Okay, good for you guys working together.
Just over 3/4 of an acre.
You want to say what your name is?
Faye.
Faye. And what are you growing, Faye?
Washington. We're growing chickens and cabbage and zucchini and squash. Yeah, we had baby chicks hatch out on Monday. Oh, cool! Congratulations!
Cabbages! Now what's a good farmer supposed to do with a good-looking cabbage?
Eat it!
Oh, okay, but before you eat it, kiss it! That's right, kiss it! Good job!
I'm Audrey Neufeld.
I'm Ken.
And we have just under 8 acres, and we have a Nigerian dwarf herd of goats, chickens, and we have a garden and orchard. Hi, I'm Hannah and this is my mom Barbara. And my husband and I live in Southeast Portland and we're renting, but we still have chickens and we're growing vegetables as well and working on compost pile.
Hey, I'm Chris, I'm from Eugene, Oregon, and I focus on super hot peppers. Okay, you like to eat those hot peppers? No, I don't. Okay, but who likes to eat those hot peppers? I like mixing it with like honey and then sharing, you know, things out and just, it's just making things and getting creative. Okay. Hi, I'm I'm Enoch Graham. I am from Southern Oregon. I do a bunch of small space gardening and I feature that on YouTube myself. We do rooftop gardening. I have a pepper garden on the carport rooftop. I grow out of my alleyway all sorts of different vegetables, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, corn, you name it, we try to grow it. Okay, excellent. Am I in the video? I'm in this? I'm in the movie? Okay, good job. Tell everybody what your channel is. The channel is The Urban Gardener, so youtube.com/c/TheUrbanGardener. Okay, nice. Thank you.
I'm Bobbi Lee and my husband Philip Lee can't be here with us, but we're from Salem, Oregon, and we're growing chickens. And we live in an apartment currently, so we— you're using a friend's property to grow our own garden this year, and it's working out really well.
Good for you.
So we're growing a wide variety of vegetables, just the basic stuff.
Cool. You didn't have the land, so you borrowed some.
Yep.
Good job.
93-year-old friend.

8 different types of fruit trees, Muscovy ducks, chickens.
And yeah.
Why a circular garden?
Because nature doesn't grow in straight lines and it doesn't drive me as nuts in a circular garden if everything's not straight.
Yeah, it looks nice.
Yeah, so it just does its own thing and I can let it do its own thing.
Okay.
Does it better.
Do your friends and family think you're nuts? Uh, no.
Oh, good. Not for gardening.
They actually vacation up at our property because they like it so much. Hi, I'm Paula, and I'm going to be planting my urban garden dreams in Corvallis in January.

So you already butchered 160 of them? We have, yeah. You're gonna do it again next year? Yeah, absolutely. Okay, so it wasn't that bad. No, not, not bad at all. Hi, my name is Chad and this is Reese. We're growing apples, pears, peaches, plums, raspberries, pumpkins, and we have a vegetable garden too. You want to tell them about the animals?
Um, turkeys and chickens and pigs and rabbits. Rabbits.

We have some chickens too, don't we?
Dad's saying, say yes, say yes.
Yes.
Do they eat the Brussels sprouts? For the most part, yeah. Okay, how do you get the kids to eat the vegetables? Lots of butter. Yeah, it's a fight. Good. I'm Dennis and this is my wife Lynn. Looking for a little, little land to grow some more chickens and veggies.
Well, best of luck, guys, in your search. Thanks. I'm Daisy. I live in Lebanon, and what I'm growing: blueberries, asparagus, rhubarb, anything that will grow in a pot and be happy so I can move it when I find property. Oh, good for you, not letting nothing stop you. Nope. Good.
