Hello, everybody. Kenny with four way helicopters, I want to introduce you to some of my training experience and the new things that we have coming out. We're going to release some details on the new training that we've been talking about, the new site we've been talking about forever, or it feels like forever. It's been about 15 months and we. 15 months since we started this whole process and project and had a really good time and doing lots of cool stuff and learning new things. And that's what really makes it fun. It seems like when you stop learning and growing or when you get in one of those stagnant modes and you're not doing much, living the same old life, things get kind of boring. And the last 15 months, I have to say, is really exciting. And the most exciting part is learning a lot of stuff about video and training and just all kinds of things. So I want to give a little bit of my experience, which is I. I started training back in 97, started out in the Schweitzer 300. I then pretty much pretty quickly moved into the R22 and for a while kind of went back and forth between the two of those and ended up jumping in the Enstrom helicopter as well. And it did take me a little more time to get through my training. Cost me some more money and drug my training out over the years, from starting off the street up to CFI took about four years. And part of that problem was jumping around different aircraft, different instructors and different states. I flew and trained in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and I've trained in New Hampshire. I've trained in Chicago, California. So a lot of jumping around. And it did take me extra time to get my training. But the cool thing is through all that experience, I've met so many people and got to see so many different things that when you develop your own style of teaching and the way you kind of want to operate, you kind of take the things that maybe you identify with the most or certain areas that you believe is right for you, the way you fly. And something in the flight training world, one instructor may teach a maneuver one way and another might teach a maneuver in a different way. And maybe both of them are okay as long as they're both safe in the way they perform these maneuvers, there's no problem with that. And I'm the first one to say that a lot of people get caught up and argue about, no, you have to do it this way and no, you have to do it that way. Well, depending on what aircraft you're flying, and the conditions you're flying in, sometimes maybe one or the other is a little better, maybe a combination of the two. There isn't always an absolute right or wrong. There's so many different ways of teaching out there, and that's what makes it really interesting. So just getting to the point that, you know, flying with different instructors and flying with different aircraft in different places around the country, around the world, to me, I think is huge and a really, really great experience for people because it just gives you a more rounded knowledge. So those are all the helicopters that I trained in. I also trained a little bit in the bell 47. That was really cool. Didn't get a lot of time in that, but got my chance to train in most all the helicopters. And once I got working, started training, I was flying the Schweitzer, the Enstrom, and the Robinson all at different times, kind of different back and forth, switching between different places. I worked at two flight schools for a while, and then I got the opportunity, after working at the one school for a while, I got an opportunity to get in the Jet Ranger and logged quite a few hours in that and eventually got the opportunity to get trained and Fly News reporting 135 charter and some other stuff. And that was my big jump, my big start to get that turbine time. So after that, I did got some time in an instrument turbine helicopter and got to be one of the few guys around the world that can train in the instrument turbine, which is a really neat deal. And my next step then was moving to an EMS career. In 2005, I spent about five years flying EMS, and that was another great experience. Two and a half years I flew the BK117, and then another two and a half years after that, I flew the EC135. So I've had a lot of different chances and a lot of opportunities to get to do different things. And I'm, you know, to this day, completely thrilled that I've had those opportunities, because I just think a person can go out and get these different experiences and you draw just a little bit from everything that you learn. And one other interesting note that comes to mind is I think it's incredible how I've been flying 15 years, and almost every single day you learn something new. That's the incredible thing you could go on learning for infinity. You're never going to know absolutely everything. Well, there might be a few guys out there that know everything, but most of us don't. And continually just learning new things is just really, really, really, really cool. So kind of wanted to cover that. So if you're looking at our sites and look at our training and thinking about me coming to fly with us, I want to give you a little bit of background of kind of where my training come from, came from and what I've learned. So I want to move on to release some details on our new helicopter training package that's going to be available on our new site, helicopterground.com this has been developed basically due to the lack of ground knowledge out there in the training world. And it's not just helicopters, it happens in airplanes as well. And you can't always necessarily blame an instructor, you can't necessarily blame the student. Maybe you can blame both, but there's a lot of reasons people don't get the ground school that they need. So what I'm offering is helicopter ground training. And we're going to be putting out a package. So what I want to release tonight is just some of the details of the package we're working on, timelines and pricing and membership and how it's all going to work and how it's going to play out. But I keep saying, hey, we're working hard at this and we really, really are. So I want to cover what's going to be in our helicopter flight training package or our helicopter training package. First I'm going to give out or include in the package will be Study Guide, which is a free study guide that I've already put out to anybody that signs up for my email list. And that email list is@fwhihelicopters.com that's a freebie or has been a freebie for people that sign up. That will be in our package. The next is going to be my notebook. And a lot of you have already seen the notebook and know what I'm talking about. Maybe some of you haven't. The notebook is a notebook that I put together many years ago after I failed my first checkride and realized that I really needed to find a good way to study and was overwhelmed with all the different materials. And I put everything into one notebook. And just as a study guide for myself, turns out 10 years later, 11, 12 years later, I've been using it all along to teach out of as not just the only thing, but just a general reference. When you're sitting down at a table and going through stuff, it's a great way to study. You still have to go back and reference all of your materials, your pts, your FAR AIM manual, your private pilot manual, commercial pilot manual, instrument manual, Whatever the other materials you need, you still need those. You need to be good with them and use them. But it's also nice to have one specific area just to sit down and study for a period of time. So we're going to have the notebook available along with our package. I'm going to do a video on the pts. I've already done several videos on the pts and I have a presentation built for that. We're going to shoot that again in a newer fashion and a newer style from what I've put out in the past. I'm going to do another video on things that have come up in my last 10 years or over 10 years of teaching. Things that I see that happen, mistakes that we make, mistakes, instructors make mistakes, students make all the different things that happen because we all make mistakes. And I'm one to say that I feel like I've made a good majority of the ones that you can make. I'm not perfect. I mess up. And what I do is I do try to learn from those mistakes and I do try to admit when I make a mistake. That's one thing. When you get to the instructor point they teach you when you're training to be an instructor is when you're not sure of a question, look it up, make sure that you give your student the proper information. And if you don't know, don't try to muddle your way through it. Just say, you know what, let's look that up. So you need to get good at looking things up. But moving on with our package, I'm going to have another video in there with just things that I think are really super important, like the one hour flight lesson, flying three times a week, things of that nature. Then we have our main training package is 300 pages of training. And this 300 pages is jam packed with stuff that follows right along with my notebook. So if you have my notebook on your lap, you can follow along in the notebook as you follow the video presentation. And the video presentation will be 300 slides total, probably more before we're done. It's going to have video, some drawings, a lot of video of me just talking you through the different things, but just going through the meat of a lot of the stuff that you just simply have to know. Maybe helping you with some memory aids and things along that nature. Now this training is all going to be in video form and it's going to be available in the training package. If you join the membership, you will be able to go online to helicopterground.com and you'll have access 24 hours a day, seven days a week to get to this package of training. Now, what we're also going to do is we're going to do a set of DVDs, and the DVDs will have the whole entire training package that follows. It'll be the same video from the online school, but it'll be in DVD form. And then the opposite side of that, we're going to have it just an audio form. So if you spend a lot of time driving on the road, I've actually had a customer request for that. Some people have emailed and say, hey, put this in audio so I can listen to it driving down the road. So we're going to have it in CD as well. So you'll be able to view it online on CD anytime, even without Internet access. And then also an audio version on CD forum so that you can pop it in your car in a CD player and listen to it when you're driving down the road. And we'll explore some other avenues too, because we're working on all these things, but these are step by step the things that we're going to have. And that's all included in our flight training package. We're working on timelines for release of everything because we are a small operation. We are the little guy and we're pretty much doing everything ourselves. The video, the marketing, the editing, the building, the system, everything we're doing ourselves. So I guarantee you that we are working many, many, many hours, many days straight to just push on forward, to make all this, I guess you could call it a dream, all this dream come to reality. So I'm super excited. It's really, really cool. And I can't wait to get everything out there and ready to go. And we're going to release more information as time goes by. So the new site is helicopterground.com we're loading and working on that right now. We'll have some stuff live on that very soon. For right now, if you want to be the next to get details on the next release of a timeline and our pricing and everything that's going to go along with our flight training, Sign up for our email, go to our current training site@fwhihelicopters.com and you'll be the first to get the details released on the things that I've been talking about. So thanks for stopping by and checking out this video. Please stay tuned. And I do want to thank everybody that has supported me along the way. And that list goes on and on and on and on. In many ways, shapes, forms and fashions. And it's just really incredible, the interest we've had. And I'm having a blast doing it. And I'm committed to just charging forward and keeping the training coming out and seeing where we can go from here. So, as always, thanks for stopping by and we'll see you all soon. Thanks.
