In this informal vlog, host Victor (Speaker A) walks viewers through a day of farm chores centered on a mobile chicken coop (“Chickshaw”) and its impact on the kitchen garden. The chickens roam a run adjacent to the garden, shredding weeds, fertilizing soil, and eating sweet‑potato greens, while the family distributes feed to guide their foraging. A time‑lapse tracks the chickens’ garden work. Interspersed are personal moments: Rebecca’s pregnancy blood‑test results and medication discussion, her cravings and recipe planning (Caesar salad, no‑bake cheesecake bars), a dog‑grooming visit for Teddy, and Lily’s playful interactions. The vlog also showcases a DIY repair of a broken wheel on a “Mineral Shaw” cart, referencing past farm‑tour experiences. Throughout, the host offers links to the Chickshaw build, shares observations about the chickens’ behavior, and highlights family routines such as Indian Wednesday cooking. The narrative blends practical farm tips, family health updates, pet care, and DIY project insights in a conversational, upbeat tone.

That was Rebecca getting her blood taken.
I'm not torturing him, I promise.
You're just getting him ready for the groomer.
Well, he's got burrs. I can't— I feel— It's not their job to pick out all the burrs.
So what's gonna happen with blood results?
Well, we're gonna know exactly what's going on and what—
I—
I don't know.
We're gonna find out what is a better medicine for me to be on. Pregnancy's kicking my butt. It's literally taking all my brain cells. I was thinking, I couldn't even think how to spell shape. It's like, shape. I was like sounding it out and I'm like, you're 41, you know how to spell shape.
These chickens, some of them, the adults, The ones in the chickshaw, they're in a run right next to our kitchen garden. Super convenient, shredding our weeds. That was some sweet potatoes, sweet potato greens from yesterday. Everyone, did they like the sweet potato greens? Yeah. Yeah. Okay, so why bring the sweet potatoes to them, the sweet potato greens, when we can bring them to the sweet potato greens? Yeah, see, I'm pretty sure I attached that. I mean, we could undo that. But I actually think it'll be easier for us to pick it up. It's this easy, this Chickshaw Mini Me. By the way, if y'all want to build this thing, I put up to 30 chickens in this, uh, little 4x4 coop. I'll leave the link for it in the description. Jonah with some drone shots. Wow! We got the coop up. Net time, man. These things make it possible. Mobile coop, Premier One poultry net, electricity, lights. I want you to look at this. They are out and about, moving around, fertilizing with their holy chicken and scratching about, eating the greens. We're gonna cover it up with a silage tarp after they Oh, the fertilizer, it will attract the worms. What, what they don't get, we'll get with the silage tarp. But they're gonna knock this down mega, making the silage tarp's job and our job easier.
What's up, buddy?
Can you go play now?
Where's your crew?
They're up there waiting for me.
Are you playing?
No.
Are you playing? Um, we got to get a feeder in here and then you can go play.
We're only collecting hay. Well, grass.
Oh, okay. Okay. This feed will help us spread it around, trying to keep consistent with our egg laying. Put it out in various spots to encourage them to work different areas. Just how much garden work can these chickens do in one day? We're gonna find out. We're gonna go to our business on chores. We've got a time-lapse going. Oh, there's Teddy's groomer.
Groomer!
Oh, hello. I know, I know, I remember you, but I also want to bark at you some more. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
Look who's done! Oh, you look different.
You look cute. Dishes are good. Oh, you peed all over my floor.
He's so excited. You like the haircut? You like the haircut? Are you excited to see us? You were without us for 30 minutes. I remember the yogurt. Thank goodness we've been done a little bit. Just 100 degrees milk with a little bit of yogurt in it turns into yogurt. You give him a little snowball, uh, sun bath. Yeah, I'm giving her, him a kiss.
Less than 2 weeks till we find out.
You're feeling better today though.
I am feeling good.
You're about to make yourself a lunch.
I am.
That's great.
Caesar salad.
Go for it.
So good.
That salad was jamming yesterday. It was so tender.
I also— did you eat some?
No, but I cut it up for y'all.
I also printed out a ton of recipes of things I want to make, like—
ooh, she's starting to feel good.
Brownie. I've got— I'm gonna make no-bake cheesecake bars with a brownie crust. Mmm, very excited about that.
We've got to see what the kid— oh boy, this is what they've made. Okay. They've gotten some hay. You got the grass out of the road. Is this your nest?
Yeah.
Oh my word, we played some kind of animal. They go out, they go all out. Oh cool. Yeah, that is cool.
Look, here's what, here's, here's what we are.
Oh, I like it. Nice. And you have a little step. Are those your eggs?
Yeah, well, no, they're food. And, and if they, and if I can have a sweet potato to eat.
Okay, nice. I like it. Holy moly, I can see the ground in here. Thank you, chickens. Thank you very much. How cool. All right, I went to move the Mineral Shaw. Stud, you've absolutely crushed this wheel. He picked it up and then he picked it up and it slammed down and the The spokes are broke. This, this Mineral Shaw's in a bad way. This Mineral Shaw is going to go on that if that works. That needs some more trial though. I mean, this, this has worked for— since we got back from the Great American Farm Tour, 3 years, and all it needs is a new wheel. Refreshing. Hey, Lily, what gets in— what gets into you to do that? Like every day too, every time I do it.
Well, almost every time. Yeah, I haven't done it 2 times.
What makes you do it?
Eh, I don't know. It just feels nice afterwards.
Aww. You're so consistent with the milking too. Becky!
Yes!
Look at this, Amy. Snowball's here. You printed off all these dessert recipes.
Yes, so—
No, I did one that wasn't a dessert. You said it's a salad dressing.
What about these over here? Amy's busted you. I'm telling you, this is gonna be some baby.
Snowball has a sweet tooth.
He does. This one's been very different, hasn't it, Rebecca?
It has.
You haven't craved anything, only tolerated. But you are eating good, good amount right here. That's encouraging.
Yeah, today I was really hungry. Like, maybe I've hit— maybe I've hit the second trimester.
Hey, you kind of—
you kind of need to just I want to so bad. I want to feel good so bad.
Yeah, what's Indian Wednesday? Arun cooks for all of us on Wednesday. She's giving the dance.
Very excited.
Who would not dance? The chef.
Very excited for—
for me, he does this delicious fried egg and cheese, and then I'm having the chicken. Everybody's happy. Black. Yay!
