"I spent hardly any money on ground school from the actual helicopter school."

A YouTube livestream by Kenny Keller (Helicopter On Ground School) featuring a student testimonial from Jim Adams who credits HOGS for helping him pass a helicopter checkride and greatly reducing paid ground-school expenses. Kenny discusses staff (Heather, Brian), ongoing course updates (maneuver videos, FAA WINGS reporting), membership resources (free PDFs, radio course, hoodie/shop links), and an affiliate offer for Kajabi’s 28-day course. He also shares a personal segment about his 1979 Dodge Power Wagon used in a TV show and closes by explaining how online study with HOGS can reduce time and cost in flight training (with a note on Part 141 requirements).

Foreign hey, it's Kenny with helicopter on ground school leaving the furnace run today. So hopefully that's not too annoying in the background. But I want to stay warm today. Check out this photo. I'm going to share just a quick happy successful news here and I'm going to walk over because I know what's going to happen. This is going to go live on YouTube in the. There it goes. Quick. I always forget to do this normally. Heather's here to handle that for me. Heather will probably be in chat. Heather had an outpatient surgery today. No big deal. She's back home, but she said she could make it in today. And let me bring up my camera real quick. I don't know about all of you, but have you had enough of this damn pandemic? Jesus, this week's really kind of wearing on me just a little bit. I've kept a pretty good attitude through all of this and I don't know man, I needed some uplifting news and that's what I have right here. I just got this email a little bit ago from a helicopter line ground school named Jim Adams. He sent me this, just a few sentences, but I want to tell you what it is. And I said thank you today. I needed this pick me up. And he said anything to support you, man. And that's what I love about helicopter line ground school. Right? Talking to the members and people that bring up stuff like this. Let's get to the good news. I just want to share this. I'm just going to give you the main point here. I want to share on the screen. He sends me this email and he said, hey Kenny, I hope you're well. Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I passed my helicopter checkride in Southern California. Your ground school was indispensable as a self starter. I think I actually learned better from your online program than from a classroom setting. During the time I was learning and flying, the only ground school I did with the helicopter school was preparing for my cross country solo and final preparation for the oral portion of the exam. I spent hardly any money on ground school from the actual helicopter school, mostly because of your ground school. So thank you. Flying a helicopter safely is certainly one of the coolest things I've ever done. God bless and good luck with your school and ongoing vids. Sincerely, Jim Adams. And I emailed him right back and I said, man, I'm going to share that today in a video. Hope you don't mind. And I said, I'm sure that you'll hear from Heather and she'll be bouncing you for a pick. And boom, he sent me a pic. Let's throw back up again here then. This way he can give credit. He didn't mention the flight school, but you can see in the background, upper limit aviation. So there he is with his examiner and with his instructor. So see, even get free plugs for your flight school with helicopter. Only in ground school. Check him out. Look how happy he is. Instructor's happy, examiner's happy. Goes and passes the checkride. How freaking cool is that? You know? And I just feel like I can take a little bit of break. A little bit of a break, right? From always just harping and harping and harping about what. What helicopter line, ground school can. Can do for you. You know, we got eight years now building this, and like I said, this week I've had kind of a rough week. Just, man, this. This whole world. I mean, we're all in this together, right? I mean, it's affecting everybody, and it's affecting some people more than others. And I'm lucky I get to come to the hangar and still work. Heather's at home, which is fine, you know, for the rest of the month. Indiana is talking about maybe loosening up some of the guidelines. Maybe May 1st. Hopefully they do. But I want to mention Kevin is here. Awesome. Hello, Kevin. Mark. Hello, Heather. And Kenny. Clarence. Clarence, almost always here. Daniel, he's always here. And there's Heather. Hi, guys. Thank you, Clarence. Maybe we'll see Brian Rutledge jump in. Nice. Daniel. Upper limit aviation. That is the school I will be attending. Very nice. Very, very nice. Some good news. A dreary day. It's freaking snowing here. And there's Jason Cutter. Hello. There's Scott. Hey, awesome. Jeff Miller. Hello, Kenny. Hello, Jeff. Heather. That's right. The members speak for themselves on Hogs. Yeah, I did a video a couple days ago, and I was kind of ticked off. Yeah. From this one guy. And I know I shouldn't let people like that get to me, but when you put your heart and soul into eight years of something and this moron called me a fraud, I just. I lost it. I just freaking lost it. And what a jerk. What a jerk. Anyway, I want to show you something in a few minutes. I want to know, let me know if any of you interested in this. I got this cool 1979 Dodge Power Wagon. Yesterday I made it. I made a video about this truck. And if anybody like to see it, maybe I'll roll that here in just a few minutes yesterday, Brian was texting me some stuff and I said, you know what I'm doing today? I'm doing a video Kenny wants to do. I have this cool truck I brought, I bought in 1989. It's got a great story behind it. And that's what I did yesterday. And I did my normal hog stuff from home, but I came to the airport and I thought, you know what? I work on hogs every single day. I want to do something for me today. And I grabbed some cameras and I went and played with this old truck. I'm just going to roll it here pretty shortly anyway just because I. Just because I'm pretty proud of the video and it's a for fun video. So I'm going to roll that in a minute. Haters will be haters. I know, I know Clarence and I know that. And I've watched videos from my gurus on handling haters. And I get it, and I get it. And nine times out of 10 or 99 times out of 100, they don't get to me. But man, this guy just, he went overboard and it just got to me. Heck yeah. Roll that video. Awesome. I'm gonna roll it for you, Daniel. It's just a fun video. And again, it's a little bit of my personality and a little bit about, I don't know, it's just a fun video. So I'm gonna, I am gonna roll it. And there's Brian Rutledge. He's in. Awesome. So there's a bunch of free links down below today that I put down below all the time, all the normal ones. Top 10 checkride tips. That's down there. Helicopter checkrides down there. There's a free radio course down below. Those are all down there. Our hog service number that Heather is handling during April from home. 574-767-1797. Heather is taking your calls and emails, handling day to day stuff, membership questions. You know, she can do a lot of the basic stuff. And then she's referring brand new members. Get a consultation with Brian. And I'll actually extend that to current members if you're a member, a current member. Helicopter on ground school. Brian is there for you. He's really been enjoying talking to members. Brian is handling the real technical things with flight training since he's helping me rebuild the site. And I'm not going to tell you what it is, but he's building something brand new that we're going to offer, never offered before. It's going to be neat. Brian is working his butt off. He started building. He was like, I'll have this ready in like a day and a half. Today he called like, I'm laughing, going, yeah, a day and a half is going to take you till the middle of next week, but we'll talk more on that. See, Brian just said, I'll talk to anyone. Brian has been enjoying talking to the members because he's getting that firsthand feel and getting to talk to people. Brian's been a part of what we do for the last seven years, but now that he's. This is in his third week full time, or maybe his fourth week full time. Brian's been talking to a lot of people. People. And there's no better way for us to move ground school forward. I know many of you. I've met many of you. I know who a lot of you are and a lot of you, we've talked or we've talked on the phone or we've text or we've emailed. It's not like I don't want to talk to you. That's not the case. Don't think that for a minute. I'm still available as I've always been. But getting Brian involved, moving ground school forward, your feedback is key. So Brian is learning so many things when he's talking to you, our ground school members, and it just helps him give insight. And in turn, with all these changes we've been doing and making, you know, we've been updating the helicopter maneuver videos. We're still not done. The weather has went to crap here. I've been waiting for another day to get out and shoot some more, but we've got probably half of them done. And Brian's been uploading, uploading downloads like crazy. Brian, how many uploads have you uploaded now in the maneuver section? Like 17, 18. I do want to catch up on comments. Hogs hoodies link too. I've had a couple ask on the phone. There you go. Hogs hoodies. I should have had that link down below. Hogshoodies.com. that's where you go for the hoodies and T shirts. And we've got some new gear available that we can pick. I just need to find the time to sit down and look at some of the new things that are trending, that are cool that we have available to us. So that's awesome. Kevin, like I said, that guy could not navigate your site. It's best he's not a pilot. Good call, Kevin, because somebody else emailed me today or comment on YouTube. Somebody on YouTube. Maybe it was you, Kevin. Somebody said, I've used your written test and it's obvious where it's at. That guy was just out there somewhere. Thank you, Kevin. I appreciate that very much. Brian. Fourth week full time and I'm blown away at what goes on behind the scenes. It's so much fun for me. Brian's building a new product that I'm not going to reveal yet, but he called today and he's talking, talking about building presentations, right? And I'm just sitting that grin ear to ear going, yeah, I know, been there, done that. I've been doing this eight years, right? So it's fun for me now that Brian was always kind of like just our watchdog from the outside. Now he's in there helping us build courses. So it's actually a lot of fun to see what he's going through. So did he say snowing there? Yes, it's freaking snowing here today. Bullshit. Did I just say that? Sorry, man, the weather gets me down. We've had some Beautiful days here. 60s and 70s and a couple of days that I didn't make videos in the past week or two was because it was a beautiful home and I power washed my deck and power washed the pier and power washed the driveway and I was cleaning things up at home and I was out in the sun. I was like, I took a couple days off from making videos just because I was like, man, it was just so wonderful to be outside. So anyway, and the other thing I want to talk about, and this is something that I've rarely ever mentioned, but now in the world we're going to. And then I'm going to roll that video for Daniel on the truck. But real quick. And I can touch on this if anybody has some questions about this after we roll the truck video, but there's a couple links down below. Now, you've heard me say all these videos, you know, I promote all kinds of people and different things and I don't get paid a dime for any of them. You know, particularly a certain helicopter that I promote big time. I'm not sponsored, not paid, nobody pays me for anything. However, if you are. For example, I had a member who emailed me, said, kenny, I'm a flight paramedic and I want to build an online course on how to, you know, become a flight paramedic. Well, the course that the software I've been using for eight years, I make my living with this software. Me, Brian and Heather, all three of us, this is how we make our living. And I run my whole course on a site called Kajabi now that I'm actually an affiliate for. And they have a 28 day challenge where anybody can take like our test flight. You can utilize their site for 28 days and they work with you. And there's a 28 day challenge to make your first $1,000 online. And you're our helicopter crowd. So I don't talk a lot about this kind of stuff. I should start using one of my other channels. I have a personal channel I never put anything on. I should start using that. But I was going to hint on this today for those of you that have asked me and other people have asked me in the past, they have ideas about their knowledge and they want to do something online. And you, all of you know now our world has changed forever. And I mean changed forever. Run my entire business, everything, email, video, all the payment processing, everything. One site, there's a link down in there and all those other links down below. And I have a course I built a few years ago that I don't promote. It's called how to build your online business. And that's like a $300 course but I got that down there for a buck. So any of you who really want to take your knowledge and try to go online and make money exactly like I do and supports my whole business, supports my whole livelihood and a lot of you know Kajabi name because of the app. There's links down there for that where you can take it and they walk you through how to build it and you can take your knowledge, start making some videos with your smartphone and get this dude up. And they try to encourage you to make $1,000 selling a product in 28 days. And you can use that training for 28 days, try out the whole software. So I'll put that link down below and then my site how to build your online business where walks you through how I did it. It just simply I just, I wrote a book on how I did it. Eight years ago, living with my sister, driving my sister's car because I didn't even have a vehicle anymore to drive and borrowing money from my unemployed sister to get to the airport. Eight years later I have a what will soon be a seven figure online business. Six figure right now, that's eight years of hard work. It's not a get rich scheme. But for those of you who want to now do something online, it's the way to go. Let's see, what else did we say here? Snowing. Yep. Okay, question for Brian. I see that. Alright, just some chit chat going there. I'm gonna roll this video for fun. Now remember, you'll understand a little more of the story, but the TV show was actually. Well, you know what? I'm just gonna roll the video. This is a for fun video that I want to share with you that I made yesterday. And Kenny made this for Kenny and I really enjoyed it. And I thought, you know what, I want to share this to the world. So check this out. It's fun. Yo, Kenny. With helicopter on ground school, I'll do something a little bit different today. I've been making helicopter videos for like 10 years. I want to do something different. I want to tell you about this truck. It's a great story. It's a fun story. This was used in a television series when I was a kid. So, yeah, a long time ago. And I was a fan of this truck big time. And back in 1989, I was working for the police department and I show up one day to work and I drive past the local gas station and I see this truck sitting there and I'm like, oh my God. Somebody has built a truck to look exactly like that truck. Freaking cool. And especially being intrigued by the bumper. And then they show the bumper was actually a little bit longer. This has had a section cut off of it. And down below there is still the rusted bolts hanging through. They took a torch and cut the bolts off and took a bottom section off. I want to redo that. Cause I want to make the truck look as close as I can to the show. The guy that got it before me took the light bar off and the padding off the roll bar. So I want to duplicate that. Anyway, it was so much fun. I run home and I'm like looking at the. You know, I'm studying how the whole bumper's built and where the lights are at. And I go back and look at the truck. I'm on duty, right? This is many years ago. You're not supposed to run plates that you see off television, right? When I ran it, when they asked me where the vehicle was, it was because a couple of cops had got in trouble from running. They ran a plate, I think like off of a Corvette in the show Charlie's Angels. And they got in trouble, right, because they were illegally running a plate. They were running a plate that they saw on a television. This was in my town. So it wasn't like it was illegal that I was running it because I could do that. The truck was sitting there on the street. So I. At which this truck was in my presence, it was in Indiana, right? So I see the plate and I call the plate number in. And the dispatch says, where is this vehicle located? And I'm right here in my hometown. And the light clear stash returns to Universal studios, Universal city, California. Can't say that I wasn't like flipping out excited right over this truck. So I'm gonna open up the hood. We're gonna see if we can't bring this battery back to life. If not, I'm gonna run out and get a brand new one. So more of the fun part of the story is it's sitting at a gas station. So I go in to talk to the mechanic because I knew the mechanic, right? Grew up with this guy. I'm like, I walk in the shop and I'm like, is that truck? And he's like, yeah, it's the truck you're thinking of. And I'm like, how in the heck did this thing end up in Indiana? And he goes, yeah, this guy bought it in California and brought it back to Indiana. Remember this is 1989. And he went in because there was something that went through the floorboard in the bed of the truck. And he wanted to weld the spot back in the bed, right? And so this guy at the welding shop says, well, hey, what are you gonna do with this truck? And he goes, oh, I'm gonna repaint it and fix it up and sell it. Dude, don't touch it. Don't do anything to it if you're wanting to sell it. I know a guy who's interested in it and he jumped at the chance to buy it, but he's going to want it exactly like it is. Rough looking, like it was on the show, right? So he's like, well, who's that? And he says, kenny keller. And he goes, well, tell him to call me. I know Kenny from when we were kids. So the brother calls his sister, she calls me, boom, run down there and buy the truck. Spot on. It's four blocks away from my house at his grandpa's house. I'm gonna get the battery charger thrown on there, and if I have to get a new battery, we'll go get a new one. But probably six months ago, I left the truck sit with the key on by accident. So it drained the battery completely down. And I know with a slow charge, sometimes you can bring them back. If not, we'll go get a brand new one and we're gonna start this dude up. We're Gonna go for a cruise? Because I was just telling a friend the other night, people don't. I mean, if you're into old trucks like this, you'll get it, right? If you're not an old truck fan, then it may not mean much to you, or if you were a fan of this show, you'll get it. But this thing is just so freaking fun to drive. And even back in the day, people would freak out because a lot of people would think, oh, that's a duplicate, right? But even more now when you get out on the road, not many people are gonna know what it is, but they just see this truck coming down the road and they're like, they just think this is some beater piece of, you know, pos and they're going, what in the heck is that? Right? So it gets a lot of attention and it's just plain fun to drive. And I can't even really explain it other than that this is just fun to drive. Alright, so we'll start this thing out with a slow charge. I'll go find my notes. When I made a phone call to Universal Studios, Universal City, California, and I was quite shocked. I got right through to the garage and I'll tell you more about that. I thought it was gonna be a lot harder to find out information about the truck. Basically, I call Universal Studios and I just, back in the day, you know, called 555-1212 or whatever. Get a number for Universal Studios. Dial the number. I don't think I'm gonna get anywhere. And I said, yeah, I just bought this truck and I'd like to see if there's like a fan club or somebody I could talk to, learn more. And the lady's like, hang on. Guy comes on Walt Garage. And I'm like, they put me right through to the garage at Universal Studios. And so I started talking to Walt and I told him about the truck. He's like, what's it doing in Indiana? And I tell him the story and he's like, well, what do you want to know about the truck? He's like, if you ever make it to California, you know, we got all the records on it. But he said there was two trucks, both promos from Dodge. One was a 78, one was a 79. 78 was an automatic truck, the 79 was a manual truck, which is the one that I have. And he said, they're both brand new promos to DOT from Dodge. We pulled them in, we built the big bumpers front and back. He said, we build Them identical. They use the automatic truck to pull the manual shift truck. And right here, still, the tow bar hinges still intact, Right. So they would tow the manual shift truck, which makes sense. They throw the neutral, pull it with automatic truck. So he says, yeah, we built the bumpers, made them duplicated. We put the faded paint on them. And he said, you know, we even did the scratches on the power wagon. You know, we purposely did all that. And. And here you can see the original red paint underneath the faded paint, Right? And when you look at the show, it is very hard to tell the two trucks apart. There's a couple ways you can do it. And the quickest way is this truck. Roll bar does this. Right. Come straight down the roll bar on the automatic truck. It comes out and then makes a turn and goes down. So when you watch the show, that's how you know which truck you're looking at. And then the other thing is, when you watch the show, this interior's black. I've changed nothing on this truck. I've put a drive shaft in it, you know, battery in it, changed oil. We just recently put plugs and wires on it. It still had the plugs and wires from 1989. That's how much I don't drive it. It sits majority of the time. Start it a couple times a year and have fun with it. When you watch the show, the automatic truck has a red interior. And, of course, you'll see the actors reaching up for the automatic lever to put it in gear for automatic. And then when they're doing stunts and you see somebody shifting, it's this truck. So that's the quickest way you can tell is by the roll bar and by the interior. That's a lot of fun. There's one episode in the show where you see an airplane fly over. And you see they're shooting at the truck. So you see the shots go boom, boom, boom, boom across the hood, right? So there they are. And you can see what they did. Apparently, put, like, a little plastic charge in there or something, Right? Wire it in a series. And there's another one or two here that haven't come apart yet. And then there's a hole drilled everywhere underneath where one of those are at. When it looks like the hood's getting shot. That's how they do that. There's eyelets on the floor and in the back for a full. And harness. Even goes through the back of the bed. And they have holes cut right here in the back of the cab. That's been there since I got the truck in 89, so some other cool stuff you can see here where they had could put a pipe pole in there and then there's adjustments, you can tighten it up and they put the in there. So I'm guessing, you know, you put a camera up here on both corners, has the same thing on both sides. Just a freaking cool truck. And I hated to even put plugs and wires on it. We just felt like we needed to. And a buddy of mine worked on this thing about 10 years ago. He worked on a throttle or choke or something and he said, dude, this thing is a freaking time machine under the hood. Freaking time machine. And you know, I have no problem with replacing things, but I hate to replace anything, right. I don't want to touch anything. Started running a few times a year. Have fun with it. Which is what I'm getting ready to do now. On the roll bar it had two square lights and two round lights and padding on the roll bar as I mentioned. So I want to do that. Then the truck will have the look. What else can I tell you about real quick? 30, let's see, 20, 28,000 I'll be able to see in the camera. I forget now, I bought it with like 22,000 right now it says 28,000, 28,990 miles. So you know, I put 5,000 miles on it maybe in the past 30 some years. Hate to say that this truck's been for my enjoyment since 1989. And the first year I had it our small town, we had a, you know, this summer fest thing every year. I was working for the police department that day, so I was doing traffic control. So I had one of my buddies drive this truck in the local parade. We had a sign on the side, you know, the TV truck, blah blah blah. And people would snarl and go, oh yeah, right. That's from California. That's the real truck from the TV show. Uh huh. You know, people had attitude about it and so I was like, you know what, whatever. So I've always kept it in my shop and if somebody would walk in one day and go, hey, that truck looks familiar back there, Is that. And I'd go, yeah, sure. And I would tell the story or if somebody asked me on public when I go out with it. And today I thought, you know what, I want to do something different. Different. I'm going to go charge up the old battery, maybe get a new battery for the Dodge. I'm going to fire that thing up and go for a drive. Enjoy, enjoy it A little bit. We'll give it a little bit. We'll come back and give her a try. All right, here's how we did in the old days. Pump the hell out of it. Yeah. There we go. All right. So far, so good. We're gonna go put some fresh gas in. Oil pressure is doing good. Water temperature's doing good. Battery's charging. Oh, yeah. Camera work would have been Heather if you were here and didn't decide to take April off. Nah, I'm just kidding. Heather is working from home in April. I decided to just let her stay home and said, go home, stay there. I'll pay you, answer your emails, talk to customers, and man the helicopter land grill in school phone line, which is what she's doing. That number is 574-767-1797. So that's, you know, how we work this whole damn pandemic thing. As I just felt better letting Heather stay home. Brian was going to work from home at any way. This way Heather can be home, be safe, don't have to travel, expose herself to anybody, which in turn is good for all of you. For our ground school members or those of you thinking about signing up for helicopter land ground school, Brian already said it. He will talk to any of our current members. He'll talk to you about your flight training needs, future presentations. Heather's there to take care of. We're not shipping books right now. We had a few orders that kind of snuck through, but I took most of those links down just because I don't want to even be sending Heather to the post office right now. And that's why I'm promoting the free links for the PDFs for both of them. You know, once the world gets back to a little more, you know, normal kind of thing, we'll get back to shipping the paperbacks. But for now, I just. Free PDFs down below. Free radio course down below. Great free resources. Nobody named the show. I saw the guests. This wasn't Knight Rider and Heather and Brian. Can't say I think I'll give a T shirt to the person that figures out what show it is and types it in the box. I don't think anybody has. Might take us a week or two for you. We ship the shirt for you because there you go. You figured it out. Michael Simon and Simon. That's the show. So Michael got it. You might already have a shirt that was so cool. Maybe you need to do a send pick of your truck. Do a send a you and your truck pick. Michael got it. Yep. So we, we owe you a T shirt, Michael. Email heatherhelicopterground.com your t shirt size and your oh, I have a shirt. Give it the number two. All right, how about Daniel? Daniel's probably got one. Do you, Daniel, do you have shirt? Because if you don't, we will send it to you. So Daniel, if you want it, yes, you want it, or yes, you got one, you want it, if you want it or Whoever wins. Email heatherelicopterground.com Size and your shipping address. But she probably won't ship it for a week or two. She has been coming in once a week but she saw him recuperate from her outpatient surgery, which she's doing well. But I don't want to make her drive in this week so it'll probably be next week or the week after before she ships it. Awesome. You'll take it? Good. Then email heatherhelicopterground.com all right, thanks everyone for tuning in. Foreign. Let's revisit one more time because I'm darn proud of this and this just lifted me up today. I already said in the beginning, when I got that picture today from Jim Adams, I was, I was really excited and you know, right there's the point. I spent hardly any money on ground school from the actual helicopter ground school. And I try to say that when we're doing these videos and talking to to you, but you can ultimately save money by using helicopter on ground school because you can cut the time that you spend one on one with your instructor. Your instructor is still going to be responsible for your sign offs, for your testing and your instructor still has to sit down with you and evaluate your knowledge before you can take the checkride. Okay, that has to be done by your instructor. But the more time you spend learning on your own from your iPad, your iPhone, your desktop, your laptop from our mobile app, the more you learn on your own, the quicker you accelerate through the flight training. And some schools are happy with that because they, a lot of schools rather just go fly the helicopter anyway. So many instructors don't have a problem with this. Something else that comes up, people say, well, my 141 says school says I can't use your training. Well, that's not true. If you're using an online course to learn something, there's nobody that can stop you from using an additional learning source. But what they're telling you is if they're part 141, they still have to go through their recommended course of training with you their ground school, they have to do that. That's mandated by the FAA. So if you are going to to part 141 school. Yes. You have to sit in the classroom with them in their classroom environment and they have to go through that whole entire ground school course with you. With that being said, we have members that have stated I'm attending a Part 141 school. I'm happy with the ground school I'm getting, but I've still used helicopter online ground school as an additional source. So thanks again, Jim for sending this in today because it really picked me up on a week where I was just struggling. You know, we all have our days, right. And things are going to get better. We see a lot of areas, you know, peeking around the country. There's still going to be some areas are going to go up, a lot of them are going to go down. I mean, we're all in the same boat together, right? It just sucks. It just, just totally sucks. It just got to me this week more than ever. I got her. I see. A nice comment from Michael Hoggs fills in the gaps from my instructor and HOGS is great for the review just before the checkride. More importantly, HOGS helped me keep the ground school bill down at my 141 school. Awesome. Paul says, no doubt. Love the app. Thank you, Paul. Paul just used our written test practice and got his wings credit for the commercial course. Let's touch on that real quick. Still a few people here. There are, there's FAA wings practice on every course. Private commercial instruments, cfi. It's at the end of each course we have one member who's had some trouble getting his credit and Brian and I are looking into that. But because I'm only here part time, I've been part time working at home. The one computer that reports the FAA has been off the majority of time. Because I don't leave my computers on, I feel better off leaving at night. All computers off. So we have one computer that reports to the FAA daily, but if we're not here, it's not reporting. So that may have slowed up some wings credit for some of you. So if you're using that, if you've got just recently taken a written test, just give it a couple more days and let's see. Brian said we'll revisit this guy who just did. He did all four of them. He did private commercial, CFI and instrument. He had all four written test practice for all four courses. He's an airline pilot reviewing, going for his Helicopter add ons. So how cool is that? We have a professional pilot member who is doing his helicopter add ons. So professional. He's a professional pilot airline pilot joins hogs does unlimited membership professional pilot. And he's went through all four courses, taken all four written tests. Because what's he doing? Refreshing his knowledge. Here's something that Brian and I talk about all the time. So many people want to skimp. And there's those of you who will learn anything and everything. Then there are those people that want to skimp. So knowledge is power. Learning as much as you can. Staying current. Just because you get your private pilot license doesn't mean you never need to learn again. We all learn every single time we go fly. Every single one of us. I've been flying 23 years and every time I go out I learn something new and it's cool, right? And I learn stuff every day and I have to refresh stuff every day. I mean it's amazing. Awesome course. Thank you, Paul. Michael Worth. Yes, please. I don't understand wings credit. In the course for the wings credit, there is not only a video attached with the written test practice, there's also a description below, all typed out on exactly how to use it. We have a lot of people that don't watch the tutorial or read the print and Brian and I discussed this. You know, if you're going to be a good test taker, it doesn't matter what test you're taking. Let's use FAA written test. For example, when you're going through your written test practice, if you're using, let's say you're using the ASA book, make sure you go through all the test taking tips. Right? When you go to take your FAA test at the facility, make sure you read every single thing about the test before starting the test. Ours is the same way there is in each course, private commercial instrument cfi. At the end of that lesson is the written test practice. There's a video that explains how it works, how the FAA website works, how you receive the credits and it's also typed out in down below that video. And Heather actually went in there and put in red and all those courses. You have to have the same email for hogs that you do for the FAA wings credit. So you'll have to change one or the other if they're not the same, which you can always change your HOGS email. So if you're Hoggs member and you want to get the FAA wings credit for a written test, you can take whatever email you have used to sign up for FAA wings and just change it inside hogs. If you haven't signed up for FAA wings. In the video it tells you how to sign up for FAA wings. And then you would just want to sign up with FAA wings with the same email for your HOGS account. Lots of questions that come up on the written test practice. And that's great because people are utilizing it and I love that. So. So your questions are welcome. We've tried making though that video and the description box below as descriptive as we can about that written test. Brian is going to re evaluate that and we're going to take a look at that because he's going to go through at some point, not tomorrow because he's building something else new right now. But on the list of things for Brian to do is he's going to go through the written test. The questions are pretty darn good because I just within a month ago I took the private pilot written test. Most of those are the same questions you're going to see. I saw a few questions that you might question and go, mmm, maybe that should be updated. But even when you take the FAA written test, they tell you there might be a couple of questions that are bad during that test. And if it's a bad question, you get credit even if you answer wrong on a bad question. So those questions in the FAA written test, they are built on actual FAA written test questions. So at some point Brian will go through those and look for questions that are outdated, you know, that aren't relevant anymore. And we'll reevaluate the video in there and the description on anything that we might need to update. But it's pretty good. What's in there on how you take the FAA written test? I see Brian there answering questions. Awesome. Michael. So it will be valuable to me later, after I'm a private pilot. Sure. Yes, absolutely. There's benefits to the wings program and some of that's explained in the video. Awesome. Constantly adding the programs. That's right. It's never ending. That's why there's three of us that are gainfully employed with helicopter land ground school. This is not a sideline for us. This is what we do full time helicopter line, ground school, make updates, make changes, occasionally build new courses. We built a lot of stuff there for a couple years, so we took a break from building new courses. We got one cool one that Brian's putting together. Some of you will be interested, some of you won't need it, but we'll talk more about that later. Brian's like, don't talk about it yet. So that's all I'm going to say. Say, all right. Thanks again, Jim Adams, for sending me the picture today and that wonderful testimonial and lifting my spirits. Spirits on a week that's had me a little bit down. I'm human. All right. Peace out.
