Hey, helicopter online ground school members, got a question for you. Today I'm at home, it's Sunday, and Brian and I are discussing how to let everybody know about updates. We've been updating a ton of videos inside helicopter only ground school. So, you know, we've been putting new videos in basic maneuvers, advanced maneuvers, and we're going to be doing new emergency videos and a lot of them have already been replaced. We were building all four or all three of those sections first inside private pilot ground school. And what a lot of people are asking, a lot of our members are saying, well, hey, you know, I didn't realize there was all this new stuff in there. So we're trying to decide the best way to notify people of updates. And email is going to be too much because we're making a lot of videos really fast and doing a lot of upgrades. So it wouldn't be really feasible or smart to email you every single time. Email is our main form communication along with YouTube. I personally like YouTube. I don't use Twitter, we use Facebook, but we don't have much of a following or much interaction on Facebook. There is something that I want to ask you about members. There is something called text line and there are several versions of this out here where, you know, in this day and age, a lot of people say, well, email's dead. You know, text your customers, you, your customers want a text. So one option would be getting one of these services where you can text anybody that signs up for it. So my question would be, how many of you would be interested in text updates? It's an option we could look at maybe doing one email per week, maybe with a list of the updates. Not sure how to do it. Everybody, everybody uses different forms of social media. Some people like text, some people like email. You know, the majority of what I'm doing currently and have been for over a year is YouTube. Talking on YouTube about updates, things we're doing. That's my number one pick. But I realize a lot of you aren't using YouTube. You're watching this video on YouTube. But I'm also going to email this out today and say, hey, you know, members, go to this video or email us and let us know kind of what your idea is. We'd like to know as a user, because we're on the backside providing you the content and providing you the service. So you, as users that log in, you could help us kind of know from the user standpoint where would you want to go look for what has been updated? We do have announcements that we can put on each course. It's in the upper right hand of the screen. Inside Helicopter Land Ground School, when you're inside the courses, we could use that as the main source of updates which when you would log into Helicopter Land Ground School, you'd have to go to the right hand corner, click on announcements to go look and see what's been updated in that course in the past. But I don't know how friendly that is as far as from a user point of view. So I wanted to do this video today to encourage feedback from you. You can do it here on YouTube, you can do it with inside the site. You can contact us and if you don't know for April, Heather's going to be working at home. I'm going to let her stay home all month. She's manning the telephone. Our HOGs number is 574-767-1797. That number is available for you to call and or text. You can text that message and then Heather's gonna, you know, fill the questions. A lot of things Heather can answer for you as far as membership and all kinds of things. However, technical, detailed flight training questions that Heather can't answer, she can always refer to me and Brian. So that option is gonna be more available to you right now through the month of April. Before Heather works usually normally four days a week. So a lot of times the phone just kind of laid in the office. Friday, Saturday, Sunday may not get a real fast return on a text message or a phone call. But for April, Heather took the mobile phone home with her with the HOGS business line. Okay. So she's going to be monitoring that seven days a week. That's my deal with Heather. It's like, you know what, stay home, stay safe, be with your son, and let's do this. Just man the phone, man your email as always, so that as members have questions or potential members have questions, we can give them the best service that we hopefully have given in eight years of being online. So would love to hear feedback on how you would like to receive updates to helicopter on land ground school. And we'll take your feedback and try to pick the one that's the most popular. So I've got that to talk about. And then I want to tell you about the max takeoff video is completed. And I let Brian see it last night and he was like, dude, I'm gl. Three minutes into it, he texted me, I'm three minutes in. I love it already. I spent a little extra time really trying to put Together, the best visual presentation that I felt I could. And I think I created yesterday at home here, editing. I think I just created the best flying video I've ever done in 10 years of making flying videos. So we're gonna air that this week, maybe Monday. I want to do it live so people can come in, interact. And I want to have Heather there so she can be in chat on YouTube talking to you and answering questions. And I want to have Brian there available too, when we premiere this video because we're pretty darn proud of it. And maybe tomorrow, maybe on Monday. If not, we'll definitely get it out by Tuesday, But I'm shooting for tomorrow. But we're really, really, really proud of the new Max takeoff video. It's really good. It is so freaking good. Can't wait to show it to you. I'm a little jealous. One of my neighbors has their pontoon in. Oh, I get my pontoon in. A little bit hesitant, though. It's getting nice, but we'll see. So just a favor, if you like YouTube and you like seeing our videos on YouTube, subscribe and click the bell, because this is how we. This is my number one way to communicate. I just prefer YouTube. I like YouTube. And during this crisis, I plan to go live every day. I went live every day in March, and I plan to go live every day in April. Whether we're doing a training event or we're just talking about training or answering member questions or potential member questions. I answered some member questions yesterday. Brand new member who's only got six hours of flight time, and he had some general, three general questions about flight training. I did that yesterday. And pretty good short video on the deck, but answers a few questions that a lot of people have when they're brand new to this. And that would be the video from yesterday. So just check it out on YouTube. I believe it's titled new to new student training struggles or something like that. But it's here on YouTube, so subscribe the channel. Click the bell. Leave your comments down below or you can email us. Kennyelicopterground.com heatherelicopterground.com brianelcopterground.com and that number again for our customer service for this month that Heather's gonna monitor all throughout the week, including weekends. 574-767-1797 and last, I want to say I'm really impressed with you, our members. So many people have been logging in in this, you know, stupid. I keep using the word stupid, but it's. It's it's horrible. This COVID 19 thing is. It's horrible, right? And we all know this. But I'm doing my best to stay positive, keep training. And we're amazed at the amount of members that are logging in and consuming training, which is good, right? You need to keep your mind active, and so that's why we're here for you through this mess, more accessible than ever. And even though it's a horrible thing going on in the world, we got to do positive things. And for me, this is the best time for us to really work on the site. Now that we have Brian here, he'll be starting his third week full time. So between me, Brian and Heather, the technology I have now, the super, super, super fast Internet I have at the airport, all the new technologies that I have, I'm able to make updates to ground school, make new videos, make better videos. It's a great time for us. So as much as the virus sucks, I'm doing my best to make a positive note. And I work every day, right? Why wouldn't I? I mean, it keeps me motivated and entertained. A few times I've got stuck on, you know, scrolling the social media and I just get frustrated. And so I'm just very limited to my social media input right now. Spending time with my daughter, either going to the airport or working from home and just staying really, super busy to take this horrible thing going on in the world and do my best to make ground school better than it's ever been. So subscribe, click the Bell comment below and we shall see you in the next video. Peace out.
