Launching The Helicopter Online Ground School Mobile App Replay

All right, super impromptu live event here. I just put a title in and went live. The app is up. The mobile ready. The mobile app is up. And this just happened just, I mean, minutes ago. And basically, if you're a HOGS member, you can consume both the free content, any of the free things that you might have, and also the paid membership site. They're all now available on the app. It's brand new. I just brought it up. And for you to download the app, go below this video. There's the link down the description box and that link will take you to where you need to be. I guess this is, like I said, this is brand new. I followed the link, clicked a couple things. I have iPhone, so of course I went to the iOS, downloaded it from the Apple Store. Awesome, Ron, Good stuff. Absolutely. Looks pretty cool from what I can see. So anyway, I've got my full. I gave myself the professional pilot membership and once I did that, boom, I look and I can see my library. Live training Tuesday Instrument pilot course. Private pilot Ground school, Commercial pilot Certified flight instructor. Robinson R22 training. Robinson R44 specific training. Instrument specific training. So I can see all the courses. So this is my first look. Basically I just download the app over there as I went live. And so this is really kind of a first look. Nice icons, pictures all look good. So I'm going to click on private pilot and see how we go. There we go. Private pilot, helicopter ground school. Oh, first thing I see, brand new live Tuesday at 2. So that is in the private pilot membership at the very beginning of the course. And we are going to be going live Tuesday at 2 for helicopter land ground school members. And we're going to go live from within the HOG site. So to answer that question, where do we go for live training? Not live training. We used to be called live training Tuesday. Now it's live Tuesday at 2. So that's where you go. Private pilot section. Right. Beginning in the course, there's a new category and there'll be a post under there where our video will go live on Tuesday, 2pm Eastern, 11am Pacific. Anybody else here? Let's see. Hopefully we'll have some members log in, ask some questions. I don't have anything specifically prepared yet for Tuesday. Like I said in the video yesterday, it's. We'll have something that we can talk about, something prepared, but it's not going to be like heavy duty teaching for an hour like it was when we were doing the live training Tuesday. We want to be able to talk to members, answer your questions about the site, listen to suggestions, talk about what we're going to be updating first. There are so many things that need updated that, you know, I'm going to be trying to focus on where to go first and have to say, I'm still missing coffee with Kenny. I am. It still kind of hurts, I'm telling you. But what I've done just in a day and a half that I could come in and start focusing on the site, answering questions, taking care of members, looking at the site, looking at things, I want to update it hands down was the right thing to do. This is kind of cool because this is a very like 60 second video basically telling you that you can download a course inventory. I mean, you can look at the whole course, but in the event you want to look at each video and Heather's going to have to be updating those soon because I've already made a bunch of changes and Heather's gonna have to go into that document and start updating the document to match the new changes going to the site. But that's cool. So that's what the first video in the private pilot course is, just the course inventory. Then the next video important. Keep your membership as long as you like, cancel anytime. Did a quick video. This is brand new. Just wanted people to know when they get right inside the course. I explain how to unsubscribe, how long you keep the training, how to do it, so that hopefully if you're watching the course there's no misunderstanding about. This is a subscription, it's a monthly subscription and you have to either unsubscribe yourself or else do it for you. Okay, so I can see the questions, all the questions down below from the past, everything has moved over. The developers of the site guaranteed us that anything we change inside the hog site that we've had for years automatically gets updated in the app. So this we know, and I know you can't really see this real well right now because the oddball camera, but that blue icon with the K looking thing, that's what the icon that's going to be on your phone because the developers. I created the course, but I used a course platform and I still think it's hands down one of the best platforms on the planet for online training. They developed this new app and developed it for us and for you, our members. So they guaranteed the mobile app will match the online course. So you can still log in on your desktop, your laptop, you can log in on any device in the site that's always been there. Or if you want to log in on the mobile app, you can do that as well. Looks like it's just, I mean our original site still works on a smartphone, but this is just going to be easier because you'll have the icon download on your smart device from the app store and then you'll be able to click on the link and it'll take you right inside the course. Once you've signed up the first time and you put your email in from the helicopter online ground school site, then you're in. You're not going to have to log in each time and enter your damn password. And that's going to be nice, right? Passwords are a pain in the frickin rear. So once you download it to your smartphone or your iPad, whatever the case is, you're going to have an icon, you can click it, boom, go right to your course. I had to put my password in the first time. I had to confirm it, downloaded the app, confirmed it, it went to my email, I had to go to my email and confirm email and then boom, I could download it. So that's all you should have to do. No other questions. I see. So, so yeah, go below. If you just Joined us down below in the description box is the link to start your process to set up. It's very easy. It's only going to take you a few steps. Once you've signed up and you're in the mobile app, you're done. That's it. You just start consuming the training. Like I said, you won't have to keep putting the damn password in. Every time you want to go and see the training, you can go right to the app. And they had a live event this week that where they explain exactly how things were going to be working. They said this app is brand new, it's fully functional. Just went live as far as I know. I just got the email literally 25 minutes ago, opened up the app and went live. There are going to be some other features are going to come along Right now the mobile app is designed for smartphone but they are going to develop it even further. So there's even another version for like tablets. So that's in the works. And I know a lot of people are going to ask about offline viewing at this point. You still need Internet for this. But they said offline viewing is something that they're working on and that is in the process. You just have to be patient because I've been with this, with this company now for eight years and for eight years they have done nothing but continually add new options for us, add new things and every time somebody asks for something, when I say I don't have it right now, but it's coming. Hang on. They have always delivered everything they said they were going to do and they got a whole lot more coming out. So boy got quiet. There's 15 people there watching. I was with these guys and I'd spent years and thousands of hours building the original site and then they came out with a new fully mobile site and they're like, we know this is, you know, you hate making the plunge but we've got this brand new site, it's way better than our original and, and I had to borrow the money from my sister at the time to buy the new course just so I could. Or not new course, but their newest platform I think that was, it was 2015 or 2016 and it was a shit ton of work moving everything over. But I have to tell you, I'm glad I did again. Same developers I've been working with for eight years. No reason to go anywhere else. I had another company just the other day approach me and said, hey, we want to develop a mobile app for you. And I'm like, hang on because we got one coming and we're going to check it out first and see from what I can tell, there's no reason for me to go anywhere else for an app. All right, Benny says he's got it.
