Big Daddy and Grandma hauling in our meat to the butcher. Thank you, Grandma. We will have our own lamb very soon. I'm excited about that. And our beef. We had run out of beef. You're the happiest baby. You're such a blessing and so happy. So happy. Oh, did you get that all over Mama? Kids did the chores this morning. Mom and I gotta home shoot At the doctor's office. That happened 2 times, Mama. You going with us? You going with us?
We are at the doctor's. The boys have been setting up probably for about 45 minutes.
Get that, uh, ballast off the table and that cord.
You nervous, Cindy?
A little bit.
You'll do fine. You'll do great. It's low pressure. Ben's a great interviewer. It'll be like a conversation.
See the sun coming in? Isn't that nice?
Gonna be neat lighting as we do a shot of getting inspected.
But there's no sun. It's a light stand.
The interview is over. It seemed like it went well. Now they're doing a mock checkup with Rebecca.
3, 2, 1, action.
We are back. How do you guys think the interview went?
It was awesome.
Wasn't that cool?
Between Dr.
Liebert and Brandon, we got some like super golden, golden stuff.
Yeah, Dr. Liebert was fantastic.
Yep. What was your impression of Brandon yesterday?
Brandon is like a, it's like a philosopher butcher, and he kind of blew my mind, right? 3 or 4 times I was like, really?
Not just once, 3 or 4 times.
I'd say so. Yeah, his interview is next level.
Do you want her on the, uh, other side, Ben, to walk down?
Yes. This is going to be the most epic water gardening scene ever.
So I can like prune tomatoes, I can water, I can weed, I can do whatever you want.
Okay, let's—
I kind of want to do all that.
Okay, maybe we'll start with a shot of you walking down the garden.
Okay.
And Luke's gonna follow you parallel on this side.
Okay, not Jake, just walking, not watering, or watering, uh, just walking this time.
Thanks, Ben.
The garden looks so good, Beck.
It really is.
This is like prime right now. That's cool, it's got a sun guide. It's called an eyebrow, it helps with the sun. Look at you in the lens.
And what's the pace you want?
Do you want to show her the pace?
Yeah, kind of like— it's kind of chill, so you're Okay, just, um, you're this kind of thing.
Okay, you're a professional plant looker.
It's so funny, Dr. Leibert was just like, oh, this is like— she was so nervous. I was like, I'm bad at it too, don't worry.
Oh, action!
Indian Wednesday. What do we got going tonight, Arun?
Some, uh, I'm just thinking what I can create.
Oh, nice. So what's the sauce?
So this is just garlic, onion, and ginger.
Do you know where the alfalfa is?
Bucket? Or—
Yeah, the bucket.
So when you go, you know the tub where the milk— Yeah, the milk supply, right there beside there. You can see the yellow lid on top.
Okay, I couldn't find it. I'm wanting to go visit Buddy, just check in on him. He's being weaned, not happy about it. Oh, I found it! Aroon was right under there. Yeah, I found it, buddy. Okay, this is good. So see, Buddy is coming up to me. That's what we're hoping to do. It brought Nacho up to me. Buddy was eating, so I'm happy about that. This is the idea. That's why we harvested Escalito. He was so crazed. That, you know, why when we can replace him with somebody like Buddy who's just going to be like a pet? I mean, you guys are going to be around for 10 years. We might as well get friendly. Sheep, sheep, sheep, sheep, sheep, sheep, sheep! Look at that! Sheep, sheep, sheep! Nacho would— I mean, just because, uh, Escalita's out of here, it's gonna calm Nacho down too. I'm gonna pet Buddy. Yeah, I know, buddy. I know we're gonna have to build back trust, aren't we? We banded him and separated from the herd, so we are not associated with good things right now, but we'll change that. We'll keep bringing you out some snacks, and then you'll realize we mean good things. I'm just gonna sit here. Let Nacho eat right in front of me. We'll be petting you. We could pet him in the winter when we had everybody. Yeah, this is just much better. Isn't this much more calm? Escalito would have been running over there. He would have never came over here. Boy, you're a beautiful ram. You're beautiful. You gonna let me pet you, buddy? Some of Nacho's skittishness could be rubbing off on Buddy. I've got— I'm gonna make everybody a potato bar. Got the potatoes warming up. Have you ever had a potato bar? Loaded baked potatoes?
No, like what do you put?
Well, I put baked potatoes out, I'm gonna put bacon bits out, I'm gonna put broccoli out, I'm gonna put salsa out, cheese, sour cream.
Oh, sounds good.
Uh, guacamole. So people can just get whatever they want. Salsa.
Is this Mexican style or what is this?
You can, you can make it Mexican style, which would be, uh, the cheese and, uh, pico de gallo and sour cream. Or you could do, I guess, American style, cheese and broccoli, bacon bits. Potato bar out of the way. I'm getting hungry. I'm OMADing, but it's working, uh, lowering my inflammation. I must have lost like 7 pounds so far. How you feeling, Beck? Good. How you feeling, Henry? Yeah, feeling good too. You gonna be the star of this next show, or you going in the bouncy seat?
I'll go in the bouncy seat with Gideon, maybe.
Ben, you want me to grab some alfalfa?
Yeah.
What's the objective here?
We're wanting to get y'all, uh, kind of showing off a little bit of the companionship.
Okay, the animals. All right, good. Yeah, he's perfect for that. We got a good relationship with Buddy. Next up, water in the garden. Let's check out these plants in the greenhouse. I'm happy to say, for the most part, they are absolutely jamming. Actually, we better hurry up and get our trellises. I've been seeing a lot of gardens around here, Rebecca, with cattle panel trellises and T-posts. We've got cucumbers going good. What's interesting is these cucumbers are not doing so well in this little 15-foot patch. Peppers are doing fine. The tomatoes aren't doing that great in this patch. I'm thinking this is about where the waterer was, so you could have an over-concentration of manure here. Maybe we wrapped up the tomato shots. Now we happen to look over here at our onions. And they're seeding. Don't know exactly what's happening there except maybe it's only been hot lately, so that's probably not it. Does it have something to do with coolness? The bulbs are way too small, non-existent. We have this huge greenery. Well, probably one of you guys will tell us. Actually, actually, Rebecca, there, there you got a few big ones. What's the plan here?
So I think we're gonna— Jake, I think I'm gonna have you in this field if possible.
In the field?
Yeah.
Yeah, um, farther back the better. And then just— yeah, and Justin, I'm gonna have you hop over this fence and walk over to the cows.
All right, so not too low to be able to see them.
Yeah, this is more—
are you gonna want me to touch the cows or anything?
Yeah, I think—
I don't know what the— you know what, I'll have to get a— I'll get my alfalfa. Okay, bucket, and I can do it. Okay, that was interesting. Well, one of the parts of the story is the Pete Canaris part, Rebecca. Remember? Yeah, that like everything was hard. I mean, cow died, the sheep were done, it rained 80 inches that year. Yeah, uh, we had a moment and I, I think Pete picked up on that and said, why are you doing this? And had to really dig deep because it was like pouring rain for 5 days and we're getting soaked in the chores. You remember that? 2018. Teddy, I don't think would mind it. What do you guys think? So I'm thoroughly drenched and we'll need to get changed now for the interview. Are you having fun in this? This is something to you, isn't it? Well, we wrapped up my interview. Sorry, I feel like I should pause. Like, this is not like a farm field, uh, vlog, but I just want to be honest with you. This is a vlog about our life and it's not always farm-filled. A lot of our reality is a content creation business surrounding our homestead lifestyle. And so you got behind the scenes. This isn't going to be the most popular vlog in the world. That's okay because we love you guys, our Super Vans. Thank you for watching just anything we put out. It means so much to me. There's so much to watch, but you choose us. Thank you. We will wrap this up with Indian Wednesday very soon. That'll be a nice happy ending. Henry, a nice happy ending. You give us a nice happy ending. If I don't have a happy ending, I can just come see you and get a smile from you. It's been an amazing day. It's been a big day, productive day. Lots of content coming your way. This is how I like to end every day— 55 degrees for 3 minutes. See y'all tomorrow.
