His instructor just climbed out. Check this out. One of our ground school members shared this video with me. It's on YouTube. I'll put the link down below. His instructor is walking away. You can just see him there on the edge. This is cool. 71 years old, Soleno Cadbury working on his private pilot. How freaking cool is that? Again, I'll put the link down below. So if you want to check out the entire video on YouTube. This is day 249. And I just want to share this today because I thought, how cool is that? You know, with all the stories and things we've been sharing lately with people working on their ratings. 50s, 60s. Here's a guy, 70 year, 71 years old, out soloing the Cadbury, and he is one of our helicopter ground school members. And I just wanted to share with you a couple things that he said. He said, I'm 71. Been working on my private pilot ticket with The Cadbury since August 2018. Got a lot of things going on. Now finishing up 18 hours mandatory before flight test. Have soloed about 18 hours and passed the written. Okay, that's awesome. So that was his first email. And then I made a comment to him, you know, thanks for sharing that information. And I told him, he sent me another email and he's like, happy to share. It's been a lifelong dream. Because I told him I wanted to share this video because he'd shared the video with me. So I wanted to share with all of you, right? And he said, happy to share. It's been a lifelong dream. Tomorrow, auto training flight at 0830 with Cabri. Do you know what cabri means? He says, and I don't. I've never heard this, but this is kind of neat. It's an acronym. He says it stands for comfort in auto rotation because rotor inertia. Awesome. Hey, if that's the case, that's a cool. That's cool, cool acronym. So I just wanted to share this today. Success of a member out there at 71 years old, solo on a freaking helicopter, working on a private rating. How cool is that? It's just cool, man. It's just cool. So I am Kenny Keller, creator, helicopter on land ground School, day 249 of our daily videos. Or we talk about helicopter training, all kinds of stuff. Some days it's just celebrations like this. I love sharing these stories. And people, of course, are excited when they share their successes, their solos, their ratings. You know, our HOGS Wall of fame keeps growing. New studio. I'm getting ready to show you that in the next day or two, got all my new trusses up, got all the lights up, doing some wiring, now wiring up some different camera mounts. It's freaking cool and exciting. So many awesome stories coming in from people. So he uses the training, loves it, he said. He also made a comment that your site helps me review in English with videos. I like that. And I've had quite a few other people, members from out of the country, from out of the US that tell me the helicopter laying around school videos not only help them learn the ground knowledge, it also helped them learn the English language, which, you know, how cool is that? I mean that's just so neat. I know that my instructor, still one of my best friends, one of my first instructors was from Germany and when he came over he was learning the English language language while he was learning to fly helicopters, you know, and so it's. It's nice to know that through helicopter land ground school that we're not only, only just helping people learn the knowledge, that we're helping them learn the English language too. How cool is that? I think it's just freaking awesome. Alright, I'm gonna wrap it up because I wanted to share Pierre's video with you today. That's about 12 minute long video.
