One of the fears I had when I started my business was that I had spent tens of thousands of dollars on my coaching training and my coaching certificate. And I was terrified that all that money was just going to be thrown out the window, that I wasn't going to get a client, that I wasn't going to make the money back, and that I wasn't going to be able to build a business that would be able to support me because I fucking hated my job. After I discovered what my true calling was, which was helping people, I didn't want to go back to just selling cybersecurity or gym memberships or solar energy or whatever the hell it was that I was selling. I just couldn't. I tried to go back and it was so painful after realizing that I had a gift of helping people. And I share this with you because I want you to know, if you're afraid that you've poured money into making your dream come true and it hasn't worked out yet, keep going. Keep going. I kept going for two years, and I relied on the skills that I had from my previous careers. Okay? I worked in sales and marketing. I used my smarts. When I didn't know the answer to a question, I would find someone who knew the answer to that question and I would do what they said or not. I would take what they said and I would change it to make it fit me. But I just want you to know, you can be afraid. You can be a major weenie about things potentially not working out, and you can still have things work out, okay? That fear is not going to sabotage things working out unless you stop working on it. So stop being a weenie. Keep working. And if you need help, find it.
