Kenny Keller takes a Robinson R-44 to Florida to film new helicopter maneuvers for HOGS. He visits Straight Up Aviation and the Lee County Sheriff's Department, adds six pilots to the Wall of Fame, and releases two new mini-courses on airspace and weather.
Hogs going to Florida. This is exciting stuff. We're gonna walk over, check out Heather putting up six members on the Hogs Wall of Fame. We've got a couple of new mini courses out there to talk about real fast. We're gonna be updating maneuvers during our trip down to Florida. I'm gonna get a flight review, get myself freshened up in the R44, and we're gonna film all new maneuvers for the private pilot section inside helicopter online ground school. So we're gonna be flying with straight up aviation and we're gonna fly over and visit the pilots at the Lee County Sheriff's Department, who many of them are using Hogs for training as well. So that's going to be fun considering that was my dream in the beginning. I get to live that out a little bit when I go to visit a sheriff's department aviation unit. And then I'll be heading down to Sarasota to do some flying in R44 with another pro member. And we're doing some filming there as well. So I have to mention the one picture here is Jerry Ventrella, the examiner I've been talking about in videos for 11 years now. We're going on 12 years. This is the legendary examiner. Vietnam era pilot still out there doing checkrides. Exciting that he's up on the Hogs Wall of Fame with one of our members who he administered the checkride for. He is pictured there with Marcus for commercial pilot. So Heather also just posted Moses for commercial pilot. Norman private pilot, Robert helicopter add on Craig private pilot and Justin private pilot. So we're thrilled to add those six members to the Hogs Wall of Fame. We want to get you up on there as well. And another note, we just added two sections to hogs. One for airspace and one for weather. These are taken from private pilot. So if you're already a member and you have a private or above, you already have this. This is for somebody that just wants a smaller version of a course. And people tell us airspace and weather are their two biggest learning hurdles. So we have a box heading to Florida now for the members at Straight Up Books and T shirts, we're sending a package down there because we know when members sign up. So many of them have come from straight up aviation. So we appreciate the fact that they're sending us lots of members for ground school. We have one pro pilot down there member that's involved in one of the aircraft. So it's going to be an interesting couple of weeks with lots of filming, lots of fun stuff going on.
