How'd you become an entrepreneur in the first place? I started my first company when I was relatively young, 13, 14. Did well, low 6 figures in revenue. Meant that I was not focused on my homework, as you would imagine. I think when I'm asked the question of why did you start the company? My pop was a single dad, a lawyer. He took incredible care of me and my sister, always providing. And I think that I just wanted to work like Dad. You know, I saw him at his computer working long hours, and that entrepreneurial spirit, that work ethic was always there. I think that a more interesting question now, being on the second large startup is why do you keep doing it? And it's interesting. I think that what I've narrowed it down to is about pride. Like, I love to make our customers proud. I love to make the team proud. I love to make myself proud. And I think that that's ultimately why I wake up every day and I'm so excited to get to work.
