Kenny Keller (YouTube) reports three successful commercial helicopter check rides completed last week (Caleb — Kentucky; Roman — Ohio; Chris — Illinois) and announces a May-only time-builder special: a 10-hour block in the R44 for pilots who already have PIC sign-off and need hours for insurance or instructor sign-off. Booking is first-come, first-served; pilots must secure payment and documentation, complete a short Zoom ground session, and fly to verify proficiency before using the hours. Keller notes the examiner now uses the ACS, the R44 is on a 13-month lease, and provides a scheduling contact (Heather). He also recommends HOGS for ground-school preparation.

Okay. It says we're live big week last week. We did three commercial check rides last week. I don't think I've ever done three check rides in one week ever. I don't think so. We had three successful commercial check rides last week. We had one gentleman from Kentucky, one from Ohio and one from Illinois. So surrounding states came in for commercial check rides. Got those got finished up. We have another one coming for mid month. This month. Yeah, mid month. So this month I'm going to offer a time builder special. 10 hours in the R44. Now this is for somebody who's already qualified. You've already got a pic sign off and you need to get 10 hours. Whether it's for insurance or it's for your R44 instructor sign off, whatever the case may be. The trick is you got to use it in May. So I just came up with this. I've got some other things I want to do this month other than the commercial checkride that I have to do. I have commercial checkride this month and then a CFI checkride guy will be here the end of May for the beginning of June checkride. So I'm not really going to have any time to work any other check rides in. Maybe if you want to go along with somebody. We did do. These three guys were all here at once last week. And so we were doing ground and I was doing ground times three while I had an instructor here for a short time doing the flying for me. And I was just hammering ground. One guy be flying, the other two be sitting there doing ground. And at times we had all three of them. And that actually worked out pretty well. The guys worked good together and they feed off of each other really well. And I found that pretty interesting that they could actually feed on each other. And everything we've been doing in the past couple years, two or three years, just been one on one, one on one. And it just so happened we had three guys to try to get them done real quick and they all agreed to work with each other. And I remembered back in the day that's how we used to do it back in the day. I would always send two at a time. And we moved away from that. So we moved back to it. Clarence Watson. Kenny. What's up? Sweet spiky hair. Yeah, I didn't feel like throwing any spiky stuff in today, letting it grow a little bit just for the hell of it and just letting it kind of do whatever. So the time. Back to the time builder special. You got to use the 10 hours this month, it has to. You have to get on first come, first serve, secure your money, send us your documents. I need to verify that you're qualified and you have the proper sign offs. I'll do a little ground with you before you get to here, get here over zoom and then of course I'll need to go out with you and do a flight, make sure you're good to go and make sure you're capable, make sure everything's good to go. But with our insurance policy, we can do whatever we want. We can rent, we can solo. We don't have that restriction with the policy here. So congratulations to Caleb from Kentucky on a commercial rating. Roman from Ohio on a commercial rating. Chris from Illinois on his commercial rating. Got all three of those done. Like I said, we got two more coming up, so if you have any questions, you want to try to get some flying in, try to get a check right done here in the immediate future, you can reach out to Heather at 574-767-1797 because I want to sell that 10 hour block for May. You got to get on the schedule, you got to get it secured and get out here and fly it before the end of the month. That's the trick. It's a lease aircraft. We are going to keep it. Now, we decided to. We've made our full year, so we're now into 13, the 13th month with this R44, and we're going to keep it around. With everything else I got going on, I'm gonna have about 10 hours on the lease and I want to burn those hours up because I got to pay for it. I got to pay for the insurance, I got to pay for the maintenance, Got to make the lease payment. So that's the latest reach out to Heather 574-767-1797. You want to get a check right in. And man, I gotta tell you, if you're struggling with the ground school, sign up for hogs. All these guys said they were good. Everybody tells you, oh yeah, my ground's good. I just need a checkride and I usually jump on a zoom with people before they get here and I usually poke holes in your ground like boom, boom, boom. Right off the bat. Our examiner is fair. He's very fair and very well respected, but he's not easy either. And you have to know the knowledge. And another little trick here, our examiner is using the ACS now, that's what those three check rides were done. We prepped with the pts, but he said we're using the acs, basically, essentially the same checkride, so it wasn't a problem. So directly from our examiner, he is using it now, but also said not really a lot has changed, that they've given, you know, some leeway on some different things, but we're using it now and that's what we're training to. So congratulations to those guys. Again, reach out to Hogs member support 574-767-1797. If you want to come out, get some flying done, do it now, jump on board because the time will go fast. All right, peace out. See you next video.
