This short YouTube video (creator: Kenny Keller) announces that their Final Approach Courses (FAC) — previously run in the R44 for the past 1.5 years — will now also be offered in the R22 following arrival of a newly acquired R22. The channel has run 16 FACs to date and displays past FAC customers on a “HOGS wall of fame.” Kenny and others give a quick first impression of the R22 (older airframe but good condition) and direct interested pilots to contact Heather at HOGS member support (574-767-1797) to schedule FACs or finisher ratings in either the R22 or R44.

So R22 has arrived. We'll take a closer look at that, give you our first impression here in just a minute. But we've been doing these final approach courses now for a year and a half. And you can see up here on the HOGS wall of fame. Specifically this screen has got our past FAC customers rolling up on the screen after the instrument pilots. But we've got private instrument, commercial and cfi. These are all our members that have done checkrides with us.
So we've been doing them all in.
The R44 the last year and a half. We've done 16 of them now.
So now we have the same offer in R22.
So a lot of people for their.
Specific reasons are flying R44.
But of course we know there's even more people flying R22. So this just arrived and is available.
Here at Hogs first impression. Nice little helicopter. It's older but we give it a good look over. Paint looks good, interior looks good. I haven't flown it yet, but the guys that brought it in said it flies just fine. Flies really nice and have the local mechanic take a good look at it and check it out.
