In this spoken monologue, Kelly Alhooie advises clinicians and practice owners on shifting from a traditional per‑visit revenue model to higher‑leverage in‑person retreats and virtual services. She explains that a 2‑day retreat priced at $1,000 per ticket can generate $10,000 with just ten participants, whereas earning the same amount through $200 appointments would require 48 hours of patient care per week. Kelly highlights the freedom virtual work provides—allowing clinicians to work from anywhere, even while on vacation—while emphasizing that success online demands digital‑marketing skills or paid advertising on platforms like Google and Facebook. She notes many providers feel uncomfortable with marketing because it isn’t part of their clinical training, which can hinder online growth. Finally, she invites viewers to DM her @pelvibiz for personalized help.

Another thing I like to do for online is do retreats. Do retreats. So create your community online, but then bring them into an in-person event that— or like, you know, a 3-day or 2-day thing that people want to connect. This is where the trends are going. They want to connect. They want to feel connected with other like-minded people. And if you can provide that community and you charge like $1,000 per ticket, think about the difference. If you charge $1,000 per ticket and you get 10 people in your retreat in 2 days, guys, that's $10K in 2 days. Conversely, if you charge, uh, $200 a visit, you know how many clients you're gonna have to see? You're probably gonna have to see like You're probably gonna— if I— again, I'm not doing math in my head, but you're probably gonna see 12 clients a week. 12 times 4 is what? 12 times 4, you have to see probably over 50 hours of patient care. Again, I can't do math, so if you're doing math in your head and I can't do it, great. Um, 12 times— what did I say? 200 times— yeah, wow, I did really good math. That's That's amazing. So yeah, 12 clients a week. Okay, that's 12 times 4 is what? 12 times 4, that's 48 hours of patient care. Or you can do 16 hours. Which one would you prefer, 16 hours or 48 hours? You see how retreats can get you there faster to what you want? So I think again, we have to think about the stuff um, differently. Uh, the benefit to virtual is your location freedom. You do not have to be somewhere, you know, at a certain state, and you can just go wherever. Um, and you're not stuck in a treatment room. I would say that's number 2. You're not stuck in a treatment room. You can be wherever. You can get the beach, you can be at a table, wherever you want. Um, and you can help people. You can be on vacation and you pause your vacation to just like take a call and then get off and then go somewhere. So that's the benefit, I think, of virtual, and you can still make money. So, um, but the thing about it is you have to be a digital marketer, period. And I think most providers do not want to step into that role, or scared to step into that role because it's so uncomfortable, because they didn't go to school for that. They went to school to help people. And I believe that's why some of them struggle to build online, because they're basically starting from ground zero, and other people have gotten like degrees in marketing. Um, and so yeah, or you pay, you pay Google and Facebook, right? And you will pay a big penny to them. Um, if you're like, look, I'm just not willing to go and DM people, well then you gotta pay, and that's the other way to build this. So hopefully that helps, guys, give you some insight online and how to do that. If you have questions, please DM me @pelvibiz, P-E-L-V-I-B-I-Z, @pelvibiz. Say, hey Kelly, I need some help. It is me in my DMs, by the way. Um, so would love to talk then. See you guys soon. Bye-bye.
