The spelled-out intro to language modeling: building makemore

Andrej Karpathy shows how a simple bigram character model built by counting becomes a neural network. A weight matrix W holds the log-counts, one-hot encoding does the lookup, and initializing W to zero creates uniform distributions. The neural net produces identical samples to the count-based version, setting up the path toward Transformers.
