Before any photocard trade or purchase, pause and complete 5 safety checks. Review seller history, recent feedback, account age, tagged proofs, and unresolved complaints. Request timestamped photos showing the exact card, both sides, edges, and current condition. Confirm the card, condition, total cost, shipping method, and address in writing before payment. Use purchase protection, avoid gift cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or payment pressure. Photograph the card, sleeve, packaging, and sealed mailer before shipping. Keep every receipt. Use tracking for valuable cards, verify the address, and save shipment and delivery records. After delivery, inspect immediately.
