Two people launched a $90 book their mentor thought would sell 1,000 copies. The mentor ordered 5,000 anyway. They added a farm tour and surprise stickers to the promotion. They sold 8,000.

Who buys— who pays $90 for a book? Nobody's ever gonna pay $90 for a book. But, you know, we had $60,000, $70,000 out on it.
But, you know, how many are you gonna sell? I mean, a couple hundred maybe? I'll mention it in a few vlogs. A little while later, he emails me back and he says, "I'm counting on you to sell 1,000." I can't do that. I'm gonna disappoint my mentor right out the gate. And then it went from, "I can't sell 1,000," to, "How can I sell 1,000?" Why don't you go to his farm when this book comes out and do a big tour of some of the things that are in this book? And then why don't you do a sticker, a surprise sticker bonus? We go into this launch. He ordered 5,000 books, counting on me for 1,000.
He sold— it was 8,000 in all.

If I had to start my Homestead all over again, it could only pick one animal…
