I know I may not look like a guy that just paid out like $3,150 in commissions to flight instructors. Crazy bed head and crazy coffee cup and all, but we did, we have an affiliate program. And if you're a flight instructor, we know that you're probably not making a lot of money. You're probably eating ramen noodles and driving a pos. Just because we know flight instructors in the beginning don't make a lot of money until you build time to get further in your career. And we, I'm amazed that we haven't had more people sign up. And I guess we haven't pushed it enough that we have a 50% affiliate program, meaning you're a flight instructor. If you sign up for our affiliate program, which is really easy, I'll put the link down below. You'll have your own login and you have your own custom link. So if your students looking for some additional ground school from what you're providing, they want. You want some video help, they want some help. We pay you, the instructor, 50%. And we've kept that kind of on the down low in the past. We always just paid 30 and then, and we didn't have too many because we didn't push it. But we recently decided, you know what, times are tough. And affiliate programs are a great way to make sales. And so we just sent out to people, several different instructors, and one of them was, had sold a propilot. So this guy got a check for like $1300. Not a check, we sent it to your PayPal. But point being, I'll be transparent. I worked with some marketing guys and they're like, you should be doing affiliate program and you should, you should be paying 50% to anybody that signs up their students. And I'm like, man, 50%. You know, it's a lot of money. And he's like, yeah, but that's money that you're not, that you wouldn't normally make. So you should absolutely be doing a 50% affiliate program because in the end, even though you're sharing 50% of your income from your members, and yeah, you still have your business expenses, but in the long run, it's going to help your business because you're going to get more sales. So we started, we ran an email, it's been a couple months ago, only had a few signups and I thought, man, I'm surprised that more people, more instructors aren't signing up for the affiliate program. 11 years online, approaching 12 years. We have the Hogs Wall of Fame where we show you all the members that are getting through their checkrides. And if you're an instructor, a lot of times you want to be building your time anyway, right? You'd rather be out in the helicopter building time than sitting inside doing ground school. You have to do some with your student, of course, because you have to make sure they have the knowledge to solo. You have to make sure they have the knowledge for the written. Make sure their knowledge is good enough to go take a check ride. However, someone, any person, man or woman, can use HOGS as a additional study. And then there's instructors that don't want to do ground at all. And we know this, we hear it all the time, right? So if you're a flight instructor or a flight school, you can also sign up your flight school as an affiliate and we'll even build you a page. So we'll build you a page, your own page, that says ABC Flight School in conjunction with Helicopter Land Ground School. You can put your own information on there so they know how to contact you to if they want to fly. But it also will have your specific link and you can log in at any time. So you know exactly who signed up for hogs and that what your affiliate commission is. We can all see it. You have your own portal. You go in and let's say John Doe signs up for a monthly membership. As long as he keeps that membership, each month, you'll get a payment for 50%. It sounds kind of crazy, but it's, it's what we've done and what's what we've decided to do in this world we're living in. So if you're an instructor and you want to make some extra money, you will need a PayPal account, because that's what we send the money to. It's all set up so that we can make a mass payment. Boom, send Everybody money every 30 days. And Heather is in charge of this program to make sure that she's logging in and assisting anybody that has a question and to log in and make sure every month that anybody that has a commission coming gets paid. So there's no if, ands or buts about whether you get paid or not and how much you made because it's right there in your portal. You can see it. We can see it every 30 days we make those commission payments. So getting ready to go fly with another member. I don't normally fly on weekends, but. But I do what it takes to get your rating done. And we have a member here from Florida getting ready for a CFI check right on Tuesday. So he'll be FAC number seven for this summer 2023. And then after we finish him up, helicopter goes in for its first hundred hour. Can you believe we're at 100 hours already with helicopter that we got a few months ago? That was six hours on it after an overhaul. So yeah, we've been flying. And then this is September, the end of the month. I have another CFI coming. The one next week is in it. Cfi. Add on I've done. That'll be three of those for the summer. Next CFI is the initial cfi. He'll be. That'll be the second initial cfi. So CFI seems to be the flavor of the month or the summer, I guess that we've done private commercial and CFI, but most of them have been CFIs. So anyway, links down below.
