i am not your f**king trading guru

Andrea Cimi rejects the "trading guru" label and exposes how the industry fabricates results through lifestyle marketing and prop-firm payouts. He links a live-tracked $600k Charles Schwab account showing 30% YTD returns and pledges to keep it public for a year, arguing profitable trading must be verified through regulated brokers, not screenshots.

A few days ago, I was reading a comment defining me as a trading influencer or a trading guru. And ladies and gentlemen, I find myself quite uncomfortable with such a label because yes, I am somewhat an influential figure in the trading space, but I wouldn't consider myself a trading influencer or a trading guru. I have never sold a course labeled Andrea Cimi teaches you how to become a profitable trader. I have merely shared the education I've had from some of the best traders in the world, like world trading champions, hedge fund managers, former market makers, portfolio managers of all types. I've simply shared the information that I've learned from them for free with you guys here on the channel. And I've always made sure to have the ethics in place. And I find myself again very uncomfortable with being labeled as a trading influencer because 95% of trading influencers are not real traders. They show you lifestyle, which is not indicative of being a profitable trader. They show you watches that they bought. They show you Lambos that they bought maybe or rented. They They show you the trips they have. They show you the fun they have. They show you the life that young traders or young men today want to achieve. And they leverage this dream, this lifestyle dream, to sell courses, mentorships, coaching, or pretty much everything around that matter. And the only thing that they bring as a proof of their legitimacy is a prop firm payout or a few prop firm payouts. Even $100,000 in prop firm payout Doesn't mean anything. Does not prove profitability. A trader whose resume I quite respect is Lance Bernstein, and he's he was mentioning it in a previous video about this other trader that is just showing prop firm payouts without showing how much money he's spending in challenges to get such a payout, and demanding in a way transparency from all trading influencers, and. I was really interested about this video. I strongly advise you watch it because it exposes a reality regardless of who the trading influencer is. This is something that is about the entire industry, that fabricating a result to prove your legitimacy as a trading influencer is so easy and people will believe it very easily. And they will buy your course. They will buy your mentorship program. They will buy you as a trader. A few years ago, it was mostly about offshore forex brokers. Even a MyFXBook could be fabricated by a broker. I still to this day have tens of requests every month from offshore brokers telling me we will pay you hundreds of thousands of dollars. To get, and we'll provide you a fake trading history, a fake trading account with our offshore broker in the Vanuatu Islands. You promote our brokerage firm. We'll make you the king of the trading space. We will make people believe you're an actual trader. We make money. You make money. Everyone's happy. And I've said no to this deal more times than I can count. Then prop firms came along, and some prop firms approached me telling me that they could somehow fabricate a big payout, pay it out to me, make me the GOAT of prop firm trading as long as I promoted their prop firm aggressively across all my personal social media channels. That would have been super easy money for me. But the reason I joined the trading space, even though a lot of people do not know it, is because my father got scammed heavily by several trading brokers in a period where my family was financially struggling. He bought into the promises of bad people, of evil people that manipulated his perception and his noble will To change the financial situation of his family, they pierced into that dream. They promised that they could fix that dream just in the same way all these fake gurus do, and stole him tens of thousands of euros. And when I saw that, and I saw the consequence of that in the well-being of my family, I started getting intrigued about trading, and I started studying. I started to see how big the scam of the trading industry is, and at the same time. I saw the opportunity that professional trading actually provides. And what I've tried to do all this time here on the channel is to share with you guys what I learned from professionals, from real traders. And I cannot in good conscience call myself a trading influencer anymore because of what that term entails and represents. I have done a similar video, I think a few years ago now, but I think it's time to catch up and make sure there's a healthy relationship between me and my audience. We'll see how my trading was over the last year since the last time I did a live broker login here on the channel and what's the plan for this year. Now, if you go on my Twitter account, around September '23, I decided to connect my Charles Schwab trading account to this Kinfo app to verify my trading performance. And I decided to trade this account for the entire year And see where it ends up. And you can actually click this link and it will lead you to this page that you can check yourself. And I'm going to re-update it just in case. And you can see it's the same one. This was September 23rd. September 23rd was exactly here. And since the time I've shared it, this is how the trading performance has been over the last 3 months. I've managed to do approximately somewhere around $50,000 and $60,000. And this is with a Charles Schwab account, which is verified by this platform. And this is the platform that a lot of traders are now using to verify their track record. And I have connected my Charles Schwab account. Let's update the page without any cuts so you can see it's an actual account. And it— we can also start by seeing all of the account, right? Let's say all of the brokerage accounts. I started trading this account ChartSwap on August 31st. So let's go there first. August 31st, 2025. So I started this account. I've traded it. I've traded it. I've traded it for several months, managed to do around 30%. Then I launched DeepCharts, and launching DeepCharts was a very intense period. I had a lot of work to do. I got easily distracted in my trading. So you can see that the performance of this account kind of suffered a little bit, and then I decided to just stop trading for the holidays. This was the last few trades happened in December. I've had a small withdrawal, and then I started trading it again in January. Started really good, gave back some profits to the market, and then decided to stop trading again for a while. And this was the period where I had to move out of my house. Taking care of business, managing a divorce that I've been through. So divorcing with my ex-wife, and it was somewhat a rough period where I haven't traded that much. Then as soon as all of this was done, I've moved definitively to Dubai. I started trading my account again around July, and since then this is the track record. So I've opened a fresh new account right here that is exactly the one I have connected on Kinfo. So without cherry picking, I will keep trading this account for this entire next year. So you can monitor and see my actual trading performance. This is an account with around $600,000 in deposits of real money with a regulated broker. I'm going to update it one last time and I will leave you the link in the description of my Kinfo account so that I do not, you know, make trading in a cherry-picked account and then just show you the track record after one year once it's done. No, I will trade this account through the entire next year and you'll be able to follow up with it live. So I cannot decide to show you the best account. And some of you might see this and say, hey, this is not an impressive performance. A lot of you guys might say, hey, this will not buy me a Lambo, right? But if there is one way to know if a trader is actually trading and is consistently profitable through time, is this. This is the only way. So whenever you follow a trader on social media, You need to ask yourself this question, and you need to ask them this question: Do you have proof that you trade profitably, consistently? Do you have proof with a regulated broker like Charles Schwab? It's one of the biggest brokers in the world. They have $11 trillion in asset under management. They're not going to give a fuck about Andrea Cimi and making him look good on social media. Charles Schwab barely have any affiliate program. I am not affiliated with them. I honestly don't even like it that much as a broker, but because it has a history of being really one of the top in the US, being highly regulated, this is the type of firm that will not take the risk, that will not give a fuck about making me look good on social media to promote their broker. So I chose it because of this and I chose it because I can connect it seamlessly to my Kinfo account where, as you'll see here, I have 3 stars. The first star is if I'm profitable over the last month, over the last 3 months, and over the last year. If you have 3 stars, you're profitable over all of these 3 periods. So this is an honest invitation to all of the trading space, to all of the trading community, to all the gurus out there, to all the ICTs, all the SMCs, all the— every single guy in the trading space, and especially to you, audience, to ask these people, show me the proof. It's a legit question. A prop firm payout is not enough. An account you traded a year ago is not enough. Can you provide a live tracked performance of your trading verified by a third-party firm in a regulated brokerage account? This is the only realest way to know. And if you want the top notch, which is what I will do after one or two years of the same account being traded, getting an audit from one of the big auditing firms KPMG, PwC, EY, and Deloitte, and this. This is the first step. This is step one. Then, of course, you know there's live trading, right? A lot of people like to do live trading to show their trades live in front of an audience. I personally feel very uncomfortable about that. I like to trade without the pressure of having to impress an audience, but I've done it a few times. I've gone to the Chart Fanatics channel where I have traded with this exact trading account, and I was the only one in the Chart Fanatics channel to ever log into a regulated brokerage. And show my trading account and show that all of the trades are real, taken with real money. And there I did $7,000 in a single session. I did it again on my personal channel a few weeks later, a few months later, and I've done $13,000 in a single session with the same account. And then funnily enough, recently I was requested to collaborate with another channel where I have done live trading in a prop firm in a somewhat funny video where we gamble our prop firm account away, and another video where right over here I trade the New York session With this same exact account and closed the session with an unenthusiastic $800 in profit. And reading the comments, I was very fascinated because people started saying, yeah, he's not a real trader. Look at that. He took a stop loss. He managed the session poorly. And that was very fascinating because that makes you understand that people have no fucking clue what trading looks like. After showing even a track record, after going into these channels and making tens of thousands of dollars, because they saw one session where I take a stop loss, suddenly I'm just a guru. I'm just a guru. You know, I'm just one of the many fake Trading influencers, and the fact that people could think this about me really really disturbed me because I'm literally I don't want to say the only one but one of the very very few ones that have done something like this and will do something like this over the next year. Ask any guru out there to do this, and we will see how many respond. But all of this is not to say that I am the trader you should follow, that I am the trader you should learn from, that I am the guru. That will make you profitable. Look at every single video that I have made in my entire career. I have never even once promised to make you profitable. I have never in my entire career in this channel or look at even Fabio's channel or look at World Class Edge channels. Where do you see a Lambo? Where do you see lifestyle being used to promote a trading program? Find it only once. I challenge you. I dare you to find it once where we've used lifestyle to promote a trading course or program or software. It didn't happen even once. I could have easily afforded a Lambo, shoot a couple videos with it, make it seem like I made money from trading, just like all of these fuckers do. It would have been so easy. As much as it would have been easy to accept these offers from brokers and prop firms to make me look legit, but this is not what I'm here to do, guys. What I'm striving to do here in the trading industry is to share with you guys the tools and the knowledge that I have learned from legit traders. The importance of finding legit traders, legit people that will tell you straight to your fucking face. This is how trading looks like. Trading is not easy. You got to learn some very deep shit. You're going to learn how the market works. You're going to learn the mechanics of the market. You're going to learn what's the drivers of the market, the macro, the sentiment, how options work, how option flows affect the markets. Understanding what's behind the machine and extracting an edge out of it is not an easy task. And you've probably seen recently we have launched World Class Edge, which is one of the projects I'm probably the most proud of because we are making institutional level trading education for free, completely for free. We used to run somewhat an info business type of model where you know we didn't sell a course; we just collaborated with Patrick Nell and the TTT team, which is a team of amazing traders and portfolio managers, world trading champions that have done trading for their entire life, and they kind of got tired of it, and they said, "You know what? It's time to." share some of our knowledge and we want to monetize it. So we give them a platform, we help them launch their personal brands in the trading space, and we created this beautiful thing called Work Class Edge. And it didn't work out as expected. We didn't make that much money from that business. A lot of people loved the product because they were able to see professionals live every single day. Some other people didn't enjoy the product. So we said, you know what, let's reframe the whole thing. So we decided to put our budget and make all of the education inside of Work Class Edge free for everyone. Institutional-level trading education available for free for everyone in World Class Edge. Not only you have me explaining the basics, you have Fabio, a professional scalper, showing you how to use order flow. Professional portfolio managers, former hedge fund managers, former market makers from banks, and other people from the institutional space. People that have a resume that is freaking awesome. They have legit like tens of years of experience in the financial markets. They're real people, legit. People, legit traders sharing their knowledge with you guys. We paid for it, but we're giving it away for free. And with the positioning that this brand has, we could easily charge thousands of dollars to people. But we chose to take a different way. We simply chose to have it as an affiliate model where Work Class Edge is financed through affiliate links. So there's an affiliate link with DeepCharts, there's an affiliate link with a prop firm, and there's an affiliate link with a broker. And we might add a few more along the way. Way. All of the content is free. I mean, you're not forced to use this affiliate link to access the content. The content is free. Then if you want, if you want to support the project of making this available to everybody, then you use these affiliate links and the partners, and the project is self-sustained. And every time I look at this and I look at these amazing traders and I look at myself, and I have around 7 years of market experience, and as I proved and I will prove to you through the entire year, I am a guy that actually trades. I am a guy that Consistently makes money from the market and outperforms just buying and holding S&P. So I am a legit profitable trader. Even though I am this, even though I am one of the few in the industry that has the proof, I still feel like I have so much to learn. I didn't have an institutional background. I didn't study my entire life for a financial degree and get a place in one of the biggest trading floors and be one of the top traders and made Tens of millions of dollars for a bank. I haven't lived 30 years of markets. I'm just a guy that started trading 7 years ago from his bedroom, just like you. Even though I have way more knowledge and experience than 90% of these gurus will do, I don't feel qualified to teach you how to become profitable. I can show you my way. I can show you the tools that I use. I can show you the education that I've been through. I can share with you the stories of the traders that I've learned from and their knowledge for free. That's the best thing I can do. But I will not take the responsibility of making you profitable because I know it's not up to me. I don't want to take on that responsibility. I know how fucking hard this shit is. And even if I taught you everything I know, most of you guys will still not make money, would still lose because of lack of discipline. So I'm fine. I don't need to be the guru. I am not your trading guru. I am, yes, somewhat a trading influencer because I'm influential in the space. But you should learn from people that have decades of market experience. You should learn from people that do not have a 1-year track record, but they have a 10-year track record. And as you can see from my trading performance, even though it's real and legit, trading is not my main source of income. What I have learned from professional traders is not how to make a living with prop firms. What I learned from these traders is take the money you already have or that you grew through your business or that you have inherited or that you've earned through hard work, put it into the trading account and make it grow steadily through time. That's how professional trading works. That's what professional trading is. The smart money that everyone talks about in the market The big banks, the billionaires, the politicians, the informed traders, the rich guys, the investors, the banks, the hedge funds. All of these guys are not trying to make a living and pay their bills through prop firm trading. They're engaging in financial markets to grow the capital they already have. And I have stated it again in 2025, November 12th, where I started this account when I started this whole challenge, right? Of making one year of trading, of showing transparently my track record, and where I said I am not a full-time trader and will never be. I tried it, it's not for me. Now I only trade 2 hours a day max. I don't trade to make money, I trade to grow money into more money. I use a normal business to make money. If you want to learn to make a living only out of trading, Don't have me. I do not have any mentorship. If you want my knowledge, I give it away for free on YouTube. If you want to learn methodologies, do it from real traders who have proven decades of success in the market. And the most important point about this tweet, it's probably the fact that I do not want to make a living out of trading. I don't want trading to be the only thing I do and the only source of my income. And I choose every single day To not have this. Could I make a living only out of trading? Yes, I have the skills to do it. I have the strategies to do it, and I have the capital to do it. But do I even want to only sustain my lifestyle through trading? Hell no! First of all, because it's incredibly boring. Trading is boring as fuck. I mean, you need to stare in front of a chart and wait for a signal and place an entry and a stop loss and a take profit. Doing that every single day of your life forever? No thanks. Trading was exciting the first few years because I wanted to escape the matrix, and I was super emotional about, "Yeah, I'm gonna make money with trading. I'm gonna change my life," and just kept losing, losing, losing, losing more money with this mindset. As soon as I shifted to a professional mindset, as I need to compound growth my money. And I started detaching my personality and, and stopped identifying myself with trading and with my trading results and have this incestuous relationship with my trading performance, that's when I started really being profitable. When I stopped giving a fuck about my trading, I genuinely could give less of a fuck. Trading for me is just a smart way to grow the capital I have Through time, thanks to compound interest, and it only makes sense if I can severely outperform S&P. And as a retail, I know I have the structural edges to do so. But trading is just a way to grow the money, not to make a living out of it. Plus, as I said, it's boring as fuck. I mean, building companies like I'm a creative guy. Okay, I used to be a beatboxer. I was not built for this shit. I like way more to make content to. Build projects, to talk with people, to build teams and cool shit, and being side by side with my brother from another mother Fabio, and, you know, conquering the trading space and, and making cool things, and people talking about it, and having an influence on the trading space, and being able to have an impact on traders. This is so— this is way more fun, way more fun than just waiting in front of a fucking chart for a pattern to apply. Like, who would ever want to have that? as the only thing that you do in your days. You got to be a pretty boring person to do so. But I still respect who does that. But I didn't get out of a job to stop being the slave of a job to then become slave of a fucking chart. I want trading to be the tool that allows me to grow my wealth massively through time to the next 10, 15 years. So yes, I could make a living only out of trading, but first, it's incredibly boring. Secondly, it's kind of stupid because if I constantly withdraw money from my trading account to pay my fucking bills, my account will not grow through time. I will lose the most important thing in financial markets, which is time, compound interest. That's when you really start seeing accounts that have, you know, a few hundred thousand dollars in them growing into the millions and tens or hundreds of millions of dollars. That's my goal. And thirdly, if I only relied on trading profits to sustain my lifestyle, it would be such a It would be extremely risky and an extremely stupid choice. Because what if the edge that I'm exploiting because of fucking AI, because of God knows what happens tomorrow, stops working, right? You know, I have my edges are pretty fucking structural and pretty pretty fucking solid. I know that I would be able to, but what if, right? And also, having the mental pressure of I have to make a living out of trading, otherwise I will not pay my bills tomorrow. Or like, or my next meal depending on my trading profits. Like, trading is hard enough. Why would I put this pressure on top of it? Trading for me is something I am emotionally completely detached from. I couldn't give less of a fuck about my trading account. That's why I'm profitable. So I actively chose not to make trading my main source of income to make a living out of shit. Business is a much more effective cash flow machine. Trading is not built for cash flow. Trading is built for growth. That's finance, bro. So I'm sorry if you're here to learn how to make a quick buck with trading and fix your life and change your life. Trading is not the job for you. No one is going to be able to give you that. No one. You are the only one who can use your head right and make the right moves. And trading can be a vehicle, especially with prop firms nowadays, if you use risk geometry to potentially start making an income. But if I were back at square one, I would keep my living standards super low and take all this prop firm money, put it in a fucking trading account, and start using structural edges with it and start growing it through time. I would still, I would still not make the conscious choice of paying my bills with it. So if you're looking for that, you're not going to find it on this channel. You're not going to find it anywhere, but definitely not on this channel. This is not the purpose of this channel. And in the next few months, I'm going to start doubling down on content on this channel with the goal of making you aware of what professionals do, of what professional trading actually looks like, of what the truly successful traders, verified traders actually do. And I hope you'll follow me through the process. I hope you'll stop calling me a trading guru or trading influencer. And I hope you understand how different this is from everything you find on social media. And I hope for yourself that you stop believing that bullshit. I hope you'll be smart enough to stop believing people trying selling you dreams. I hope you're going to stop burning prop firm account after prop firm account after broker's account after challenge and stop wasting your time believing a dream that was fabricated for you to give money to this industry. And I hope you're going to follow real traders even outside of this channel. I wish that you start vetting who you're learning from and put in the discipline and the hard work that is required to make this thing work. And if you want to find a reliable source of information you typically don't find around, this is what this channel is about. And if you're a part of it, thank you for being a part of it. And if you're choosing to support it through World Class Edge, through DeepCharts, I promise I'll keep this line of keeping it real, reinvest into providing you even better content and information and education to help you in your journey. That's all for this video, and I can't wait to see you in the next one.
