Let's see. Everybody did it. You bunch of tree huggers. Hey kids, you know where we're going today?
Well, the valley, which is where we're headed. It seems like it's really, really beautiful. I don't know. I mean, I don't really know much about Yosemite. I mean, I know that Half Dome's there, and there's the, um, the big tree that you can go through, although that's closed right now, which is a big bummer. I was really, really, really, really, really wanting to do that, but, um, we'll just have to come back. Out the window. Look at how beautiful it is. It's just something about this.
Yosemite Valley, y'all! Time to explore. Look at the size of this tree. Oh my gosh, can everybody wrap around it? Okay, you got his toe. Oh, y'all did it!
You gotta get on it!
Y'all did it! Grab him, grab him, grab him! You guys did it even without me. Let's see. Everybody did it. You bunch of tree huggers. You got another one, huh?
Yeah.
Okay, start wrapping around.
Jonah, you use your foot too. Okay. Jonah, you wanna use your foot. Josiah, get in. Get on this side. And then Josiah, you do your foot.
Oh boy, you might need me this time.
Yeah, get on it, Papa.
Oh, you're gonna need me. He's got his foot.
Hurry, hurry, make the connection.
Okay, let's make the connection. Here we go. We did it.
Yay!
We did it. We hugged that big old tree. Whoa!
Look up, look up between the trees. Come back here, Lily. See it? Oh yeah. You see the waterfall? Cool. So beautiful. I don't think you can take a bad picture. Good job.
That's Grandpa, huh?
This is Grandpa.
Grandpa John Muir.
I was gonna say, I don't think either grandpa looks like this guy.
We're here about to take the Yosemite shuttle to go to some places we can't go by car. Is that it?
No, that's 14.
Not it?
Okay, 'cause 14 will take us to opposite loop. We'll come back on that one.
Okay. We're coming.
Let's go.
All right, let's go see the lake and the Half Dome.
Yeah.
How do you think that big rock got to be here?
It fell from one of these things. I don't know which way. We made it to Mirror Lake.
All right, let's go, guys. We need to go back. Getting late. Kids, I have a question now to ask you again. Now, what makes Yosemite so special? Lily?
But it's beautiful.
It is beautiful. Mr. Brown, what makes Yosemite so special?
They like the cliffs and mountains. Yosemite's so special because of all the boulders and rocks.
Mom, I think I officially have a favorite national park. It'd be Yosemite. I know we could spend a week here.
Easy.
I think it's so special because just look at this, like, epic beauty. You cannot take a bad photo. Look out the jagged cliffs, the waterfalls that have the boulders.
Wherever you look, it's just like awe-inspiring, amazing, beautiful, breathtaking, breathtaking, everything without words. Yeah, you just can't really describe why it's so beautiful. It's just like you come into it and you're like You can hear the music. Yeah, I know.
And when we come to these places, I feel like I should be able to come up with some legendary commentary about these places to match it, and I just can't muster it out. And I guess it's because there's no words to describe these places. If you like our national park videos, I'll leave the link. We've started a playlist right there. Go enjoy the beauty, the most beautiful parts of our country.
