We're clearing for a graveyard. We're building a graveyard on farm. We're kind of thinking this corner piece in the corner of our property. This land is my land. I love it so much, I'm going to be buried here. Putting in a graveyard is next-level commitment to the land. It's a renewal of the vows. Why now? I don't plan on dying anytime soon, but Grandma does. Is at the end of her ALS journey, it occurred to us that if it meant so much for us to be buried on our own land, it could mean so much more to us that loved ones also be buried here. So we put up the offer. We proposed this to Grandma, my mother-in-law, and she's game. She was going to be cremated, and should we get this done on time, her bones can remain on this land. So day 1, 3 things: we point out a spot, we get 100 feet off the water, and we start clearing.
