Kenny Keller explains how helicopter tree trimming near power lines saves time and keeps workers safe. A crew that normally takes a week completed 22 spans in as little as 15 minutes, cutting roughly 20 hours of labor while spotters protected pedestrians below.
22 spans.
A week and some.
Two hours (previous) and as short as 15 minutes (another claim).
About 20 hours of work.
No one was hurt.
I'm stoked. With just that huge off road section.
There's like 22 spans or something up there. Climbing. Climbing around power lines is dangerous, especially dead trees.
And I just pounded them. Yep. So we got 22 spans. It took the fellas a week and some to work it. Last time I just knocked it out in two hours. Helicopter's worth it. That's what he was telling me.
15 minutes.
Saves 20 hours of work. Every bit of it.
No one's hurt.
And safe.
Hours, safety. They're not ready. I tell you, off road, I'll have her man at each one of these single face taps reading the house to make sure no pedestrians come out. Perfect. All right.
See you.
