Most collectors ruin their photocards with standard plastic sleeves that contain PVC, which causes yellowing and peeling. Use PVC-free, acid-free sleeves instead, and protect cards with a penny sleeve inside a rigid top loader for the best results.

The biggest mistake beginners make is using the wrong plastic. Standard office supplies can actually ruin your cards. Only use PVC-free and acid-free sleeves. PVC contains chemicals that will cause your photocards to yellow or peel over time. Protect your investment early.
