Short YouTube clip (Day 248) in which Kenny Keller interviews Gloria immediately after she passed a driving retest. Gloria, age 16, had failed previously and credits controlled breathing (‘breathe in and out’) as the key technique that helped her calm down during the examiner’s road test; the examiner even commented that she was breathing this time. The clip ends with congratulations and a typical YouTube call-to-action (like/subscribe/comment).

All right, here we go.
Here's our one opportunity. Day 248. Gloria never, ever lets me get on camera. She just passed after retesting after failure. And I mentioned that, you know, I went through all the prep talk and trying to think of all the things to calm her down and prep her to retest. We just walked out of BMV and she just told me the one thing she did to get through that she thought was the biggest.
What was it, Gloria? Breathe, Breathe. We talked about that ahead of time and how we talk about in the helicopter when somebody's struggling and they're. And they're having trouble. I look over and they're not breathing. And I gave her that speech today, and she said that was the biggest thing that helped her get through. And even the. Her examiner, driver examiner, when we walked up to the door, you know, everybody was smiling this time around. And he said. What did he say? He said, you. You were breathing this time or something. Anyway, he brought that up. And so I thought as the test.
Guy, he asked if I was the one he had told to breathe.
That's right. That's right. She said no. So there you go with all the.
Tips we talk about.
The one of them is breathe, breathe in and out. And people do it when they're hovering or they're screwing up on an approach and they get nervous and, you know, so when you're doing through testing, breathe.
Breathe, in and out.
So there you go. Special treat for today. Gloria actually on camera speaking.
So many of you know her from.
When she was this tall.
And here she is, 16 and now able to drive.
So congratulations.
Thank you.
