This is a YouTube video titled "Hover Autos Made Simple: Just Ease It Forward & Right #flightschool #helicopters #helicoptertraining" containing a single-speaker instructional tip about helicopter hover control techniques, recorded in July 2025. The speaker shares personal training experience and advice on managing helicopter movement during hover autos.
All right, quick little tip for you. What I do in high hoverados, very gently when I enter it, I push a little bit forward and a little bit to the right with the cyclic to help try to move the helicopter this way. And I do that because early in my training at our flight school, somebody rolled a helicopter during a hoverado, and it went like this, caught the back skid and rolled over. And the helicopter has a tendency of wanting to move left and move a little bit aft. So I just add a little bit, not a bunch. But when I enter the hoverado, I go just a slight push forward and a slight push right. And it just helps me keep that nose straight. And just a little tip that works for me. Want to relay it to you.
