This chicken waterer never freezes and is always clean

In this video, the presenter explains why conventional chicken water systems are problematic—water can freeze, become dirty, and require heating—and introduces a DIY "Everflow" solution that eliminates those issues. The system uses chicken water nipples connected to a 50‑gallon food‑safe tank. Water is supplied not from a household spigot or well but from a pond located about 40 vertical feet above the tank, drawn through a PVC filter intake. The tank fills via gravity, and excess water drains through a tall outlet pipe, creating enough head to flow back down to a creek, effectively returning unused water to its original source. The design ensures continuous flow, prevents freezing, and keeps the water clean without manual heating or frequent cleaning.
