My name is Michelle Welch. I am the founder of Prima Business Agency, and this is my founder story. I started Prima Business Agency because there was not a lot of options in help building the business as a new entrepreneur. So I wanted to create that knowledge base and have that structure for other entrepreneurs that look like me. My kids were the reason I started business in the first place. I was a single mom for 11 years. Having to be the head of household is so exhausting. I had to use my oldest son's piggy bank to buy my youngest son diapers. And that was the moment for me where I was like, absolutely not. Entrepreneurship, it takes a different type of grit. Couple that with being a single mom, it's hard. You have to. You have to decide if you're going to miss your kids first step or if you're going to go take care of that job that you have to do. As a mom, I always come last. The process slows you down, but it makes you want it so much more. If you want to show your children that there is a better side to all of this, bet on yourself. We're here, we're healed, and we're ready to serve you.
