Should athletes eat rice or pasta before their game? Now, before games, we want carbohydrates. Carbs are going to fill up your muscles' little energy tank to allow you to have energy throughout the entire game so that you're not hitting the wall in the 4th quarter. Both pasta and rice are great sources of carbs, so it's really whichever one you prefer and whichever one you're gonna eat. Now, typically when people eat pasta, they're gonna have a super fatty sauce with it. It's Alfredo, they're gonna put butter on it, which isn't normally bad, but pregame, a super fatty sauce can make you have some digestive issues during the game. So you wanna make sure that you're keeping it Pretty light, whereas with rice, you're usually pairing it with just like some chicken or some meat, and it's going to stay a little bit less fatty, which is going to help you digest better. This versus this doesn't have a difference between the fat itself. It's just typically the foods that you pair it with. So be mindful of that. Now, if you want my pregame nutrition guide, comment game and I'll send it to you.
