And that's an old story. I've beat that story to death. But basically, when I started doing this online thing, I learned from mentors and gurus, people I watched on the Internet, and I used all their free stuff for years. And all of the top people that I've learned from, I ended up buying courses later basically just so I could come to California and meet them. And I have. I've met the key people, all of them that were instrumental in helping me learn how to do audio, video, you know, build online sites and do everything I do online. Most everybody's from Southern California. That's the way it works. Most of them, all of them are down, usually down the San Diego area. And I've since. I've since met all of them, and it's been awesome. And the one in particular I could think of, you know, when I showed up, she goes around the room and I went. It was like a beginner course for online entrepreneurs. When she goes around the room and has everybody state who they are. And this was a beginner class, right? And I'd already, you know, this was just a couple years ago that I went when I actually, we had made some really good traction with online ground school. And we go around the room, and when she got to me, I stood up and you're supposed to say within a minute or two, you know why you're here. And when I got done, she's like, okay, everybody in the room, you don't want to talk to this guy on a break. And she came over to me on break, she goes, kenny, this is kind of a beginner class. Why are you here? I said, well, I bought your course and I paid the little extra money to come visit this one day school with you because I just wanted to meet you personally and thank you for helping me do what I do. And of course she was very flattered. And I've done that now with all the people that I learned from. In the beginning I couldn't afford their courses because they were too much money. Then I went back later and bought their courses, so. And I never would. And I wouldn't even had to do that. Why am I telling that story? I don't know. Because I'm just thankful for the people that I learned from. Back when I started this as a dream and a vision. Knowing that there was a need for an online helicopter training course to help people learn the knowledge. I say it all the time, it's 75% knowledge, 25% learning to fly the helicopter. That's it. The struggle is the information, the struggle is the learning. The struggle is the knowledge. If you have the knowledge, then things go easy in the aircraft. If you try to do it the other way around, it just doesn't work. And you know, growing up in this industry, realizing that everything that was out there online or at that time, you know, on DVD or whatever, DVDs are kind of, you know, becoming by the wayside now. But it was all stuff for airplanes. Nothing against airplanes, but as helicopter guys, you know, we want helicopter specific training and that's why I built it. And in the beginning, you know, it was pretty tough and there was a lot of times that I thought about giving up and there was only a couple of key people that ever really said, oh, just keep going. Most people said, dude, why don't you give up and just forget it and get a real job, it's never going to work out. And I just had that die hard mentality of I'm going to do it, I'm going to make it, I'm going to make it work. And you know, just like the helicopter ratings that you may be chasing and why you're following this channel, you know, it is about going for your dreams and anybody that achieves anything great. It was never easy, it was never free. I don't care who you are. And you and people hear of overnight success and you know, I've heard gurus say, you know, the average overnight success took, you know, eight to 17 years. You know, there was eight to 17 years of work this person did behind the scenes before all of a sudden they got discovered and some piece of content they do goes viral or they're, they get a hit song or their book goes, you know, number one or whatever the case is. Anybody that's successful worked their frickin tell off to get There. And I'm a firm believer in that. I'm living proof. Those of you chasing the helicopter dream, you got to stay after it. You just got to stay after it. You got to keep going, no matter what the cost and the headache and heartache because you'll get there. And the other thing's been on my mind this trip that I want to relay before I get off of just going on and on here, my daughter's inside her. She'd be out here going, dad, wrap it up. You know, your dream can change along the way. And this trip, I got to go up with CHP and fly around and see firsthand and actually get involved in looking for a suspect who stole a car and fled. And I got to see firsthand the equipment in the helicopter and what they use. And I was completely blown away. Right? And this is why some of these things you can't share because, you know, they don't want the general public to really know exactly what they do have, right? And it all. I can say it was amazing. And they caught this individual while we were in the air going around and around. And, you know, my original dream was to fly for law enforcement, and it was never to fly ems, which I did and I did for five years, and it was great. But my path ended up where I'm at now, and I freaking love what I do. So the dream started for me many, many, many years ago to fly law enforcement in California. That was my dream. And even though that dream didn't happen, my dream took a different. Took a different route. I never really set out to be the ground guy. Wasn't. Wasn't really ever in the works. It just happened and started making videos to promote my helicopter company that was going down the tubes and then start this online thing. And I've told all those stories in the past. I'm not going to bore you with all that right now. But I just got to say what it is. No matter what it is you're working for, keep after it. You never freaking give up. Nothing good is easy. Nothing good is free. I was watching Gary Vee the other day. I'm sure many of you watch Gary Vee, and I love listening to Gary Vee. And he was talking to a whole auditorium full of people, and he's like, there isn't any one of you in this whole auditorium. Not anyone, not any one of you, not anyone of. Not any. Not any single person knows someone who is successful that didn't work their ass off to get it, you know? And I believe that right there is no overnight success. Success comes from hard work and putting your nose to the grindstone and just going for your dreams and never giving up. Never give up. And I don't care how old you are. We've inspired so many people, and this is amazing to me. I consistently just reminded of how lucky I am and how cool this is that we've been able to touch so many people, old and young, you know, inspiring people in their 70s to finish a rating or start to dream, or some kid out of high school wanting to become a helicopter pilot, helping them along the way, and then everybody in between, you know, helicopter pilots come from all walks of life, all areas of the. Of the world, personalities of every single type. They're usually a little bit crazy because most all of us are that want to fly helicopters. There's got to be some. Something inside of you that's probably a little bit different than the average person, because why would anybody want to fly the things? Well, you want to fly them because they're the coolest machine on the planet anyway. God, I could go on and on. I just had to take a moment to really reflect on this trip. And when I was talking to the CHP guys about, you know, well, you know, at least I got to go up with you guys and. And see you do it firsthand. So I got. I tasted. Got a little taste of my dream, right? And he said. He goes, hey, you know, but look what it. Look what it did. Your videos got you here to California. It got you invited here to go up with us.
