In the beginning I did a lot of live, a lot of stuff, one on one live with members and help them, you know, kind of prepare for the checkride. You'll do some, some training with your instructor to make sure that you're ready. But you want that second opinion. So next I want to point out, with the private pilot membership or the commercial pilot membership, or the certified flight instructor membership. With any of those three memberships, you get our Robinson R22 training, Robinson R44 training, and our instrument specific training. Same thing with the commercial. You get the R22, the R44, and the instrum. Same thing with certified flight Instructor. You get R22, you get R44, and you get Nstrom. So that's something we used to keep separated and we've changed things up a little bit and we thought to make it easy for you or hopefully easier to choose what you want to do and where you want to go with your career, we're just going to give you all of them. Because a lot of times somebody signs up with R22, then later they come back and say, hey, Kenny, can I buy the R44? So we thought, you know what? We're going to make it easy. So if you're just going for the private pilot membership, you know you've already got R22 and then you want to transition to R44 later or the instrum later, boom, you have that training, you don't have to come back and ask for it. So that's automated we like. The next thing I want to point out is members sometimes don't understand this and it's okay. Maybe I didn't explain it well enough back in the day. If you join at the commercial membership level, this includes private. So you might be someone who knows you're going to do private. You want to go to commercial, great. You can start with the private when you're ready, move into the commercial stuff. If you're going to be a commercial pilot, we recommend you go through the private again to go through everything and make sure it's iron clad solid in your brain. Because the commercial checkride is a private pilot checkride on steroids. Okay? Everything that you had to know at the private level, you have to know it again at the commercial level. But you have to know it to a better tolerance and you have to understand privileges and limitations as a commercial pilot. So if you're just going to go for private, that's great. And you got all the aircraft specific training, you're going to go for commercial, you can join the commercial membership. Maybe you're close to the commercial and your checkride is a month away, you can join the commercial. I'd still recommend going through private and then the commercial section, we add commercial specific things on top of the private information. Works the same way with certified flight instructor. You could say, let's say you're working on your CFI and you're a couple months away or you just got started, you can go for the certified flight instructor membership. I would recommend start with the private, go through it all again, go through the commercial and then go through the cfi or go through the CFI stuff, then maybe back up and work your way through again. Because as a certified flight instructor, everything is fair game. Not only do you have to know all this information, you have to be able to teach this information so you can see how you can use it. Depending on where you're going, where you're going to go with your career, you're going to be a private pilot, you're going for commercial, you're going for cfi. And of course, yes, we're always giving an option to upgrade later. If you go for the private and then later you want to upgrade that's always an option as well. So again, the one on one live checkride preparation with us is to help you one on one, no matter what checkride you're going through. Going for private, commercial or cfi. So I presented our chief pilot, Gary Cleveland presented and then we had Taz Christman who is one of our online ground school members and who works for the Air Force as lieutenant colonel drone pilot and he's also an airplane instructor, helicopter instructor. So super qualified he was in the area and he stopped in to help us help us present the last live event. And that was Courtney there. You saw she moderates comments while we're doing the event. Every so often we check in with her to see what comments we may have. And you just saw a shot of Taz there. So we're really proud that that's up and going. So now we're going to go to next category. So I just showed you live training Tuesday introduction, fall 2017. That's going to show you what's been going on here recently. We have an introduction. We have general aerodynamics, Aerodynamics of flight, helicopter flight controls. These are all lessons based on the helicopter Flying Handbook. The Helicopter Flying handbook is your helicopter bible. So we're using that. So if you're at home and you're studying through your helicopter flying handbook, this kind of follows that. So that kind of works. As you're working through that book, you could be working through here as well. Lesson 5, helicopter components sections and systems. Lesson 6, rotorcraft flight manual. Lesson 7, weight and balance. Lesson 8, helicopter performance. You then have two more pages. Lesson 9, ground and flight preparation. Lesson 10, basic flight maneuvers. Lesson 11, advanced flight maneuvers. Lesson 12, autorotations. Lesson 13, emergency operations and hazards. Lesson 14, attitude instrument flying. We're working on that. Getting that ready to go live. We're actually going to shoot that next week live. Put that in the site. Lesson 15, night operations. That's brand new. There's four brand new videos in there we just shot this week. They're already edited. And inside that section, lesson, lesson 16, effective aeronautical decision making. Lesson 17, airspace. Everybody struggles with airspace, so everybody's got to go through that one for sure. Several times probably. Lesson 18, navigation. Lesson 19, weather. Lesson 20, aeromedical. The last section three, the practical test standards. That's some training that I built originally way back. That's in there as kind of a bonus. And then we have downloads. We have different downloads you can use to download to your iPhone or download. Print them off on your iPad, print them off on a computer. Whatever you want to do, use these extra things to study. So I'll run you through helicopter commercial pilot categories. Again. You have the resume course, live training, commercial pilot aerodynamics. Airspace preparation with Gary getting started. What we filmed the majority of his training going for his commercial commercial preparation. Part two with Gary. We have weather and then we have downloads. So there's a lot of content in there and we're adding to that. We're going to take a look at the CFI section next. Same thing again. In the certified flight instructor section you have the resume course button. Have the live training tab. HOGS member support. Lesson one, getting started. Lesson two, fundamentals of instructing. Lesson three, aerodynamics. Lesson four, airspace. Lesson five, pull down auto rotations. Lesson six, helicopter hazards. Lesson seven, maneuvers. Lesson eight, special emphasis areas. We have a section of older recorded training that we think will be helpful and then we have downloads. And again, this just like everything else, we are all always adding, updating and improving the training. Okay, so now I've taken you back to the private pilot sections because there's a lot of content in here and this works best to show you the progress tracking. So you have the resume course button down. You should figure that out by now. You can see by looking at categories, it shows you how much of that category you've completed. So this is test, this is my account, so I'm always updating. I haven't watched every video since they've been updated. So you can see I've got completed a little here. None of that part of this one. So at a quick glance on the categories, you can tell if they're all blue. You know you've been through them all. Tells you the areas you need to work through, which we suggest going through hogs starting from the beginning and go through every single video. Our most success stories. Most success stories tell us. Kenny. I went through the same videos or I went through all of them two or three times or more. And those are the guys and girls that go in nail checkrides. Okay. They've applied themselves and they've studied really hard. So let's take a look at, say, General Aerodynamics. This one I actually marked. You can mark them complete on your own and it will also show you, even though I've been through those, I haven't marked them completed. So if I want to put a check mark, then I know I'm done. So you could do that. If you say, I've been through that and if I know I'm not going back, you could check, mark it. Otherwise it will show you the progress. Let's take a look at the next aerodynamics section. Okay. This will give you a better representation of the training that I've viewed. So in your case, you can look at, you can go into the category and say, okay, I've completed that one, you've completed this one. This one hasn't been watched yet. This one I marked completed for some reason, probably because I updated the video and after I edited it, I knew I watched it. So I marked it completed. And then I've watched these videos. So it'll tell you how much you've watched of each video. So we really like that. Our original site didn't have that, but it's awesome to have that quick reference, have your resume button, have the progress tracking, something that just came up. When we update a video, we just delete the old video, make old post, put in a new post. So if, say you come back to do some studying and you just went through all these videos and you wanted to just go through them again and we've made an update, when you log in, they would all be marked except for the one that we've just updated. When we first started that, we weren't sure how to do it and we figured out just delete the old post, put a new post, and then the tracking will show you haven't watched it yet. So that's how you can keep track of every video. And we make an update, we'll delete the old post, insert a new post in that spot, and then you'll know that you have completed or you have not completed. So we're really happy with that as well. So we'll take a look at just one particular video. We have gyroscopic precession. In this one, you can view the video. Here you can download an MP3 file. Our older ones are MP3. We're now rendering things in MP4 files, but you can actually download the audio portion. The video is not downloadable, but the audio portion is. So let's say you've watched the video and you've got it, but you just want to hear it over and over. You can download the MP3 file and that's something you can listen to while you're driving or when you're mowing or whatever the case is. So this shows you how you can quickly go from video to video. And again, you can mark them as completed, but you can quickly click to the next video. The thing to remember is they differ a little bit when you go between say smartphone to tablet to laptop. I'm presenting to this to you on a laptop. So the buttons might be in a little bit different places, you might have a forward and back button. And we continually change themes up from time to time because they put out new themes, the developers put out new themes and offer new features. So things change a little bit. But you can see, in essence, you can work through the program step by step.
