In this vlog, Kaley Sanders reflects on his personal journey as a touring musician, sharing nostalgic memories of a childhood bus that once shuttled him to Orlando Magic games and now serves as his tour bus. He discusses the growth mindset of the band, likening their development to outgrowing a size‑8 shirt, and celebrates the addition of Derek to the team, highlighting Derek’s role in sales and radio connections. Putting it all out there and putting myself out there has been a really, really crazy journey so far. Very fulfilling. We had a good first run, dude. There you are. I'm making coffee, but it doesn't fit. Marty was like, we almost— he was on the bus.
Why'd you have to be late?
Yeah, I'm the one more thing guy. Wait, hold on, one more thing. And then we're like, we leave an hour later. Yep, that's me. I get it from my mother. Yeah, thank you, Melissa. Welcome. Look at all the things I have. I require a lot of drinks. Stocked up. Look, Kenyu Forex. Huge, huge. Hooked on them. They're amazing. Look, do you have another one?
Back pocket?
You have another one? Another flavor in the back pocket. Damn, stacked. Bye everybody! Birthday party coming up there. All right, we now have a bus. We now have a bus. Shh, don't tell anybody. We're going to talk about it later. I love it. We need a bus. Please. We're going to grow into it. It's like we're a teenager. We're growing up. We're wearing size 8s, but we know we're going to be size 12s. We're really betting on ourselves here to grow. Again, the coolest thing about this bus is, um, I practically grew up on it. My, uh, my best friend that I grew up with him in Florida, me and him played basketball together, and him, his dad, and my dad worked together, and we were all super tight. And we used to take this bus to Orlando Magic games because me and my buddy Lane, that's his name, we wanted to be in the NBA when we grew up. So they would just shuttle us to these basketball games like every week almost during basketball season. And it's weird that things have come full circle and I'm a grown-up now and I'm using it not for basketball. It's a really full circle, like emotional, honestly. Like when I went to pick it up from Mr. Steve, I thought we were all gonna cry because it was It was like, damn, what's happening? Like, I was like this high when we used to ride this thing.
I don't know, man.
We all grew up together. It was a really cool exchange. It was a really cool moment. It was beautiful. Rock and roll, dude.
This ball is not this moment in time I'm trying to get.
Over.
Right here, right now. Ain't figured it out, but I'm sitting here sipping, trying to get closer. Shot after shot after well whiskey shot. I'm down to try everything that they got. So how long till heartaches drown? Maybe I'll know a couple beers from now.
Peace.
We had very good gig.
You never know how it's going to turn out. Yep, sometimes it do.
It do.
I'm Bo Jiden and I approve this message. I'm Bo Jiden's husband and I approve this message. Financial advisor?
No, no, it's gonna be sales, man.
It's gonna be sales.
Listen, they'd be like, why does this guy sell? Let me break this down for you. When Derek walked in after the show and we were all on the bus and he said, guys, I want you to gather around. I did do that. He came right here, right here, right here, right there, and he threw down a wad of cash. Your facial expression said what? It was that— it was in that moment that Derek was— he solidified his position on the team. Yeah. Um, Derek, welcome to the team.
Thank you.
We need you. Thank you. So you're coming to Texas?
Yes. Let's go!
You're paying for all of his food.
ZVC Radio.
Dude, glad to be here.
Home of, uh, we have a rock station, we have a top 40 station, we've got a hip-hop station, we have a Spanish station. So if you hear like somebody screaming, that's just going to be them because I have no idea what he says at all.
But I speak a little bit of Spanish if they speak slow enough.
I can ask, I can ask to point me to the closest restroom, uh, and I can order a beer if I'm at a bar. I told you, I told you you're gonna, you're gonna hear it. I want every day to work in this format because I can relate. Like, when I hear a new song, I can listen to it and I can hear it. Like, I can relate to that. Like, or I feel a certain way because of that. And only country music has that to offer. Yeah, which is— which is— you chose a great format to play, or genre of music, if you will.
It's sort of just what I've always tried to not box myself in. Um, into any genre or any frame of mind for that matter. Because when I sit down to write, I would like for whatever to come out to come out. I mean, it's art. It's ultimately going to be in its best form if you just let it be what it is, however you're feeling that day or whatever your story is or whatever you're going through. We made it. We made it. To Georgia stop number 2, and Brad is addicted to VR. It's been 3 minutes. It's been 3. Well, it's safe to say. Yo yo! Everybody please get ready for Scott, Brad, and Caleb Sanders.
You're the only thing that's been on my mind, and you're the reason why I lie awake at night. I know we said it's over, but by now we should know. Yeah, we're good at goodbye, but we're no good at letting go.
Drink worthy. You ever watch that? You ever watch it? I want to be famous. We just woke up, we just got in, and, uh, you know, I had one brewing. And I had to let it loose. And so Brad ran to the front of the bus. Scott joined him. And then I followed them. And then he turns around and goes, "You're the last person I want to see." That's a chicken, not a— that's an eagle. That's an eagle, not a chicken. Can you delete all of that? Hey! It's your boy, uh, Skinny Penis. I love a dog-friendly place. There's dogs everywhere in here. I don't know, I got that dog in me. Um, cheers, boys. Atlanta, Georgia was a blast, and I feel really fulfilled right now, actually. That was just so much love. So much love, dude. Good weekend. And we had way too much pizza. I need to eat like a steak or something. We're just getting started, man. It's really cool. It feels so special because I'm following the footsteps of my entire family. And I've had some conversations with them and they're like, like just kind of telling them, expressing to them like just how much it really is fulfilling, no matter how scary it is, just to chase this dream. And it just meant so much to me just to be following in their footsteps. And both my dad and mom were like, "Buddy, you made it farther than we ever did already. Keep going." And that meant the world to hear. Dude, it was like, I'm chasing a career that is like one of the most unpromising, like, it's like 99% fail. Fail rate, maybe. I don't know. But to hear my dad, my stepdad, and my mom all say that they're proud of me and like, we're just getting started. It's just, it's so fulfilling to, especially to show up to these small towns in Georgia that are a lot like where I'm from and It means so much to them, and it means so much to me because I'm not staring at my bedroom wall anymore, singing to myself, hoping that someday somebody will give a shit. Putting it all out there and putting myself out there has been a really, really crazy journey so far. Really lots of stage fright to overcome. Come, but like finally getting there and receiving that love from those people in the small town in Georgia, and it's very fulfilling. We had a good first run, dude. Yeah, we did. And lots of pizza. Too much pizza, dog. But I'm excited for what's to come next. We've got the EP dropping. And we're hitting Texas. And then back to Florida. And then back to Florida for a little hometown run. That should be fun. I'm excited about that. Yeah.
