#120 HELICOPTER PILOT PASSION | Day 120 Coffee With Kenny

This vlog-style YouTube video (Day 120 of 'Coffee With Kenny') documents hangar activity as a pilot named Holly prepares to depart. The speakers use on-site scenes (hangar, preflight, family at breakfast) and short anecdotes (a neighbor who loves to mow, a woman fishing daily) to emphasize a theme of passion. Kenny reflects on career changes, achieving a comfortable, self-defined form of success, and quotes Gary Vee’s simple definition of success: doing what you want, when you want, how you want, while living within your means.

Oh, man. Day 120. Holly just stuck. She's getting ready to head to the hangar, so I'm gonna head there shortly. Coffee number one. No, coffee number. Yeah, coffee number one. And what a beautiful day. There's a girl over there, I'm sure you can't see it, riding off on her bike. She's here every single day down there along the channel, fishing something out there. Not sure what she's doing. But talk about passion. The girl's down there every single day. Just takes passion, people. I hired a guy to mow my yard and he's awesome. And he showed up and he was like, I just love to mow. I mow at my full time job and then I get off and I go mow my customers and then I mow my house. He said, and then when I run out of things to do, I go mow my neighbor's yards for free. Can you believe that? It's all about passion. So I was kind of rushing around. She just text and said, hey, no big hurry because she still has some low ceilings further along her out. But there again, you know, look how nice it is here. It's beautiful here. But she's doing the check in, but she's gonna move further along the trip. So we're gonna get ready to head out there, Be you, the world will adjust. Everything is green and beautiful. Man, I love what I do.
I'm a lucky sob. I'm here.
Rotor broom.
Man, you have such a nice shop here. So I'm pretty sure it's day 120, I believe. UPDATE from the hogs hanger. Holly's getting ready to take off. The majority of our route has cleared. It's beautiful out here. As you saw before I left home, just went, had a nice meal. My daughter's here with us today. So we went and had a nice meal. She's putting together some last minute details. Aircraft's all pre flighted, getting ready to go outside. So we'll give you a little shot of outside here shortly. But just wanted to tell you she's getting ready to head out. A lot of people said, hey, can you get some footage of her leaving? So we'll get. Maybe we'll shoot a little bit of turbine wind up there because everybody loves that sound. Give her, get her a shot. Flying away. And I just told her, you know, at breakfast. Today is about passion. I talked about the. I love the story about my mowing guy and the girl going down every single morning, riding her bike down and hitting the channel. For whatever it is she's doing. You know, it is truly about passion. I have passion for what we do. Holly has passion. And any of you out there, you just gotta have passion. And regardless of where your helicopter career takes you, it can go so many different directions, whether you're a private pilot or you're gonna do this for a living. And don't worry if your dream changes. Just like my dream changed, you know, as a kid, I want to fly Jet Ranger. You know, watching that movie Blue Thunder when I was a kid and seeing cops in LA flying helicopters for the police, I thought that was cool. But my dream changed, right? And there's nothing wrong with that. It's awesome. Won't normally be here on a Sunday, but this special day here to help Holly get on her way. And I just was telling Holly at lunch, I said, have you ever heard of Gary Vee? And she didn't know Gary Vee. Many of you will know who Gary Vee is. And he recently said in a short video, he was asked, what is success? And he said, it's easy. Very simply, doing what you want when you want, and doing it how you want to do it, and living with your means, within your means. And I said, you know what? I now have success. For a few years, Brian's been telling me, dude, you're already successful. You just don't know it. And at this point, you know, I am within my means. This is a beautiful hangar, but it made sense financially, and I have a home and a decent vehicle, and I live within my means. It's through the passion and a lifetime of work I could be at this point, and any of you out there can get there as well. It's about doing what we want to do and doing it when we want to do it. It's taken me to later in life to get to that point.
Right?
I've had to work for other people throughout my career. I've had businesses. It just so happens that now I finally hit the sweet spot where I have everything I need, and it's absolutely wonderful. Keep the dream alive. People go for your passion. That's all it takes, is passion.
It's.
