Hello, I'm Kenny Keller, the creator of Helicopter Online Ground School, and I want to give you instructors a little tip on the CFI online renewal. I just have my renewal certificate right here in my hand. I just did this online. I did it with American Flyers, and I'm pretty impressed with it. It didn't take more than an afternoon to complete the online refresher. And then as soon as you're done, you submit the paperwork and there's I think, a 25 fee. And then they do it online for you. And after they approve it, after you've done your iacra, they send you an email when it's ready to go, and boom, there's your certificate. No trip to the Fizdo, you know, no hassle. And I was just kind of excited about it. I wanted to relay the story because I've done, you know, the different ways of renewing my cfi. I've done it off activity. I did that for quite a few years. And then one year I missed it and I had the activity, but I didn't get into the FAA on time, so I had to go take another check ride. And then two years ago, I used the King Schools as a for the online refresher, but I did it on the last day or next to the last day of the month. Didn't have time to go through the online paperwork, so I had to go actually go to the Physto and renew it. This time I did it three days in advance, and that's all they need. If you complete the online refresher three days in advance, you can get the paperwork and you can have your certificate prior to the end of the month. They just say three days to make sure that it gets processed. The only other thing that I want to say that I think is the big tip. I used the Kings. The Kings and the American Flyers were pretty much comparable in the length of time. And you read through the information, take a short quiz, they were both very similar. But what's cool about American Flyers? You pay one time and it's good for life. It's good to keep renewing every two years. With Kings, it's you pay each time, every two years. When you want to renew, you got to pay again. So both of them being about the same thing, seems like the better deal would be the American Flyers. That's just my opinion. Again, I paid once, just went through it. And I just wanted to relay that to those of you that might be sweating it in the. In your month of renewal online. If you don't have the activity, this is the way to go. So like and share this video with your instructor friends.
