Biz to six to seven figure practices and businesses. And I'm going to tell you about my journey and how it actually went. And my hope today is that you get some inspiration that anything is possible. No matter if you dream it or you know think it, it will come true. You just got to keep saying like, I can make this work. So here we go. I was working at an outpatient orthopedic place in 2020 and it wasn't until January 2020 hit I found a mentor and I was like, you know what, I'm gonna see what this guy's up to. And I took a program from him and it was so life changing. I was like, this is what I'm going to do. That Christmas before then I asked to get off of take off work to go see my family and they were like, no you can't, you have to work. Like too many people have already taken off. And that was just a big kicker to where I was like, you know what, I've got to get out of this job mentality. And so I decided then to when March hit right before COVID I literally decided to leave my job two days before COVID hit. So I put in my two weeks like the start of March and then Covid hit around like the 15th, 14th, something like that. And I already put my notice to leave. I was absolutely terrified. I was so scared. It was such a Scary moment. But it was also, like, the most relieving moment ever because I was so sick. I was so worn out. I was so tired. And I remember I couldn't drink water, like, go to the bathroom. It just was not the environment for me. And. And I knew I had to make a change, no matter if that meant me living in a tent. And so I was willing to risk it all to do that. And we just bought a house then, and I just had this house payment. After, like, 10 years of us working, we finally bought a house. And I still had student loan debt. And so I didn't know how I was gonna make ends meet. I quit my job with zero patients on my schedule. And within a month, I was able to replace my income that I was making on my outpatient orthopedic job. And I'm like, okay, cool. Like, I'm surviving. And for those that know my story or don't know my story, you know, there was things that led me to that place. I had to go stand on a trailhead where runners would run by and just scream at them and be like, hey, come over this parking lot. I'll do a movement assessment on you. Let me evaluate your running. And I was treating anyone and everyone for free that was willing to listen to me. And then I was like, okay, maybe I should start getting paid, because, you know, I need to live. And then I just started charging. But at first, no one wanted to even touch anyone because of COVID So that's how I got started. And I was mobile. I was a mobile physical therapist. I got up to, I want to say, around 30 patients mobile. It was something crazy. My back was killing me. I was hauling up that, you know, we live around D.C. so all those townhomes, the stairs, all the things, the big table, it was just horrible. And so I decided, you know what? Okay, maybe I can, like, see patients in my house now. So I started seeing patients in my house. Once I did that, I was running out of time. And then I'm like, okay, maybe I can get a floor to space. But this wasn't until September of 2020. I was like, okay, maybe I can get a space. I don't know. I'm still scared. But then I just made the jump. I got space. I got two rooms and a gym. And that was amazing because now I got my time back because I wasn't traveling to go see everyone and, like, spend time in parking lots and try to go to the bathroom and, like, Whole Foods, because, you know, I wasn't on the road, traveling as much. So that was amazing. And then I just was like, all right, it's game on. I have space. I've got to get patience. And so in 2020, going back to that, you know, I was. I made around 30k a month by myself in the fourth quarter of 2020. And that was the most I've ever made my whole entire life. I was so like, wow, what is this? You know? And I was like, okay, like, this is it. But in reality, I actually needed to start to hire because I had no time. I was working. I saw up to 50 patients, guys, 50 patients by myself with no admin and no PT for months, months and months. And I was running out of fumes. And I thought, wow, I just put myself back in the same position I was in when I worked at this outpatient orthopedic place. So then I decided when the first of the year came, I'm gonna hire an admin. So I hired an admin. Within a week later, I was like, I need a PT as well. Technically, with 50 patients, that's two full time caseloads for PTs. So I had a PT. Come on. Within two months, that PT quit, which, I mean, my pants were down. Like, I got caught with my pants down. It was horrible because I spent so much energy training this pt. And then she left to go do like a neuro job. And I was like, man, I still have this patient load and so now what am I going to do? So it took me about a month to find another pt, hired a pt, and then after that, every single, like, I would say every three months, I hired another PT and then another PT and or some kind of staff. So by the end of 2021, okay, I had seven people on staff then. And that's when we really exploded. In 2021, we had to move clinics. That's a big move. So if you guys are trying to move clinics, it's expensive and it can be just a lot to manage on top of patients. So that is something that was a really big hurdle for us. But we got past that, so that was awesome. And then in around September 21, 2021, I started really cultivating, like doing business coaching for pelvic health pts. And before that, I literally, a year before that, in 2020, in September 2020, I remember asking my mentor, hey, I really want to do business coaching. Because I was coaching my patients on how to like, leave their jobs and start their own companies. And it just was such a passion for me to cultivate that and to See these women that didn't really believe in themselves, that then as we were talking through our sessions and it's really a pelvic health session, but in reality it's like such a psychology session as well to then give them confidence in their body, but also in their ability to go out and empower themselves to like start their own company. And I was doing this and to date, you know, I've helped at least over, I would say 50 people quit their jobs and go out on their own and start their own companies. It's so empowering and it's so inspiring to see just where these people are at and then where they get to. And it's like, really, it sits with me a lot because I was in their same position, which I'll get to in a minute. But anyways, I started doing this business coaching and he was like, wait, don't start this yet. But I was kind of still doing it on the side and I didn't really make it happen happen until September 2021. I had a mastermind crew come on with me and I was doing coaching and we were getting amazing results 2, 3, 4x the revenue that they were bringing in each month with coaching. And I was just like, all right, I've got, like, this is my passion. I mean, Orthopelvic is 100% my passion as well. But I started to see that there was this other passion coming through and so I just followed it. And then in December, I created an event called Pelvibiz. And Pelvibiz is for pelvic health, PTs and OTs to help develop and grow their practices. The people that want to start their own practices and or grow their practices from where they're at if they're stuck. And I wanted to empower lots of women. And what it was and then what it was going to be and then what it actually is is like completely different than I ever thought. So Pelvis was going to be a two day event in Tampa, Florida in the first of August. Okay. But when people started to sign up for Pelviz, I was realizing these people need a lot of help and these people were in the same position as me. And a two day event, I just can't do it in that two days. Like, there's so much knowledge that I want to provide them. And so I then just started to say, you know what, let's go on group coaching calls. Let's have a voxer group. Like let's talk every single day to get you unstuck to where you're at. And it created this amazing, amazing community, something I never even knew existed. And from there we called the sisterhood. So it's like pelvic health, PTs and OTs that have come together. There was over 40 of us, and we really just cultivated this community that we could rely on on anything. And this group, it wasn't even just business coaching, it was life coaching. If we were having problems with our relationship, we would talk about that. If we were having problems with, you know, maybe an employee or maybe we were having problems with our health, we would talk about that. Maybe, you know, fertility stuff was coming up. Like, there was so many different facets that were actually coming into this group. And overall it was like life coaching for us that, you know, we really haven't had that in school. And I think that's where my passion and my drive comes from for this is because I was that girl that didn't know where to turn, that was working four jobs when I got out of PT school and, you know, couldn't pay off my loans, still, you know, still couldn't pay off my loans. Like, what the heck? And it just was the person that the deep, like, inside I'm like, you know what? I just don't want everyone to struggle the way that I did working four jobs when I got out of PT school just to make ends meet and just being so burnt out that I moved to different states because I thought that would cure my burnout. And it didn't. And I just don't want people to have to go through that. And because this path that I've been down and the journey that I've been on, I just want to continue to help people flourish and grow their practices in any way that they need. So this is where my drive comes from. And I know so many people can do it. They just have to have a big why and a want to do it. And not everyone's cut out for it, definitely. But if there is people that are wanting to explore and, like, know, like, hey, I can start a practice, or maybe I can start a practice, or maybe I'm thinking about starting a practice. This is something you can do if you're interested. Clearly you can reach out to me. But this is something that, you know, look into, look into mentorship that's actually going to help you grow your practice. It's the only way I grew my practice. So that being said, you know, Pelvi biz, we had this event. We cultivated, I cultivated this community of pelvic health, PTs and OTs, and it's truly been amazing. And now we have a mastermind with Pelvibiz. And I'm just so, so thankful for the women in this group that just, I can rely on them with anything. And we feel so comfortable with each other that I just, I couldn't be more thankful enough to have them, you know, just kind of in my circle every single day. And we get to talk every single day and solve problems, and it's just truly amazing. So, you know, that's what I currently do. I run orthopelvic. We've hired another pt.
I'm looking for another pelvic health pt.
So anyone out there that is a pelvic health PT and wants to come to Northern Virginia, please let me know. And, you know, growing pelvibiz community. So for anyone that's kind of, you know, out there thinking, man, I don't know how to do this, or I wish, like, how did this person do it? Maybe she's just lucky. No, it's because I had great mentorship and I was able to just follow a path that I had a target and I just kept on the path and my mentor kept me accountable to doing the thing and, you know, and I believed in myself. I think that's a big thing. You have to believe in yourself along this crazy, fearful journey that, hey, I don't know if I'm going to make it or I don't know, you know, how this is going to go. You just got to go with it. I never knew, I never even dreamed that pelvi biz was be a thing. And now, you know, I'm obsessed with it. I love business coaching. I just love helping especially women out and empowering them to take control of their life. Whether or not that, not that's in health, whether or not that's financially, whether or not that's emotionally just anything, like anything that they want. I just love helping so many women reach their dreams and their goals. And it's just, it's truly inspiring to see. So. So just want to come on and let you guys know, you know, kind of the journey that I've been on, you know, some of you guys are wondering, some of you guys haven't heard my story. Some of you guys have. And now Orthopelvic, you know, is doing very, very well, and Pelvibiz is also doing very well. So we're just going to continue to grow and progress forward. So that being said, if you guys are looking for business coaching. Please reach out to me Elvybiz on Instagram or I would love to hear from you. I'd love to hear your stories. I like a lot of times to get on a zoom call with people just to hear, you know, where they're at and what their problems are and how can we talk through that to help solve your problem. So if that's you, please reach out. It will be in the notes section as well. But looking forward to chatting and hopefully you guys had some great takeaways from today's session that you can do whatever you put your mind to. You just gotta dream it. Bye guys.
