Are you learning to fly helicopters and struggling with the radio once you get in there? And talking, using the radio and talking at the same time? I feel your pain. When I first got in helicopters, I had experience from law enforcement, fire department, towing service, being on radios all the time. But then I would climb in the helicopter and I couldn't talk. Didn't make any sense with all the experience I had with radios and being on a radio. But then I got in a helicopter and I couldn't do it and I was intimidated. Kind of silly. With experience you get better. So we created this free radio course with tips and tricks and just things to help you along the way. I'm going to share some of the things that I learned mainly from a Vietnam era veteran pilot. When I was a new instructor and I went to complicated airspace as a new job and I didn't have much of much experience with the more complicated airspace with control towers and glass bravos. And he taught me some good tips to help me get over those early on feelings of not wanting to talk to the tower and being scared to use the radio. So it's a free course. It gives you an idea of how our site works. Helicopter Online Ground School I am Kenny Keller, creator of Helicopter Ground School. Back here you see our HOGS Wall of fame. These are rolling back here. These are our private pilots, commercial pilots, instrument pilots and certified flight instructors. This wall was full of pictures and we couldn't go any farther. So one of our members was here to do what we call final approach course, fly with us in the R44 and finish up his rating. And he goes, why don't you make it a digital wall? And I went, that's a grand idea. So when you pass a checkride, we send you a HOGS no go button and put you up on the HOGS Wall of fame. So go ahead and sign up for the free course. It's free, so nothing to lose. It doesn't cost you a thing. Get inside, sign up and start consuming the information and let us know what you think and we'll see you in the next video. When you feel the pressure to fly, but know the right decision is to stay on the ground, hit the HOGS no go and live to fly another helicopterground Com.
