Staying Pure on the Path to "Everest" (aka on your way to the best version of your life) 🏔️🚶♀️🙏

Kristin Fagerback shares how she's staying committed to purity and God's will while working toward her goals, including a recent trip to Everest Base Camp. She explains why she's chosen singleness over casual dating and limits friendships with men, while remaining open to marriage if God leads there.

So I think I want to make this an encouragement for not just, um, women but also men that like just to remember to follow, um, like to be a good person and to follow God's will as much as you can. Like even when things are going crazy, I'm trying myself, you know, every day. And I spend like these days like You know, I'm living my best life these days because God is my provider and I'm not relying on anybody else. I work and take care of myself, but ultimately, like, God blesses me for the work that I do serving. And, um, yeah, these days I spend, like, my Fridays and Saturday nights— like, I was in bed working, you know, on my laptop, or Climbing a Jeep up to go to Everest Base Camp and getting stuck like in mud on a Saturday night and people having to dig us out of the mud with the Jeep, basically. Like, I find in my life, like, when I follow God's will and, you know, you like stay away from boys and these kinds of things, like, because if God wants you to get married, like, yeah, you can't like hide under a rock. You're like You have to talk to people and find the person. But for me, I just feel like I just need to follow like God's will and God will provide. And if I don't get married one day, it's fine. And if I do get married, that's great too, you know. So I'm so happy by myself. And because literally this is all because of God, like because I'm really trying to go the narrow path for God. And like I said, I'm not perfect, but the more I go the narrow path for God, the more God just blesses me. He's like, like, well done, my faithful servant, something like that. So yeah, I just say no to like boys and these things, and you know, I, I kind of— I just only want like girl— girlfriends. Um, So yeah, I, I don't want guy friends. And, um, yeah, if God has a husband for me, that's great. If not, I'm fine too. But I don't play games, so I would rather be single than just be like dating someone that I'm not gonna marry. So like that. But anyways, this is just an encouragement for guys and girls out there. Just try to stay pure and be a good person. And, um, remember to love. Like, love even when people aren't loving you. And maybe I'm preaching to the choir. I have to remember that too. Anyways, dear Lord, help us to follow your will. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. Amen.
