And I have often said in years of coaching that after a breakdown there is often a breakthrough. So for most, for many, many breakthroughs, it's preceded by a breakdown. And normally when I'm saying something like this, I'm saying it because somebody is in the midst of something really, really hard and and I'm looking for the positive so that they can understand that there's going to be something good that comes out of the breakdown that they're going through. However, what I want to point to today is it doesn't always have to be this crisis or this tragedy or this awful scenario in order for you to experience a breakthrough. And what I'm going to point to are some little tools that you can utilize to get you towards a breakthrough, especially if you're finding that you feel stuck. If you find that you're struggling with change or you've tried to change and you keep going back to the same place and you feel really stuck, then it's probably time to look at things a little bit differently. So if you're stuck, chances are there's a few things that are there in a stuck situation. Chances are you are in the same pattern. You've been repeating the same things. You've tried something, but then you fall back to whatever it is. This could be with relationships. So maybe you find you're in the same argumentative pattern. This could be in a weight loss attempt. You could find that you're still in the same pattern. So when you're in that pattern, you know that you're going to have to start to look at things a little bit differently in order to get unstuck. So those are some of the common things about being stuck. Number two here is that for most people to go towards a breakthrough, they have to have reached a threshold. This threshold might be in I'll give you an example. The house is really messy and you're going through, and you see all this mess all the time, but you tolerate it. You tolerate it, you tolerate it. And then there's one thing. It's the last straw. It's this final thing that you look at and you go, that's it. I can't stand how messy this house is. And then action starts to happen. So there's that one final threshold that pushes you to get to the next state. And what that is, is what I always say is that one of the things that keeps people from changing is that they're not in enough pain. Pleasure going towards pleasure isn't nearly as big of a motivator as pain. If you're in enough pain, it's a big motivator to take the action. So when you look at a breakthrough, something has to be there for you to reach this threshold. And sometimes it gets really crummy before it actually gets better. But I don't want people stuck in this situation where they think things have to get really bad or reach an awful threshold in order for you to. To make the change that's gonna really make a huge positive difference in your life. So that's the last thing. So this is the nugget right here, your mindset Monday, and it's questions. Questions are the magic tool for you to have breakthroughs. Not only big breakthroughs, but even the tiny breakthroughs, the things that are really gonna make the biggest difference. So how you ask your questions, what questions you ask, and how often you ask your questions are going to be key for you to have little breakthroughs. And I'm going to give you an example on this. I presented at a gym this past weekend. And one of the questions I asked, we sat for a minute. We chose to take some time and reflect. And one of the questions that I asked order to focus some thoughts in order to direct some feelings in order to spark some action. One of the questions I asked, I had people sit quietly and asked, what will bring me more joy? So when people sat and reflected on that, what will bring me more joy? What in my life would I really, really want to bring me more joy? And when people reflected on that, I found out later, when they were willing to share, I found out later some things that came up. And then I asked a few more questions to prompt what's stopping you? What do you really want? What would it take for you to get that? So a few questions to get going with that prompt of what would bring me more joy? And as we kind of peeled back a few layers, all it took Was a few key questions for some people to have. Some breakthroughs. Some breakthroughs, like, I think I want a child in my life. Another breakthrough like, I'm feeling guilt, and that's stopping me from going to work out. The guilt that a mom is feeling around going to work out because people look at her because she's not with her three children. Oh, you have time to work out, do you? Oh, you can do that. And so that guilt was stopping her from something that brings her a ton of joy, a ton of value and ton of health for her herself, but also then for her family. So the point of this mindset Monday is that the questions that you ask are going to lead to breakthroughs on a daily basis. Are you asking yourself the questions that say things like, why do I always sabotage myself? Well, guess what? Your subconscious is going to look for an answer for that question if you ask, why am I always sabotaging myself? And your subconscious looks for an answer. Well, because you're no good at this. Well, because it's going to look for answers and those answers aren't always going to serve the direction that you want to go. If you're asking yourself, why am I no good at this? Why do Mondays always suck again? Your brain is going to look for the freaking answers. And if you keep filling in those answers in a way that don't serve you, you're not going to get towards the goals that you want. If you're asking yourself a question like, what would it take to get what I want for today? Or what would bring me more joy in my life? Those questions are key to get to those breakthroughs that you really want to have happen in your relationships, to have happen with your workouts, to up the next level for your performance, all of those things. So that is your mindset Monday. It's all about the questions. Take a look at what's going through your mind. What questions are you set? What questions are coming into your head, not being verbalized, that your brain is looking for the answer for and aren't serving your goals? Aren't serving your best life your best purpose? I hope this serves you and you can utilize these little tips for your best Monday and serve the rest of your week. Have a great day, guys. Thanks for popping on.
