I'm going to talk about rejection today. How to build your business based on rejection. You're like, what? Rejection? That's like completely opposite of building a business. You all have to be rejected to know what path to continue on or go down. Rejection is key to success. Rejection is the thing that we all try to avoid, but rejection is the actual thing that tells us the direction and gives us the path and gives us the actual confidence to actually go back and do it again and again and again. And at first, rejection is going to feel like no one wants you, you're doing something stupid, you're in the wrong space, that it's not going to work out. Like, rejection feels so self like. Like it gets you. And a lot of times, one little rejection, guys, I see this all the time in many of the women I coach. One little rejection throws them off the freaking rails. Like, literally throws them off the rails, where they're like, I. I'm done. Like, if. If they get a critique on, like, something or if a business owner doesn't respond back and they emailed them and they were like, hey, I wanted to see if you want to do a workshop. They don't respond back. That's rejection right there. That's rejection. And all of a sudden they're like, can't continue. Can't do this. They're rejecting me. Why does that. We should ask ourselves, why does that hurt so much? Why? Why does that hurt our soul so much? Why does that make us stop for a moment? Someone doesn't like us. Someone may say no to us. Someone is just not our vibe. Why does that scare us so much? Like, deeply ask yourself that. Why does that scare you so much? Are you someone that wants to be liked? Is that why it scares you? Are you someone that's a people pleaser and you want everyone to just like you? Are you someone that you're like, oh, no. Like, don't ever say no to me because, like, that really hurts my feelings. But then ask yourself, why does that hurt your feelings? Who cares if a gym owner is not your vibe? Who cares if no one talks like you, speaks like you, acts like you? You actually want to be different, guys. You want to be different. And I actually coach my clients. The more rejection that they get, the more successful they are. Every successful entrepreneur has had way more rejections than they've had success. Rejections are the thing that is going to 2 to 3x your success because it's a testing you. Can you handle a rejection? Can you literally handle a rejection because they're going to have so many roadblocks and so many rejections along the entrepreneur journey. So if you can't handle will just automatically cut you off of the knees and say, you're done, get in. But if you can, then there's so much more to that pathway for you and I. For me, when I first started out, it did hurt. I was like, oh my God, they said no to me. They don't want me at their gym. Like, now they hate me. But then I started to make it a game and I need you guys to do this. This is like a tactile tip. I need you to make it a game. How many no's can you get in a week? So is it from a patient telling you no? Is it from a gym telling you no? Is it from social media person that you reach out to? They're like, no, I'm not going to put you on my Instagram. Basically, the more nos that you get, the more yeses you will also get. But if you're not getting any no's, then that tells me you're not growing a business. And so rejection is the thing that we all are actually seeking, even though no one wants to be rejected. So if you can play a game with yourself, like I did and said yes, I want to make a goal that I get 10 no's a day. That means I'm probably getting like 10 yeses a day comparatively. If I made a goal of, like, I don't want anyone to reject me today, well, that means I'm probably talking to no one. So rejection is key when it comes to being able to grow a business and be able to shift the mindset of I actually want rejection. Because rejection is the thing that I'm going to start embracing so that I can grow. Because when I grow, then the company is going to grow. And I can truly say, you know, when I started Pelvibiz, no one bought at Pelvibiz. No one. Because I just launched it, put it out there like everyone else does. Put it out there. Got my website, got my funnel, said, hey, guys, Pelviz is here. Like, I'm the business coach for pelvic floor therapist. And not one person bought. I reached out to all these people, it was crickets. Not one person bought. I'm like, oh, crap, now what do I have to do? Then I'm like, okay, I'm just gonna start giving out free advice. So I just started getting out free advice, free advice, free advice. I got on over 200 free Zoom calls hour long, maybe even two hours long. And that was all rejection because no one was paying me. It was all rejection. And I would be up until, like, literally 12 o' clock at night. My husband would be sleeping. I'd be like, yes, I just talked to someone else. And I was, like, dancing and jumping around. Like, I just talked to someone else and I helped them do this. And it was, like, fulfilling for me, and I loved it. I continue to love it. Please tell me any fulfilling, like, wins that you've had from us. I would love to hear it. That does fill my soul, by the way. Huh? That is one thing that fills our soul is if you tell us you have a win from us or write us a good review or. Or actually refer another client to us. That is the number one thing that we want over money, okay? Because that actually keeps us going. Just like you guys want wins, this is what we want, okay? And so, you know, businesses are built purely out of rejection, purely out of people saying, that can't work. No, we don't do it that way. All y' all probably started your business purely out of being rejected by the healthcare system. That's why you started your business, because you were rejected by the healthcare system. So what did you do? You're like, I can do this better in a different way. So technically, if you're an entrepreneur or thinking about becoming an entrepreneur, you've already actually been rejected. May not hurt as bad as someone telling you, like, no, I don't, you know, want to hang out with you today. But truly, whether or not you realize it or not, you've actually been already rejected. So why not make it a game? That's my challenge to you guys today on this episode, is please make rejection a game, and you're going to have fun with it. And then realize, oh, my gosh, a month, two months down the road, wow, I'm actually growing something. I'm so thankful for these rejections. And for me, I use rejection as freaking fire. Like, reject the shit out of me. I will come back like a freaking lion and, like, show you. That's all. I will show you. You were here like, hey, I don't want you on my podcast. Okay, cool. Well, I'll show you why you actually need me on your podcast. Like, that's the kind of mentality, by the way. Okay, that hasn't happened. But I'm just saying, like, that's the mentality and mindset that I need y' all to get in is like, reject me. I dare you. Okay, great. Well, now it's put the fire underneath my butt to know that I need to improve upon that probably, or change what I'm doing or whatever it may be. Okay, now I'm going to come back 10 times better version of what you just witnessed. That's when you become dangerous. So for me, I use it as fire. A lot of people use it as where they shut down. But that's the difference between success and not success. Use it as your fire. Use it as the thing that's going to fuel you to do the thing and then basically say, try me. That's what I say. Try me and I'll show you. And that's the mentality. That's it. Like, that's the secret sauce. So, guys, it's okay to be rejected. Get those rejections, make it a game, have fun with it and let's grow your business. Game on.
