Kenny Keller recounts his early experience selling information products online, describing a first $297 sale and how revenue covered helicopter expenses. He emphasizes that online knowledge businesses are not ‘get-rich-quick’ schemes but slow-building, low-overhead ventures that provide real value to customers; he also notes publishing two books, including one on helicopter tail rotor issues.

So I've been online selling a few months. I sell my package online for 297 was the price at that time. And I'm all excited, thinking, wow, you know, I just made money driving down the road, going to the airport. So a few minutes later, it dawns on me, this money that I just made from selling my knowledge online is now going to go into the fuel tank of the helicopter. That was pretty much at the end when I'm struggling. A short time later, I get an offer on the aircraft. And that was the big thing that just really made me realize the power of selling information online. And the other thing that I'm really proud of is it's not like it's some shady thing or you're just, you know, making money hand over fist just for, you know, throwing out some videos. It's not the case. I'm actually helping people. I interact with my customers. I'm always adding and building more training and giving them lots of value. And in turn, the feedback that I get is incredible. You know, the feedback from somebody you've helped that's happy with your services and tell you they don't, that you don't even charge enough, that's a pretty incredible feeling. So as I continue on to build the online training and it's very slow in the beginning, this is not an overnight success. I'm not saying you're gonna just throw up some content, start making money immediately. I had a lot of, I had a lot of time and effort in building this, but the beauty is, for a very small investment compared to the other two businesses I've had. When you look at the dollar per dollar, it's just absolutely incredible. You know, those are what we call brick and mortar businesses, where you have a storefront and you have offices and you have equipment and really high expenses. The expenses that I have with this business, the online business, is very, very minimal. So as I've been doing this online endeavor, I have published two books. One. During hovering flight, also called tail rotor drift. It's one of the three T's that everybody screws up. Effective translational lift, transverse flow effect and transit.
