Short transcript excerpt from a Kenny Keller helicopter video demonstrating techniques for maximizing takeoff performance. Speakers coordinate callouts (airspeed, height, gauges, obstacles) while managing power, ground effect, gradual pitch and forward momentum to clear an obstacle during a near-max takeoff.

Let's do a max takeoff. Let's not pull over.
24 sounds good.
You're 23 and clear. An obstacle down there where that red sign is.
That's at seven. That's it.
100Ft.
100Ft. So war thaws. 678 Romito. Clear Runway 1836. So we're going to come.
Down about six inches. Take your effect of that.
Ground effect clear.
Foreman no. 1. That's all the gauge in the green.
So we'll just start.
Coming up just a little bit.
Got a whole inch.
Can he do it?
And if you can't make your obstacle.
What are you going to do?
Abort it?
You got another inch in there up to 23 right there.
There's 24. Just under 24. 23 and a half.
Coming up about.
100Ft almost.
There's about 100ft and we're going just for forward air.
Just cleared it.
I don't think if I'd have pulled right to 24. I don't think I'd have cleared that. I wouldn't have had the power. So I just try to start easing it up, get a little forward momentum.
And then just slight more raise rather than just yanking right.
