Okay, let us know in chat if you can hear us. YouTube's made some changes in the last couple times we went live. This didn't work out so well. So the R44 has returned. This was us putting it in yesterday afternoon. Went for my first flight. Christopher Hauser brought it back. You may know Chris from our videos. He's been one of my longtime students, did all his ratings, private commercial and cfi. So I was very comfortable to send Chris down to Tennessee to pick up the aircraft. And I got 30 seconds. I wanted to watch the, I want to watch the video. I want to see the R44 getting pulled inside. So there it is. After going for a flight yesterday, as I was saying, Chris brought it home and I had total faith in sending Chris down there. I was at Heli Expo with my daughter last week and enjoying Southern California and got home Sunday night and Hauser beat us back. He was back with the helicopter prior to me getting home. And then the beauty is, before I came in yesterday, the paperbacks arrived. We have a whole box full of them right here. And these were individually sent. I don't know why. So here is the paperback copy, not the proof. This is now live on Amazon. You can get the paperback and don't forget, you can get the free PDF down below. So you can go start consuming this right now if you like. And as soon as the video is over, we'll make sure all the links are down below like they should be. So we'll have a link for the free PDF you consume, can consume right now. We'll also put a link down there to Amazon where you can get the paperback and or the digital copy. And the paperback came out number one new release. By the time it went live and I went online and checked, boom, that quick, it was the number one new release. So I was super happy about that. And so we'll start. This is the end of our 12 years online sale. Thank you for everybody. Got to take a moment to show, you know, our gratitude for all of you that have been with us since the beginning or if you're new to our channel, if you're new, subscribe, because we always have nice new content coming out. So here's the R44. First thing we, we got it back, went through the log books and as I stated, some other videos. There were some minor things in the engines that did get replaced. So it wasn't like I spent all that money for nothing. They disassembled the helicopter, checked the rotor system, checked everything out, sent the engine to the rebuilder who had rebuilt it 139 hours earlier, same guy went through it and we went through the log books and he replaced some bearings and some rod bolts and some different things were replaced in the engine. So we did legitimately do some damage to it with that overspeed. So just think about what could have happened if I would have just zipped my lip and not said anything. Who knows down the road when that engine may have had a major malfunction and could cause injury or injury and or death to one or more people because I wouldn't have fessed up to what happened and somebody has an engine failure later. So it flew really nice before they did more tracking on it. So it was already tracked really nice from the overhaul a year ago. They tracked it again after putting it back together. They put about four hours on it down there doing the testing, doing the tracking, and then Chris put around four hours on it bringing it back. He said it did phenomenal. And then I went out yesterday for my own purposes and went out to fly an hour. I wanted to see how I would do after not flying for three months. And you know, you have to kind of refresh your memory, but within the first five or ten minutes I was like, yeah, you know, I kind of remember how to do this. Feels pretty good. So we flew it around for an hour and had a great time. So back to the book, what we're doing from now until midnight. We'll send you a signed copy. Sign up for any membership between now and midnight and then the best thing to do. So we know you saw the video and you're expecting your book. Just email heatherelicopterground.com after you sign up and say, hey, this is so and so. Just sign up for the membership before midnight and tell me what you want, what you what you would like for me to write in the book. And we'll just open that dude up for you and put a little something something for you on the inside and Heather will ship that out to you. So between now and midnight Tonight, this is March 5th. Sign up for any hogs course and we'll send you a copy of the paperback. We did a live event a couple weeks ago where we gave away some of the older copies before the new ones arrived. And people really enjoyed that. And when at Heli Expo, several people said, hey, I won one of the or got one of the one books, one of the books you guys gave away during that live signing. And that was really fun. We had fun doing it. And because of the People that made comments. We're going to do it again maybe coming coming up in the next week or so. We got a bunch of copies here. So we're going to do something where the next one, we're not just going to give them away, but we will sign them and send them to you for shipping and handling within the US it'll be like 995 or something. So it'll be cheaper than you can even get on Amazon. I have it set at the minimum I could put it, it's like $11.77 on Amazon. So for the next special, we'll go live, do some training, teach you some stuff and I'll sign the books for you live and then Heather will ship them to you for just 995. Should be in handling. So we got that coming up. So what else? What else should I talk about? All of a sudden I've lost my train of thought. Yeah, Final approach course. So what we found out is our examiner I've been working with for 23 years that I always brag about, he's recuperating from injury on his foot so he's not available for checkrides until April 12th. So we can get you scheduled if you're wanting to do a checkride in a final approach course and or if you just want to come out and experience the R44 a day for today. We kind of want to encourage that. Last year we pushed the final approach course heavy and we did nine or 10 of them. I can't remember now whether it was nine or 10. Those all went well and that was a lot of fun. But that's also a lot of stress, right? To get you here and a three or four or five day and fly, fly, fly, do a bunch of ground, get to the examiner, get you a check ride and get you sent back home. We'll do those and they're fun. But this year I want to promote coming out for a day. Like we'll get you on the schedule. You come out for a full hour or a full hour, a full day, an eight hour day. We'll do a flight in the morning, a flight in the afternoon. Something that I frequently talk about is with flight training for a really good lesson, a good one hour lesson in a helicopter is gonna take three hours out of your day. A lot of flight schools don't do it that way. They push you in, push you out, hurry, hurry, hurry. But if you're gonna properly come in, meet your instructor, do a proper pre flight, discuss what you're gonna do for the day, push it out, get fuel, go fly, do a proper shutdown, sit down, fill out logbooks, and debrief the flight that easily turns into three hours. And that's the way it should be, could even be four if you, if you're really taking your time and talking about the things that you need to be talking about with your instructor. And that's the way we operated the final approach course last year. Two years ago, when we did it, we did three flights a day. And we learned that even with a full day and we're working with you just one on one, doing three flights in one day is just really pushing it. You don't get that good of a break. You feel kind of hurried, and by the end of the day you're just wore out and tired. And so last year I said, you know what? We're going to do two flights a day. We'll do one in the morning, take a nice break, have lunch. We fix lunch on the grill here at the Hogs hangar, then go back out and fly a second flight in the afternoon. So we'd like to do some of those packages. If you'd like to come out and you'd just like to experience the R44, we'll encourage that between now and April 12th when we start moving into the final approach courses, when our examiner is available again. And if you want to come out and maybe get a SFAR endorsement where you come out and maybe you need five hours, we can go out, do the training and get you that SFAR sign off that you might need. And the one day course, we start talking about that today because we have some people that want to come out, even though they've got their ratings, they just want to come out and experience the R44 and learn some of the, I don't know, tips and tricks and things that I think are important that not, that's not necessarily being taught at a lot of schools, just basic stuff, nothing earth shattering. But, you know, I have my tricks and tips and things that I've seen over the years that I think works really well that a lot of people aren't shown. So that kind of inspired, like, you know, there are people that just want to come and experience the R44, fly in a different location, fly with a different instructor. And I highly encourage that because the more different aircraft that you try, the more people that you fly with, the better rounded pilot you will be. The more that you do, the more you will learn. And it just helps make you a better Rounded pilot. So we'll start to wrap up here. Any questions from anybody? Heather? So the 12 year sale ends tonight, right? On our website it says it has the code. I think it's 12 years online. Any of the memberships monthly through Pro. The code is right there. And you know, for those of you that are new to this, if you've been watching, you know what this book's about. This is a book for the really geared for the beginner. The books I've done in the past have usually been geared for somebody who's already flying and you're trying to get through to the checkride. That's kind of what I've really been doing since I really started this. And that's our typical member is usually somebody not brand new. It is at times but most of our customers join because they've been doing some flying, they've been doing some ground and they realize, wow, there's a lot to this and maybe their flying's going well but their instructor's not doing much ground with them. We just heard, heard from a guy that's at a 141 school, has 200 hours and he doesn't have his license and he says they're, they're weak on the ground and I don't know how that could be if they're a 141 school. That, that just sounds really, really odd to me. Anyway, moving on. What's in the book? I'm going to give you the first 10, like right in the beginning. Is learning how to fly a helicopter difficult? How long will it take to become a private pilot? How much will it cost to become a private pilot? What's the best approach in selecting a flight school? What are the key differences between helicopters and fixed wing aircraft? What are some of the common challenges faced during helicopter training? Which helicopter is best for flight training? How many tests will I have to take? How many hours for solo and license and Kenny's recommended training supplies. That's just in the first chapter. You can see this is a pretty healthy book. We're pretty happy with it. We launched the digital version first and let people take a look at it. And then the rest of the book is, you know, there's more questions answered in there. Need to know Getting started with flight training Dual training Preparing for solo flight training tips after your first solo advanced maneuvers Preparing for the practical test Practical test day Additional need to know Introducing Kenny's clone. If you don't know about that, we have a clone now. And while I was gone in California, Lindsey uploaded 180 videos, I think just in private alone. And then she's working on the other others now. So our clone just keeps getting smarter and smarter. We're loading more and more content into it. The last I checked it, I was really impressed with some of the answers. And that's@ask hogs.com that's pretty easy to remember. We'll put that link down below as well. We'll check that as soon as we're done with the live. But go check that out if you haven't yet. It's really kind of cool because you can go to ask hogs.com and you're going to talk to my cologne that's reading from 12 years of my content. It's now over 4 million words with well over. It's probably at 2500 videos by now have been uploaded into it. More, I think. More. Jeez. Okay, so there's like 4,000 of our videos uploaded into this clone. It's un. It's insane when you think about it. But in 12 years on YouTube, I've got 1200 videos, 650 videos inside the courses and then other content that's been made over the years and possibly retired or whatever the case is. So Kenny's or Kenny's clone. Askhogs.com for Kenny's clone. And you can type it in. You can go to your. With your computer or your phone and you can type and ask it questions and you'll get a typed response or if you click the phone icon, the clone will carry on a conversation with you and you can just talk to the clone and the clone answers in my voice and of course speaks better than I can because I flirb half the words that try to come out of my mouth. So it's actually a pretty engaging conversation and I'm blown away by some of the answers. So ask hogs.com in the book we have our resource list about the author and then earn extra income with Hogg's affiliate program. I want to mention that we've. We touch on this now and then.
