In this motivational monologue, Kelly Alhooie shares her personal startup story, explaining how she began with only $800 in savings and a $400 initial investment to launch her business. Lacking traditional financing, she obtained a credit card and spent $3,000 on a business coaching program. Within a month she generated $4,000 in revenue, paid off the credit‑card debt, and emphasizes that lack of money is not a valid excuse. She argues that investing in the right coach and maintaining a strong belief in oneself are the key drivers of success, urging listeners to take immediate action despite financial constraints.

I don't have money to start. So how the heck was I supposed to start a business? Well, guess what? Neither did I. I only had $800 in my bank account and I got my business started for $400. Yes, $400. No loan, no sugar mama, no sugar daddy, nothing. Okay. It's just purely out of will and fight and pain of I just had to make things work. And yes, I had to get a credit card and never had a credit card beforehand. Had to get a credit card and had to put $3K on it to invest in coaching, business coaching, so that I understood how to go from here to here because I only had that month to determine is this going to work or is it not? It was either sink or swim. And within 1 month I made $4,000. $4,000. You think I was able to pay that credit card off? Yes, I was. Because in 1 month my back was against the wall. I had no more money. I was at the end of my rope and I said, you know what, I'm freaking going to go for it. So if you don't have money, that is no excuse in this day and age of why not to get started. That's actually more of a reason so that you can actually start getting income and living the life that you've always wanted to live but didn't know how. You must invest. That's massively important. And when you invest, the return that you can get on investment, if it's the right investment, okay, it is the right investment and you pick the right coach that has actually done what you want to do. That is what I would say. Then You can go from here to here as long as you believe in yourself and you put in the work. There's nothing else stopping you. It's not the money. So let's freaking go.
