Kenny Keller introduces a new mobile app for Helicopter Online Ground School (HOGS). Creators explain that the app (available for Android and iOS) will contain the same content as HOGS with automatic updates, email-based login (no passwords required), push notifications for announcements and mentions, and support for communities and interactivity so students can consume content on the go.

We're just days away from our new mobile app and I want to give you a few of the details, but I want you to hear just a few words from the creators. These are the same creators of Helicopter Online Ground School, so the app is made by the same people, so all the same content will be automatically in the app. Anything gets updated in Helicopter Line Ground School, it gets updated in the app. So it's all the same content. Nothing will be different other than you'll be able to log in with an icon and you'll be able to download this for both Android and iOS, so it's going to be really cool. So I want you to hear a little bit from the creators.
We'll show that now your universe in your customer's pockets, whether it's learning or participating, community or commenting or socializing, that's all inside of our pockets right now. It's on our phones. And so we really wanted to meet the consumer, where they were at by providing that experience out of the box for our customers. And we didn't want to have to tell our customers, hey, go pay a bunch of money to have your own app and have it be kind of janky. And it's going to take you a lot of time and effort and money to make this a good experience. We really wanted to say out of the box, this experience is going to come straight to your customers and it's gonna work.
We were noticing that a lot of our customers were talking about the fact that their students like to consume their content on the go. And requiring them to sit down behind a computer in order to really experience their content was really limiting. And we wanna make sure that everything that you do is tailored towards your customers and keeping you in full control.
It's a nice feature, It's a nice benefit to our clients that we can say, hey, look, you can now show this to people and they can watch your courses on mobile.
I think we're offering inside of a mobile experience. It goes beyond just online courses, but it goes into things like communities and interactivity and really building your empire and your library here so your customers get to see you through the application. I think that it's just so seamless to set up. So I think our customers are going to be really, really surprised when they get set up on the mobile app and they're like, that's it.
It's based off of your email. And so as long as you know what your email is and you have access to it, that's all you need. You don't need anything else. You don't need passwords. It's designed around that so it makes life very easy to log in and use.
Less setup required. It's really just a streamlined experience that their customers can jump right into.
The nice thing about how push notifications work is that from day one, the minute you download the app, if you make a new announcement, they'll see a push notification. They'll say, new announcement, you know, hey, check out my new announcement. Whatever you type, you know, our customers are controlling it. So they can control what the title is, what the body that's coming out. They get that notification and so they're getting notifications for mentions, for applies, all those things like that. So it's a really nice way to.
Get your customers experience where your customers will be able to dive in and experience your content just straight from their phones. So we're really excited to share it.
So this is really huge. It's going to be cool because you can already access helicopter Lane ground school from any device. But with the mobile app, the difference will be you'll have an icon right there on your phone that you can just click on and all you have to do is click on it. Once you have it set up, you won't even have to enter a password, which is going to be awesome, right? So the content is going to be the same. Everything will be updated from one to the other. There is no cost to you. The app will be free. So you're already a ground school member. As soon as the app is ready, I'll make an announcement that it's ready to go. And from what I understand, you'll log into helicopter and ground school and you'll get a notification to download the app. And once you log in, that's it, you're done. So there's going to be a lot more coming. They kind of still didn't give us exactly all the details, but it sure sounds like it's going to be pretty awesome. It is up and ready to be launched and they said there are other things that are going to be added to it later on. So I know you're going to have a lot of questions, but we'll just have to see how it goes as they come out. That's about all I know right now is it's ready. Within a few days we'll be making an announcement, so we'll be sure and update you as things progress. So, good news, great way to start out. November, the big Halloween sells over with time to get back to day to day operations and continue on.
