I'm recording. You got your little red light? Yep. Awesome. All right, that's all we need. Okay, so we're ready to go. That's the worst part. The shakiest parts, like when you're sitting here right now getting stuff off the ground. So take some of that shake away. Whoa. Easy there, big boy. All right, warning caution lights are out. Gauges green. All looking good. Like we're good to go. So until we do the auto, you can just kind of. Yeah, you can just kind of look around outside. So they can. Like we might go to that shot depending. All right, and we're gonna go right about now. Alrighty. Hey, it's Kenny with helicopter on ground school. Heather running cameras. Today we're gonna go out and just do some fun flying. Talk about something kind of cool. And we're gonna shoot some autos just for fun. And we'll let. Camera. I'm gonna have Heather put the camera on the panel again today. The last time we did auto rotations was a couple weeks ago. And Heather did it handheld. And also the sunshine that day just made it really tough. It didn't come out real well. So we went out and did a little test time around the pattern. So we're going to use something safe with the crosswind, but still where we think the video will be the best for the panel. So you can see what the RPM is doing, what the airspeed's doing during an auto rotation. I've done a lot of auto rotation videos. I've just never had a good shot of the panel. And while I'm getting set up for that, I'm going to tell you about something. You know, current events. I watch the news every single day.
Uniform will be entering a 45 left downwind for 29, both counting as of today.
We have 14 days left of the self quarantine that they've asked for and the, you know, things shutting down and it's all about keeping people separated, which I think is a good thing. Right. We kicked this virus in the butt by people staying home, doing what they got to do at home, you know, trying to work from home. A lot of things going on, but we're going to be okay, especially if we listen the next 14 days.
There's 14 days left, turning left crosswind, 29er Rochester.
And I want to go along with what everybody else is doing and say, you know what, we're going to bring back the cell for the rest of the month. And I thought about it real hard. And then I asked Heather about it and I talked to Brian about it and they said, you know what, let's do it. We want to give people the opportunity that missed the cell. Heather can verify people, email, man, I missed a sale. I missed a cell. And not only that, we want to give back too, right? And people are gonna be home for the next couple weeks. So we bring back the 50% to the end of the month that gets people if you're home.
Rochester, Fulton County 6 Lean Malema departing the area to the south. Rochester.
It gives you the opportunity to get on, do some studying, like the private pilot monthly. That's only $29.50 for a month of training. So, you know, if you just want to be a rusty pilot, you just wanted the refresher or you want to jump on that big professional pilot package that does good for us to offer that discount to the end of the month people are home, helps ground school keep moving forward. And we're doing a service and helping people at the same time. And it comes back with a. Comes with a 30 day money back guarantee. So, you know, I talked to Brian, I goes, is this, you know, too cheesy if I bring it back? And Heather and Brian both said, no, it's not. It's you're doing your doing her part or hog's doing their part to help people out. All right, so let's do an auto rotation. So Heather, if you want to put the camera down there so they can see what's going on, mainly airspeed and RPMs, what you're going to be wanting to look at. So we'll get you a good shot here. I like to enter just above 70.
Fulton county traffic. Skyhawk 1395 uniform is entering 45 downwind. 429, Colton County.
And I'm just shooting to the taxiway. Stay clear of the Runway in case any airplanes come out wanting you to do left traffic from the Runway, clear about 70. So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to go 1, 2, 3, enter collective down right pedal, half cyclic. Now I'm looking outside, looking. That's okay. Just do the best you can. Heather. Looking at speed. I'm looking at rpm. I'm looking back outside. Most of our time needs to be spent outside. Air speed's about 65, 70. Good. RPM is bottom of the green. That's where I like it. It's beautiful. I'm going to keep this going. Keep it going, Keep it going about treetop level. I'm going to start a gentle flare and then make it Bigger, bigger, bigger, bigger, bigger. Then I'm going to roll on power. And there we go. Hopefully that's pretty good left handed there. Did it get too janky? All right, we'll go around, do it again. We'll do it again. So soon I go back in the hangar, we're going to edit this up and I'll build the code again. That expired on the 15th. KK50 for 50% off. That's where for any of the monthly memberships, your first month you get 50% off. And same for the big professional pilot package. And yes, they all come with 30 day money back guarantee. All you need is that code. Put it in the coupon box when you go to check out and it'll show you the discounted price. And we feel good about it, man. That's what I want to do. I want to get out there, we want to keep things rolling forward, help people. And that's another big news. I hadn't even told Heather this yet because I just came in right before we pulled the helicopter out. Brian's retiring early and he starts Monday. He was going to do another week and he's like, you know what, I'm so excited. Can't stand it. Like, okay, when you start, he goes, Monday. I'm like, you're serious? He's like, no, dude. Monday morning. So Brian relish first day full time with helicopter school is Monday. This is what, the 17th? So this coming Monday, Brian will be full time. And we talked about something last night. One of the people I watch, one of the gurus in marketing, he's like, hey, I'm doing a two week bunker coronavirus bunker buster. And he said, I'm gonna go live three times a week.
Skyhawk 1395 uniform is base for two nine, full count.
And this guy like me, you know, he has customers, he's like, I'm gonna go live three times a week and I'm gonna give you a quick survey, tell us, you know, what kind of things you want guys want to work on marketing wise, right? And he goes, we're gonna go live three times a week. So I talked to Brian and we're gonna do that next week and the following week we're gonna go live, you know, try to go live two or three times a week and come up something cool, you know, to do some teaching and training.
So if you are home, 1395 uniform is on final. 429, Polk county, man, Polk County's busy today.
Geez, for sure. So anyway, we're going to come up with something fun in the next couple weeks. Like we've been doing. The people people enjoyed the. The trivia we were doing. Maybe we'll bring back a couple days of trivia. And Brian's got some ideas with some flashcards that he made for all of his ratings. Private commercial, cfi. And I've been telling you people, he's so freaking detailed. Last night, I'm at home and he's asking me questions on the phone, right? Going, yeah, that's partially right answer. But did you know this, this and this? And I'm going, jesus, Brian, you're hammering me. But it's good stuff, right? It's a lot of things that we don't always think about and that a lot of CFIs don't even teach that they probably should be teaching. So we're going to come up with some cool stuff to do the next two weeks. Like I said, Brian will be involved because he starts Monday full time. So it's just going to be a big, big game changer. And so the next two weeks, look for specials. We'll do some giveaways. We didn't do as many live things last week just because the world was kind of going crazy and we didn't go live every day. Heather was out sick part of the week. So we got a whole bunch of T shirts that we didn't give away last week. So you know what? Bring them back to sell. We'll do some fun stuff the next couple weeks, and that gives us a good opportunity to do some more giveaways. We want to get you logging in. Let's do some training. People stuck at home log in, compete with each other for prizes, and test your knowledge. So we're gonna do another auto rotation here. So I'll let Heather start getting kind of tuned in here. And I'm just shooting for the taxiway. And again on auto rotation. Good setup makes a good auto. And pro practice autos, not real world autos. Practice autos. So we're focusing on inside, outside, inside, outside, outside at your spot. Inside at airspeed, outside, back inside to rpm, outside, back inside to trim. So I'm gonna go and put that RPM back up just a hair. And I'm gonna go, 1, 2, 3, enter. Collective down, right pedal. A little bit of F. Cyclic. Nice. My speed's right on 70. I'm holding everything. I'm not moving a thing. I'm looking outside, back in at airspeed. Looks good. Back outside, back in at rpm, Back outside, back inside. My trim looks good. I'm Looking for treetop level. Here it comes about there. Start it gentle. Make it bigger. Make it bigger. Bigger, bigger, bigger, bigger. Level it out. Roll in some power. Raise the collective. There we go. That's pretty nice. I like that one. Yeah, that was so much damn fun. Let's go do one more. What do you think? A little better holding it with my right hand. Good. Hope we're getting you some good view there. So pre takeoff checks. Warning, caution lights are out. Gauges in the green. My switches are on, my boost pump's on. Everything looks good. We're doing a 180 this time, and Heather's done a 180 before. You'll remember it's that 180. We enter and we do a full 180 turn, come back to the taxiway. So one more time, KK50 off. We're going to do 50% off all the monthly memberships. We're not bringing back that unlimited for the private commercial cfi. We're going to leave that dead for now. But you can get 50% off any monthly membership the first month, and then after that, you can keep the training or you can Cancel before the 30 days and you're not billed again, and, you know, you just need a refresher. Great. Or if you want to stay, then it goes back to full price. And you're welcome to stay as long as you like. Cancel anytime, leave any time, come back at any time, all with a 100% money back guarantee. We love what we do. We make a living at it. We have fun with it. And Brian is so freaking excited. After flying for Sheriff's Department for 15 years, Sheriff Deputy for 25 years, Aviator 30 years, you would think he'd be wanting to stay doing what he's doing, right? Flying a UE and flying a Eurocopter and all that. But he's like, dude, I'm just done. I'm ready to be done, and I want to do this. And he's got so many fricking ideas for the things he wants to put in ground school. A lot of it's going to be downloadable stuff. He's big on downloads, and that's cool. I like that he's got so much stuff. He goes, dude, you don't even have a clue what I have. And I could guess. But anyway, it's going to be a lot of really nice stuff added to ground school. All right? So if you want to start getting ready here, Heather, I'm going to get over closer to the Runway or taxiway. I'm Shooting back the taxiway. Just do the best you can. They'll understand. This is a for fun video. Just giving you the opportunity to see the instrument panel. It's practice for me. It's fun. And so, yeah, on a 180 auto, I want to make sure I take plenty of time to get ready. If I don't like it, I won't enter it. I'll enter it down collective right pedal aft cyclic. Start my right hand turn. And I like doing them at two 90 degree turns. Or sometimes I do the full sweeping 180. Just depends. All right, so I'm going to kind of get things lined up here. I guess if I screw it up, I can always edit it out. Right? We'll be good. So Here we go. 180 auto in 1, 2, 3. Turner Collective down right pedal, half cycling start. My turn now. It's going to be inside, outside, inside, outside. I'm looking down at the taxiway, looking back at my airspeed. I'm looking back at the taxiway. I'm looking at RPM. RPM. RPM's awesome. I haven't even had any collective. Didn't need to. Speed's good. Need a little more right pedal. Looking good, Looking good. Oh, I like it. I like it a lot. I like it a lot. So here comes treetop coming up about right now. Make it bigger. Make it bigger. Flare. Bigger. Bigger, bigger, bigger, bigger, bigger, bigger. Roll in the power. And there you go, people. So that's the deal, like, and subscribe to the channel. Come back the next two weeks. We're going to keep trying to do fun stuff, but people are stuck at home. Let's do some studying. Let's help you get those written out of the way. Let's help you prepare for those orals, And we'll. We'll keep you informed. But you know, as a country, people, let's come together. Or as a global community, stay home, you know, do all the things they tell us to do, Stay busy. My daughter's gonna paint her room today. You know, that's what we want to do.
