Kenny Keller (speaker) presents short profiles of past helicopter flight students and their career outcomes: Jed (fresh out of high school, now sawing trees commercially, working 30/30 and earning well), Gary Cleveland (last officer student trained by the program and participant in developing the online training), Jeff Kaza (past student, police officer and helicopter instructor who still works street patrol), Danny Martin (traveling, active in helicopter flying since his private), Dr. Nick (medical doctor who flew in a BK117 EMS flight, now owns his own helicopter and instrument rating), and Olaf (CFI who flies for Indiana Search and Rescue and helped restore a UH/UE type shown in a video). The video closes with a call-to-action to visit the blog and leave feedback.
Chapters
First one I want to mention here is Jed. This is a young man that came to me fresh out of high school and did his private with me. And then he's one of the lucky ones that later got a job with a company that finishes commercial and now the guy's out sawing trees, of all things, which I think is one of the coolest freaking jobs a guy could be doing. The kids working 30 days on, 30 days off, making more money than I've ever made as a helicopter pilot and just absolutely loving life. So you can get to these different posts when you first come to our page. There is a slideshow going at the top of the screen. So right at the top as the slides come up, like there's Gary Cleveland. Gary is the last officer student pilot trained by us. And here's a little short story on Gary and how Gary was our most recent pilot and was here while we were to developing the online training, which was pretty cool to have him here kind of deciphering through things and it was a huge help to both him and us. That was really cool. So if you're on here and you're checking these out, just go back to click back to the home. You go to specific blog for each specific person. And here's Jeff Kaza, another past student that's now a police officer. He's a helicopter instructor working as a road officer right now. Gets to do some observing in the helicopter. Only reason he hasn't went to the helicopter yet, because he's still enjoying the street so much. And there's Danny Martin, which a lot of you already know his name. Danny Martin is out now traveling around the countryside. He's been involved in helicopter flying ever since he got his private. And there's a picture of the BK. This one here is for our good friend Dr. Nick. It's just kind of cool because back when I was still flying EMS and flying a BK117, Dr. Nick had the privileged to get to go along with me in the BK one night. Being a medical doctor, he was able to go on a flight which was extremely cool. He enjoyed it and so did I. Dr. Nick now has his own helicopter and we try to keep you informed on what he's doing. And he owns his own instrument just to this day loves flying helicopters. And there's Olaf, came to us to do his certified flight instructor. And there's cool story with Olaf. He also flies for Indiana Search and Rescue. And on his post here, there's a video in here of a UE that he was involved in the restoration of and is flying to this day. A really cool video and some pretty interesting stuff there on Olaf with Indiana Air Search and Rescue. So just a quick rundown on some of our past students. They've all stayed active with Helicopter fly in and there's some pretty cool stories there. So proof being that you can go for your dream, learn how to fly. And it's kind of crazy how some of these stories end up and the cool things that some people get to do. So thanks for stopping by this page. Click the link below to go straight to the blog.
