150 Hours and Still No Rating? V.I.P. Final Approach Course Returns!

So we're excited, we're bringing back the FAC course. So I have two guys ready to come up, finish their rating. Same old story, they're flying with an R44 and they're flying with the structures of people that they like but they're having trouble lining up the checkride and that seems to be a problem in a lot of places. Lack of DPEs, I guess, lack of scheduling. Brian Rutledge, our operations manager, he works out in California and they send their pilots clear to Oregon from California for checkrides because they're so booked in his area of California.

This happens more times than you may think. We have a remedy, remedy for that called the final approach course. We've brought it back for 2024. Our aircraft is finished getting ready to come back home and we have one VIP spot available for the spring of 2024 and our VIP FAC we're bringing back originated two years ago. And this VIP package we are going to pick you up at either the south bend of the Fort Wayne airport. We're going to give you a courtesy car, we're going to pay for your hotel, we're going to provide lunch every day. We're going to provide the aircraft time based on 10 hours which would be 8 hours of prep and then 2 hours for the day of the checkride planned on a Monday through Friday type of situation. Everything is taken care of for you. We'll also include three 90 minute Zoom sessions with you before you arrive so we can cover what you've been doing, where you're at, what you scoring, your written or do you need to get those finished up, do some one on one ground so by the time you arrive we already got to know each other. I know where your ground school's at, I know where you may have, you know, need some extra attention. If you're not a pro member, we'll give you pro pilot course. So any membership or, I'm sorry, any rating that you're going for, you'll have the online course that go through and we can with through progress tracking make sure that you've gone through all the videos, have all the knowledge that you need before you get here. We set you up with our examiner I've been working with for 23 years, get you on on the plane and send you back home with your new.

Rating so that's what we got going on. We're also going to do some one day packages like a discovery package. You come and spend six hours with us to do two flights, have lunch. We're going to offer some time building. I did get renters insurance. So yes, if you're a rated pilot, I can rent to you after a checkout with us. And then we're going to offer some time building packages. So if you need 5 hours, you need 10 hours for the SFAR requirements, you'll be able to come out. We'll block the schedule for you. Anybody that comes, the schedule gets blocked. We're not going to do the traditional bob at 5 Marriott 2 the next day, Joe at 4. When you come, you got the schedule. You have the helicopter for a day or you have the helicopter for two days or you have the helicopter for three days. Whatever the case is, we block it off for you.

This is something you got to get on and you got to do it because we want you wrapped up and out of here before April 20th. And it's because we have other things planned, other things happening.
