Kenny Keller (host) announces a new downloadable private-pilot study guide made available to ground-school members. The guide contains over 200 questions designed to test knowledge ahead of the private pilot checkride; Keller advises newer students to wait until they have a basic grasp of the material and recommends using the guide as a self-test and lookup exercise when preparing for the checkride.

Hey, ground school members, I have a new download for you. I'm at home on a Sunday afternoon and I just found this document that Brian had sent me. So I just downloaded it in the private pilot section. And this is a study guide with over 200 questions. And it's a great document to go through and test your own knowledge. If you're brand new to studying, I would probably wait until you have a good handle on the information to go through it. Because if you go through it now, if you just started out, it's going to be overwhelming to you because there is a ton of questions in here. But if you're getting closer to checkride, you've been studying, you've been going through ground school, doing your own thing, doing training with your instructor, and you're feeling good about the knowledge, now would be a good time to go through this list. So if you think you're ready to test your knowledge, start going through it. If you don't know the answer, look it up. Good pilot uses his or her resources. You got to know where to find answers to questions. Heck, when I was going through that thing, I had to think about it and I had to even look a few things up. So it's a study guide. It's to help test your knowledge. Don't let it overwhelm you if you're new. But it's a great document to help you get ready for the checkride.
