That I think is going to make a huge difference for you and give access, more access. Okay, so number one, if you're going to make a decision, I don't care if this decision is about a career decision, making, a team, a family decision, a financial decision, a family travel decision, whatever it is, this will apply to all of those decisions so that you don't make the mistakes that can really hold you back from making your best decision or hold you back from feeling amazing about your decision. So here they are. Number one, and this first one is really important, and it has to do with getting qualified feedback. Because when we're making a decision about ourself or an action we're going to take in our career or our health or our family and. And it has to do with us and an action that we have to take, we are not the most objective people about ourselves. Newsflash. Right? We don't have great objectivity towards ourself. So it's really important that we get feedback. And the most important word that I first said was qualified feedback. Not just any feedback, but qualified feedback from somebody that really matters in that realm that you're looking, looking for information in. If you're getting feedback from somebody who's your friend or your family member or maybe a co worker, that may not be the feedback that you need in this scenario. You may need feedback from somebody who's a professional or has the goal that you're looking to attain. This is what I mean when I say qualified feedback. We are not objective when we're looking at ourselves. We do not have the eyes of objectivity when we're looking at our goals, our career, our body, our health, our family, because we have a very specific perspective when it comes to that. So number one is going to be seek qualified feedback for the decision that you're looking to make, especially if it's an important decision. Okay? Number two, the emotional impulse. Are you an emotional buyer? Are you an emotional responder? Are you reactive? So number two is avoid the emotional impulsive response. Now think of how those times that maybe you were sparked at work or maybe someone on your team really annoyed you and those things make you want to have that reaction or have that response, wait freaking 24 hours before you. You respond to that. So the emotional impulse passes. Now, if you're an emotional eater, or you're an emotional, you know, you live very emotionally in your life, that is one thing. But at least let it pass a little bit of time. See if that emotion is still there. If you're really super excited to book the most expensive adventure of your life and you really want to do it, just wait 24 hours if you still feel very strongly about it, and then make the decision. But don't make the decision within that first five minutes. Same thing when it comes to food. Wait till the emotion passes before you're having that. So any decision, whether it's your career, your health, your family, your finances, wait for that emotional response to pass. Okay, that's number two. Number three, this one is an important one and this one is tough for us to navigate, I think even more so than the emotional one. Making a decision on your past experience. Now, this seems like it would be a wise thing to do, to make a decision based on what we've experienced in the past. But here's how it typically goes. What happens normally is that we've had some sort of. We remember the things that were really, really amazing or really, really awful. That's what we remember about our past. Really, really amazing, really, really awful and everything in between. We usually kind of store away somewhere and we kind of forget about it unless Facebook pops it back up in our feed or who knows what. So we store everything away really, really emotionally awesome, really, really emotionally awful, those ones we retain. So then we go to make a decision about our finances, but we remember that last time where we lost a lot of money or we made a poor decision and then we avoid that type of decision at all from freaking costs. Well, when that happens, then we're making a decision that may not be the right decision for our now because if we're living in our now, trying to go towards a different future, we can't make a decision based on our past. Same type of thing. If you look at any relationship, if you got hurt or burned in that relationship, well, I'm never going to look at someone who looks like that again, or I'm never going to try out for that team again because it's broke my heart when I got cut, whatever it is, or I'm never going to put myself out there like that again for my career because it didn't work. So don't make decisions based on a past trauma or even a past good thing because that's not necessarily what's going to work for your now or your future. So that would be number three. And here's your bonus one. This is a bonus one today on your mistakes in making the huge decisions in your life. Your bonus one is take a look at who you're taking advice from. If you're choosing to take advice, take a look at who you're listening to in your life. If they don't have exactly what you want for where you're going, whether it's the best health, the sport performance, the next level in your career, if they don't have that, then do not take their advice. Do not listen to what they have to say or their opinions. Even if you didn't ask for your advice or go for what you want to go for, not what they think you should go for, caring about what they think is not going to serve your ultimate performance and your ultimate results. So those are your three plus your bonus one of your mistakes to avoid at all costs in making decisions that matter to you. Now if you are looking for support in this, we've got something kind of amazing because we finished our reset and our reset was mind blowing off the charts. Incredible. Awesome. And what happened was, without saying any names, there was weight loss, there was sport performance, there was a raise in a career, there were happiness, increasing confidence, adding more water and less alcohol, there were more salads, there was more activity, there's working out every day, there was increased strength. This all happened in our 30 day reset. It was freaking amazing. And this other weird thing that happened that I did not predict at all and what it was was that people wanted to keep going. They wanted the consistency, the accountability. So we created something super cool called the Empowered Team. Of course it's called the Empowered because this group is the Empowered. So it really lit us up. But it's the Empowered team and we're opening some founders spots until next until Monday. You've got until Sunday, Sunday night to get an empowered founders spot and that would be for coaching. Twice a month, weekly power up calls to keep you on your best self, to keep you towards your peak performance, on your best vitality. And that's what we're doing. So the Empowered team starts on Monday the 6th. You have an opportunity to become a founder. That's a lifetime lowered rate and we want you in. It's going to be freaking awesome. We already have some really cool people in it and a really cool community and we're going to start our morning power up on Monday the 6th. So we want you in it. So join us. It'll be cool. Have a fantastic week guys. It's Monday so this is your opportunity to create your best week, do it. If you haven't planned out your most optimal performance for this week, do it now and have a fantastic Thursday rest of your day.
