The video captures a segment of a wedding reception where multiple participants share artistic and emotional moments. Speaker A delivers a lyrical piece that uses the metaphor of a river’s banks to express unconditional, supportive love, emphasizing themes of partnership, self‑acceptance, and resilience. Speaker B follows with a nostalgic spoken‑word/rap recounting childhood memories of a modest, close‑knit community, reflecting on perceived wealth, family blessings, and the simple joys of growing up in a small town. Finally, Aubrey steps forward to give a heartfelt speech honoring her late father, describing the difficulty of watching father‑daughter dances after his passing, and invites guests to join her and her family in dancing to a song recorded by her father, encouraging everyone to cherish present loved ones. The segment blends music, personal storytelling, and a communal invitation, illustrating the intertwining of love, memory, and celebration at the wedding.

I wanna be there when the voices in your head are loud enough to make you lose your mind. But just the same, when you're dominating the day, I wanna be the one who's by your side. You know my love is not the jealous type. It doesn't matter if No matter if we win or lose. Oh, I can stay or I can go. No matter where you're coming from, I can be the one to let you choose. I wanna hold you close but never hold you back, just like the banks to a river. And if you ever feel like you are not enough, I'm gonna break all your mirrors. I wanna be there when the darkness closes in to make the truth a little clearer. I wanna hold you close I'll be the banks for your river. I'll be the banks for your river. Reynolds Wrap on rabbit ears. TV tray, back in the day we'd watch the 100 years old wagon here, wood panel doors. We wore out our old jeans that were faded from the storm. And that old couch, we pulled the cushions off, we found 50 cents. We'd go crazy, we thought we were rich. Mm. One bathroom sink, we'd all take turns. Once a week, go out to eat for pizza after church. And that old church, red carpet floors. Same Old Navy paisley tie Daddy always wore. And we'd sing hymns, and they'd pass the plate when it was time to give. They'd put in a $20, I thought we were rich. We didn't have it all, but we all thought we did. And Mama always said We were blessed and I believed her. Never thought the grass was greener on the other side of our old chain-link fence. Yeah, we were rich. Never sold any of our work, never took a plane. Once a year we'd drive out to the nearest KOA and we'd light a fire. We'd light a fire. And stare at the stars. Stare at the stars. We played flashlight tag with the people in the tent there next to ours. Time of our lives. We had as much as all the other kids. Maybe that's why we thought we were rich. We didn't have it all, but we all thought we did. And I remember Mama saying we're blessed, and I believed her. I never thought the grass was greener on the other side of our old chain-link fence. Yeah, we were rich. Got a few more dollars in my pocket since the day I left that cotton town. Back there they all think I made it, but God knows I traded for everything we had in that house. 'Cause we were rich. Yeah, we were rich. We didn't have it all, but we all thought we did.
Hi everybody, uh, thank you again. What? Point your light. There you go. Thank you again so much for coming. Um, for those of you who don't know, my dad passed away 6 years ago, um, and I remember after my sister passing away, every Father-Daughter Dance was really hard to watch. Just thinking about how he wouldn't get that moment with Callie and just how important that was to him. And then obviously after Mom and Dad passed, that became so much harder. So I've had a lot of time to think about what to do with this space and time, and I didn't want to just pass it by. I feel so blessed to be here today. We have so much to celebrate, and I'm so excited to be married, but All of your joys are always going to define your sorrows, and so today is also really hard, and that's okay. And Kevin and I just wanted to make space for that. So my mom and my brothers and I are going to dance to a song that my dad recorded, and if anybody wants to come up and join us, we would absolutely love that. And just take some time to cherish the people that are with you, um, and just kind of celebrate Together, so if anyone wants to join us on the dance floor, you're more than welcome whenever you feel comfortable.
No combination of words I could put on the back of a postcard. No song. And all of these moments just might find their way into my dreams tonight. But I know that they'll be gone when the morning light sings and brings new things for tomorrow night, you see. They'll be gone too, too many things I've got to do. But if all of these moments just might find their way into my dreams, you'll be seen. At the end of the impression, I was somewhere in between. We're only two, just me and you. And so many things we got to do, places we got to go. To be, we sit beneath the mango tree now. Yeah, it's always better when we're together. Somewhere in between together. Yeah, it's always better when we're together. Yeah, it's so much better when we're together. There is no combination of words I could say, but I wish to tell you one thing. We're better together. There is no combination of words I could say, but I wish to tell you one thing. We're better together. That was so beautiful, you guys. Thank you so much for including us with that. Thank you.
