MAKING AN MBA DECISION | DAY 30

After 30 days of daily vlogging, the creator chose USC for his MBA starting in July and is moving to Los Angeles. He's shifting from daily personal vlogs to business and career content, citing time management as his biggest constraint while balancing a full-time job, writing, and coaching.

What is up? It's been a good day today. Today I decided on a school and it is USC. I will be going to USC for my MBA starting in July and I am so excited about it. I'm ready to get it started, start meeting people, start prepping for the classes, choose a place to live, an actual apartment or whatever. I'm living somewhere. Just get the whole thing started. I'm ready. It's been a long, long, long process to even choose a school, and I'm ready to just begin. And moving to Los Angeles is going to be a huge jump. My best friend lives there. Another friend of mine lives there. Another friend— a few people actually know in LA, so that would be great too. And I'm just ready to get it all Started. The work has only just begun, though the process, at least for choosing, is now over. USC it is, starting very soon. It is day 30 of the vlog, which I'm excited about. It's been fun making these videos, but I'm going to adjust course, not do as much of a necessarily daily vlog, but more so putting out videos on business, on careers on a daily basis still. So I mean, still want to put out videos, but vlogging is difficult. And what I've learned in the past 30 days of vlogging, one, it's good to have a challenge to stick to something. If I would not have bet Zach put a challenge on the line, I'm not sure I would have done this and kept making videos. At least in the vlogging nature, every single day for 30 days. But I'm glad I did. I learned that, you know, how tough it really is to daily vlog and have an even greater respect for the Casey Neistats of the world, the Peter McKinnon, other people who are vlogging daily or almost every day putting out high-quality videos. It is not easy, especially with having, you know, the full-time job with Clark Toys. And then trying to put out videos, then trying to write articles for Just Go Grind, keeping up with my online fitness clients for Just Go Fitness. It's a lot. And that's not even counting like hanging out with my girlfriend and trying to spend time with like my dad and stuff. There's a lot of stuff going on, but daily vlogging is very difficult. Props to you people. Props to people who have done it before. I'd like to do some more vlogs. Type of thing, but like I said, I still want to be in video, just a different type of video. Everything about starting a business, a company, whatever, it's all about time. All you have is a limited amount of time. That is your— that's the one resource that you just don't have a lot of. You don't have a ton of time. You're trying to make the most of it constantly, and daily vlogging is not necessarily The best way to spend all of my time. I want to put out some more helpful, useful videos for people, and I will figure out how exactly to do that.
